Hello,I would like to know why an important gauge like the clock can only be seen on one panel view? I find this a bit tedious having to go through the VFR view everytime I want to start the stopwatch.Maybe you can make it a separate panel window i.e. map it under shift and 9?Cheers.Alex.

As announced in some other topics I and a friend made a fully SU2 complain SID/STAR file. I hereby release that file (version 1) created by Floris Hartog (SID/STARS/ARRIVALS) and David Walschots (GATES).A sidenote: Currently the PMDG FMC doesn't support advanced transitions like used at EHAM so we had to combine the approach and the last transition for it to work properly (The PMDG itself doesn't have an option for an: 1. I'm asking here because no else answers me on the other forums.I recently reinstalled 2002 and a few of the updates, such as UT. I was having some default scenery issues. Now when I try and fly the PMDG or even the 767PIC the sim crashes, giving the act.dll module as the reason. I have the traffic percent down to 10, since the airports I fly out of are so busy that even this setting results in non-stop ATC communications (can't get a word in edgewise, ect..).Does anyone here think that the UT is giving me the problem or that the traffic is still to high? What else could it be. UT's forums never reply to my post. Before my reinstall I had traffic higher than this.Any…

i downloaded the 5 liveries. i put it in the aircraft folder if this is correct. unfortunately i think the liveries could be faulty cause it keeps telling me that it cannot open the aircraft.cfg required for the liveries.any suggestions?regardslyle

This is going to sound dumb, but here it goes anyway. I can't find this info anywhere.-What is the difference between the 600 and 700.-What's the deal about the winglets. Ok, this post isnt going to solve anyones problems or offer enlightenment to the unenlightened but I had to make it anyway.What an awesome product PMDG737 is. I have been simming for more years than I care to remember and have really been stuck in a rut awaiting the offerings of another certain large commercial aircraft producer. Those guys produced some great add ons in the past and I guess I really didnt trust spending my money elsewhere (have been burned by some add ons). WHAT AN IDIOT, this add on beats just about everything else available. After getting the SU1.2, I decided to go and get a bigger hard drive. I removed all flight stuff from my C: drive and then did a new install on the new 120 Gig F: drive. Now I cant start FS 2004 to fly my new SU2 becuase during the splash screen opening, I get a message " AIRCRAFT INITIALIZATION FALIURE BOEING 737-400"Anybody ever experience this and is it something that I did wrong with SU-2?Warm reguards,Grounded in Seattle

I know you guys are TIRED of hearing this, but your updated release is truly remarkable .. truly a work of art!!!! I have to tell you this!Just completed a nice flight from Karachi to Delhi .. with Meteo, RC3 and FSNAV in the backround for map peeping. Hi PMDG,I was speaking to my friend who is a Captain on the NG's. This is the scenario we were discussing:I was in cruise on Radial 271 inbound to MMV VOR/DME. I wanted to be at 10,000' at 30 DME so I put MMV271/30 into the FMC to get MMV01 waypoint. He said that since you are already on the radial just type MMV/-30. I tried but it said Not in Database. I am assuming this format is not acceptable, although possible in the real a/c.Any comments Anthony?Cheers,Dinshaw.

I see that new Liveries were added to the website. I Remember Mac Paint designing "Air Canada", "Air Canada Tango" and "Southwest Airlines "Shamu" Paint" But they are not in the Liveries section.Have they been released? If not, when Can we grab these Beauties?Thanks.

I'm having trouble with VNAV descent. I'll be in cruise at, say, FL320. Just before TOD I enter a lower alt. in the MCP, but when I cross TOD the aircraft fails to descend and I get a message "PTH DES UNAVAILABLE" in the FMC scratch pad. Any idea what I'm doing wrong. On the -400 I use the same method and the aircraft will descend, following the alt. and speed restrictions.Dave F.

The airplane flies nice but on crosswind landings conditions (autopilot off) unable to track the centerline. The airplane is behaving like skidding on ice, same weather conditions with Microsoft 737 and there are no problems at all tracking the centerline (Yaw dampeners off or on)I suspect an mdl problem related to the rudder.It would be very nice this issue to be fixed, the airplane is excellent otherwise. Hi all, I flew the LOC/DME WEST approach into LOWI for a few times now in various aircraft and wondered which configuration of the -700 would allow me the steep descent (8.2%) in VNAV mode without disconnects. Right now I have to use VS and SPD, and operate at the upper flaps 5 limit with speed brakes extended. My ZFW is medium high (113.3 maybe 60% loaded), fuel a bare minimum (maybe 3000) when I land.

Hi Guys!I have a problem with the 737NG and FS2004. Every time I want to load the PMDG 737NG in FS2004 (from the opening screen)it takes quite long to load the plane. When this is finished and I press the 'FLY NOW' button. It takes a few seconds again before starting to load the scnery, AI traffic etc. A second before the FS2004 starts to load the flight I hear the 'click' of the 'FLY NOW' button. I don't have this problem with any other plane in FS2004.Is this a familliar problem, can I solve this??Regards,Steven van Leeuwen

Here it is, have fun with them.Just a few note for the users:1/ regarding SIDSyou will notice that there is almost sor all sids a transition named as the sid. It is because there is for almost every sids the integrated formula: TRK 226 UNTIL 7000 NOT BEFORE 8 FROM NAV AID GVA.WHEN YOU SELECT A SID, AND IF THERE IS A TRANSITION NAMED EXACTLY THE SAME? USE THE TRANSITION. When the 737 (new version) loads in 2D cockpit mode, sounds like the over speed warning sound is running in back of the engine noise. Also, the recirc fan sound starts after a couple secounds also. When I switch to the virtual cockpit mode, the sound is normal (just jet engine sound). I have the lastest drivers for my sound card installed.The secound problem is with the trim wheels in virtual cockpit mode. They don't move in a smooth motion fore and aft when trimming the aircraft.When I go back to the original 737 version. The above problems work fine. C. Fenlaw

Hi folks,I wound up doing a missed approach at CYOW tonight. Everything went well, except after climbing to the MAP I noticed that the MAP was the only thing left on the ND. I went to the legs page and the MAP was the only waypoint listed. So I entered the initial fix for the runway again and placed it at the top of the legs page. I went to the DEP/ARR page and selected the runway but it would not place the runway on the legs page, nor did it show up on the ND. I tried selecting different rwys but none would show up. I wnt ahead and flew the vectors and intercepted the localizer no problem. Landing went well this time around. Once on the ground, everything reappea…

I just had a quick question regarding cockpit sound effects:Is there supposed to be a tone when the Master Caution button lights up? Also, is there any warning when you disconnect the A/T? I hear a lot of sound effects (flap handle clicking, switches clicking, altitude alert, plenty of good stuff. . .) just didn't know if the two in question exist. Now that I think of it, I don't remember hearing the co-pilot calling out the 80kts and flap positions anymore. . .is this different in SU1.2? Thanks!-DrewKLGB

Hello,I am almost done with the LSGG file, including every thing as per last Jeppesen revision.Even if I am based out of LSGG, and know very well how it works over there, I still have tremendous prob to include som arrival transition.For example, the Lusa6R is as follow:STAR LUSA6RNAVAID LUSAR NAVAID SAUNI 16000 NAVAID LIRKO NAVAID DINIG RNW05 RNW 23Then comes the second part of it which is an RNAV transition, called DINIG3A, for RNW 23, and the last one called DINIG3N for RNW 05I must be stupid, but I am unable to integrate it as it should be, the only solution I have found out is to have 2 LUSA6R, one would be LUSA6R(RNW23), and LUSA6R(RNW05).
