Hey all, I'm one of those silent lurker types that always check out the posts, usually laugh and do a lot of learning. As you can see in my sig, my machine is well capable of running the 737NG with nice results. I.m also privy to a high speed connection. But what happens when you're away from home and on a dial-up connection with your system like me right now?:( :( You sit, read posts about people griping (Can most of you ever really be satisfied? I've managed to get to the download site but no further.I have noticed a small change in the URL link.Now showing xxx/shoppingcart/download2.asp?The original link was showing;xxx /shoppingcart/download.asp?The difference is the "2" after download.Is this stopping a connectionMal

Apologies for asking this one, as I am sure it has been answered elsewhere, but have all the emails containing the link for SU2 been sent out yet? If not, thats OK, I am happy to wait my turn...And just a comment, for what its worth, I want to thank you guys at PMDG for your 737. I know I am not the only one that spends 3/4 of his working time trying to download the upgrade, for already 3 days. :( If the average salary worldwide is 2000$ monthly including payroll taxes(for the joke), it's 1500$ x let's say 2000 users = 3.000.000 $ monthly >>> 150.000$ a day...To that you must add the cost of divorces and crimes because of the server problems and you will arrive at something like 200.000$ daily.Robert, find a solution before a worldwide bankrupt, millions of unemployees, social strikes, typhoons, malaria and WW3.Or you will be guilty in front of the History.*:-* David in Jerusalem

Hi PMDGI am a bit upset now. I didn't recieve any mail from you. Not that this is a problem for me but because you never sent one to me! I never changed my e-mail adress (same adress for almost three years now) and I checked my spam folder. There has never been a mail from you. Than I sent a mail to you and asked you to send it. That was now more than 48 hours ago! I heared that all mails have been sent exept a part of 15% which came back! I am getting the following warning when I start FS9 after installing SU2. When loading scenery FS9 hangs so I am unable to get in the 737. Note that I have reinstalled flightsim and the 737 so I have a clean install:Greetings,Timon.

Hi everyone!Just wanted to tell you guys that I was able to download SU2 right now (0815Z)I used getright and it took a very long time until I was able to connect... Fiel size 67 megs, average download speed 60-70 kb/sec.According to getright, the server does not support resuming.Good luck to everyone!Regards,Mark

I have a problam landing when its heavy sidewind.Here is what I do:I turn iff the autoland just before reaching the runway and then manually try to recompensate the wind with speed and heading to get the airplane land centered and in the direction of the runway.Is it little tricky and I need practice.Is there some experiance outthere so you guys can share with me while landing in bad weather, well it can bu sunshine but heavy-sidewind weather.thanxbest regards/Artur

Good evening!I just completed my first flights with the SU2 NG in FS2002 (I was having some weird short pauses in FS2004 with the NG, but I don't know yet what was causing them, so I changed to FS2002 version right away).My conclusion is that you have done an excellent job with the update, and I wish to congratulate you about it! Way to go!A few things I noticed (not big things at all, just thought I mention these anyway):As I undocked the overhead, radios, FMC and the pedestal to other monitors, when I press the Zoom or landing panel buttons, the overhead disappears from side monitor. While I'm waiting for things to calm down I've found some minor errors on two of my repaints that I uploaded to AVSIM.My question is: Is there a way to replace an uploaded file on AVSIM or maybe upload the corrected version and have the old one deleted?In the meantime I'm going to do some flights with SU1.1...;-)RegardsThomas

Guys,I am as frustrated as you are, but whom do all this moaning messages help ?I'm pretty sure the PMDG staff is also scratching their head what to do now, no one there will be happy about this.I think the unlucky thing was to encourage everyone to use a download accerator and that probably turns out to be the biggest problem now.I can only encourage everyone to stop using download accelerators to give the server more to "breath".Mike
