Just managed to download and install the new 737 NG and I must say it looks a beautiful aircraft full marks to the PMDG guys. I have been trying to log in to the Navdata site to download the navdata and I cant find anywhere on the home page to log in . Is anyone else having this problem. I also get page not available when I try to download the Sids and Stars.Thanks for any help.labman

Hi all after a few flightsd with this bird it seems to me that when the flap settings on the speed tape on the FD command a certain setting the aircraft is pitched way up (5-8 degrees) . for example on my last flight the spped tape showed a flaps 1 at roughly 180 knts but theaircraft was pitched well beyond 5 degrees before even coming close to the commanded flapsd settings. is this how the real aircraft flies or is there some way to correct the pitch attitiude of the plane??

Hi PMDG team,A few days ago I managed to download the SU2 and I just want to let you know that in my opinion you guys did a great job! I was impressed with the PMDG737 when it was first introduced and now I'm even more impressed. It really is great to see that, unlike the FS9 platform itself, with you guys there is a real sense of communication between the development team and the customers. To give a small example, I remember quite well how I remarked on the absence of the FD master light and that some member of the team informed me of the reasoning why it wasn't there. Hi Cpts.I have a SID which says to climb on rwy track to 1.0 DME LND.I entered the SID correctly as shown on the graphic below.But it shows the waypoint 1.0 DME BEFORE LND - It has to be 1.0 DME after LND.I tried it with 2.0 DME and surprise: It works correct. The waypoint shown is 2.0 DM after LND.Any ideas whats happening there?Thanks,Art

I just finished an ILS approach on rwy 32 at CYOW (110.3/320).In SU1-1 the ILS info would appear on the bottom left of the ND when the ILS freq was tuned on NAV1. This does not happen for me in SU2.Is this a problem or was 1-1 doing this incorrectly?

Have the links to DL the liveries been taken down for some reason? I've been trying for about an hour and no luck yet. Keep up the great work, I love the new site!

Hi PMDG.I have logged in into the Navdata.at site and downloaded the newest airac cycle.But when i search to the Sid and star datebase i see for the PIC767 a download option called AIO=All in one datebase.Is this also avail for PMDG datbase or does the PMDG 737 contains the hole datebase???Ramon.

HelloJust on a flight from LGAV to EGLL with the FP:PIKAD UR193 GARTA UV62 YNN UM77 CONTE UL613 DIDOR UT420 ALESOI noticed UL613 is not progammable in FMC ("Invalid Entry"), so I suspected the published FP is 0311-based and used FSBuild with AIRAC 0312 to create a routing. The FSBuild created routing isn't programmable in the FMC (0312) as well - there seems to be a discrepancy between FSBuild 0312 airways and 0312 FMC airways... What ever I tried, I never got the FMC to accept an airway, even showing the airways in FBSBuild and try to assemble a FP manually - either "Invalid Entry" or "Not in Database" is displayed. NEBVER had ANY problems with my new SAITEK joystick (latest drivers too) with the first version of the 737. Now that I have SU2, anytime I have the A/P engaged - the SLIGHTEST quick motion on the joystick will automatically disconnect VNAV & usually will disconnect LNAV. Anyone know why? I NEVER had this problem on the old version! Not only that- in the old version - once I hit the autopilot, the joystick used to have absolutely no ability to input ANY control - in other words, in the old version of the plane, no matter WHAT I did to the joystick, it effected absolutely NO input whatsoever on the aircraft as long as the autopiolt was engaged. Are you interested in a program, where you copy to clipboard the lat/lon from navdata for fixes and the program will automatically convert them to SID/STAR deg minsec format ready to be pasted?

When I cleaned up my PMDG folder (Where I downloaded all my files) from older installations, I found a .zip file named PMDG_Procedures.zip and when I looked in to it it was around 2000 airports with SID/STAR. Anyone else that found this?CheersJohan "Whats VNAV?!?!" Adolfsson

Am I supposed to be able to enter joystick data if the autopilot is on? With the old version of the 737, when I put the A/P on, it used to very nicely disable the ability of the joystick to effect changes on the aircraft heading & pitch. Now, with the new install, I can still control pitch & heading & try to overide the brain of the A/P. The problem is that the SLIGHTEST change with the joystick keeps disabling LNAV, VNAV, heading & altitude on the A/P. If I turn off the force feedback effects, the problem seems to be lessened, but i want to use the Force Feedback feeling on the joystick.Anyone know if this is a normal condition? Hi all!I just want to tell you that I came from the A3xx series and had some more or less serious problems getting used to the Boeing 737 system. Especially handling the FMC features along with pilot input during the descend and approach phase of the flight. Altough the FMC (MCDU) is different, basically it's the same steps you have to do pre-flight - not a real problem here. After lots of missed approaches ("why isn't it doing this automatically!!?") and other minor hick-ups I think I got used to the Boeing system finally. I'm still not mastering all the FMC features (Missed approaches, Holds, etc.), but I'm now able to go from A-B and manage to land this bird! It handle…

Hi everybody !Well, i'm making some SID/STAR/IAC files here... The problem is: One of my IACs is SBFZ DELTA 1. In this IAC, all the navigation is rellated to the FLZ VOR ( FLZ - 114.10 ), but, if i put " NAVAID FLZ " into the .txt file, FS recognizes FLZ as NDB, not as VOR ! Yes, both have the same name, FLZ :(Oh, please, don't suggest me to insert the geographic coordenates instead of the NAVAID name... I need of the FLZ VOR because, in this IAC, there are some waypoints rellated to FLZ VOR radials etc etc...Please, help me guys !Tks in Advance !!! :)

Hello, if have a big problem with the MCP. I have done three flights with the SU2 so far. On the first flight, everything went well. But yesterday I set up a flight from KJFK to KSEA. I programmed the FMC like always. My problem: The whole MCP doesn't react!! First the TOGA mode didn't work and even if I'm in the air and set the VNAV and LNAV nothing happens. I can also set HDG or ALT, nothing happens! I can fly on, as if nothing had happend. (control the aircraft with my joystick)The autopilot does not take control of the aircraft. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, because on my first flight everything went well.Can anyone help me? Thanks.Regards Semmel

Goodevening all,I might have stambled in a small Bug.Trying to put ALM276/15 in the LEGS page I get the page to select a NAVAID (There are more than one ALM in navdata) but there is no navaid to choose. I get a black page with 1/0 on the top right hand corner.From the fix page the entry was succesful.I have tryied also with KAS which are only 3 KAS in the navdata with he same resultChris MakrisAthens Greece

Good Afternoon Guys,At the moment the Boeing 737 series 600 shares the same virtual cabin as the 700 (size wise).I was wondering that when the 800 & 900 series is introduced, would the cabin be updated?I guess I notice more because I am a flight attendant and I totally love the detail that PMDG has given to the VCabin.Thanks for your helpKimberly :-outta

Hi I have a saved flight with SU2 that runs ok but whenever I try to select the PMDG from any other flight (Standard Meigs) or any other situation I have a FS2002 error message and breakdown ????? Any Ideas??And could someone repeat which 4 files should be added to older freeware liveries?

First of all I must add my appreciation of this update, fantastic work, thank you, thank you.I'm not sure how to cancel an SID altitude restriction in the FMC. Just deleting it seems to remove every speed/altitude entry from all the rest of the waypoints and so remove any possibility of using VNAV.Second the light on the APP switch goes out after glide slope capture, is this correct?John
