I've just been following the tutorial, on how to operate the 737 and the FMC went all haywire and the aircraft start turning around in midair... what did i do wrong??? I'll never get the hand of this thing! i just wish there was a simpler explanation on how to run it? Is there any way i could fly a route without having to go through all this stress

Will PMDG loadmanager override flightsim menu settings?Have a feeling that kg option in loadmanager does not mix with lbs setting in aircraft weight menu?eker

I think it is , because I have switched it on, and the pitch/bank inputs were positively mantained when I released the joystick!!!Great!!!

Dear AllI worked on this for about 6 hours today. Click on the link below, then click "File" then "Save As" and rename the file Eham. Then place it in the following folder:x:Flight Simulator 9PMDGSIDSTARS folder. Prior to install 737 v1.2 I've uninstaled v1.0 with the suplyed remove utill, rebooted the computer and made a fresh install of v1.2It works flawlessly!! With the installer came only the PMDG livery pack, as expected, and wille runing them I allways get the correct V1.2 version in the plane selection menu.today I've installed the new livery packs, and to my surprise in the plane selection menu to each of the new liverys it says Version 1.0!! AND the liverys are associated to my previously assigned flight numbers and not the default flight number 737!! I've checked to config file and they state v1.0 for the new liverys BUT flight number 737, and not the currently shown in …

If I have already manually installed the liveries that were available for SU1.1, do I need to install the new liveries available today that I already had?

Hi all:I was hoping some of you other captains could confirm whether or not the stairs work after SU2.I have a key stroke assignment for the extend and retract Concorde nose and with SU1 everything worked fine.I used the remove tool and installed SU2 fresh. Stairs no longer work on my machine.I have tried all models with stairs. I have tried reassigning the key stroke for the Concorde nose - the stairs still do not work.Just trying to figure out whether it is my machine or what.Thanks,Terry D.ng

I think I red somewhere that PMDG was "against" the use of third-party weather generators for use while flying the 737NG.Can anyone confirm/explain the reason why?

Things are working great with SU2, but I do have a few observations and questions?I am losing my cockpit sounds, such as GPWS when I turn off the 2D panel and activate the landing view cockpit.In comparing the virtual cockpit front view of the -600 and the on of the -700, I like the one the -600 provides. Is there a way to make them the same for all models without having to change the zoom manually?I got an isolated case in which I could only raise the nose gear after take off using the -700. I didn't set any failures. It didn't happen on any other flights.Look forward to the -800 and -900 release. Great product!LuisKMIA

Dear Team from PMDG and Tester,i must say thanks for this outstanding Flightsimulationsproduckt PMDG 737NG.i am back from a simulated MSFS-flight from LSZH to EDDW under bad waetherconditions.i am handflying(control with CWS) the 737-600 on to FL330. its was quite easy.the plane follow my rudderinputs and holdig all commands. wow, i have never seen bevor in MSFS. the crts are clear and easy to read ,smooth mouving waypoints etc. the two cdu`s working very best and informing me as fspilot over all the things i must know in flight. smooth framerates etc.now i going back to study the complex plane, a lot of implemented things in the new SU2. very well done airplane for msfs …

hi all,does anybody know, where or in which file to change the barometric setting.when fs2004 and pmdg 737-700 (SU1.2) is loaded, I want to see (and ideally hear from atc) hpa not inch.To use a mouse-click on the panel is ok, but I think this can also be loaded automatically.Many thanks for any answer.Micky

Here's a screenshot - I fly with FSMeteo and the in-cockpit display has a mode for winds aloft.I find that punching in the winds aloft into the forecast page makes for smoother descents, and I don't get any VNAV disconnects OR calls for drag.Also, just noticed that I get much better wind control with FSUIPC 3.135.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/53523.jpg

Goodevening all,I have a problem considering to the SID/STAR data in the FMC. I'm planning this evening to fly a flight from Schiphol (EHAM) to London Gatwick (EGKK).When I make this flight in the FMC and when I will select the runway and SID, I only see the runways. I can't select any SID of that airport. It isn't that the airport doesn't have any. They do alright.I've tried to download the EGKK SID/STAR from Navdata webiste but then I can't select the runways nor the sids/stars :-hmmm Who can help me with this.Regards,Guy Haalebos

Hello there before I updated my 737 I had my key set for the stairs on the the 700 series and was able to get them working properly but now the stairs wont come down !!!!, pretty hard to get in the plane :DMarc-AndreMontreal, Canada

Hi everyone!I recently purchased PMDG and i have a few problems with it The first one is taking off... by the time i have enough speed to rotate, the plane is near the end of the runway! And this is on full throttle! How can i make the speed increase faster? Surely the real thing doesnt take that long to lift off!Also the Auto Throttle wont let me engage it.... it says "A/T first" on the control panel but i havent a clue what it means!Also can you use atc IFR with PMDG on FS2002? After installing SU2 (great by the way), I went to program the FMC for a short flight from POGG to PHNL. I normally don't use SIDS/STARS because I don't have the data for them, and don't know which ones to choose blindly. Anyhow, After programming the departure and arrival airports, and choosing the dep/arr runways, the "activate" function never appeared. I tried several times, but nothing. I then chose a SID for POGG, and "activate" did appear, and programming went normal.Is this normal behavior, or can I should I be able to program the FMC without using SIDS/STARS?Thanks in advance,John Drago
