As part of my checklist, I turn on the F/D prior to engine start. I've discovered that after some period of time , it turns off. I don't know if I've done something or not.I changed the checklist, and turned it on during the taxi checks, only to find that when I pushed TOGA it had once again kicked off. Still have no idea when it happened.It's not a real big deal, because know that I'm aware of it, I check it prior to pushing TOGA, and turn it back on if necessary; however, it would be nice to have it stay on.Thanks,James

Love the new 737ng but I'm having some problems:1) I can not get the autoland to work. Once g/s and loc are captured I hit the app and then the 2nd cmd button but the 2nd cmd button does not take. I have read all I can about the subject and can't see what I'm doing wrong. I align myself perfectly with the runway, g/s centered but app and cmd do not take2) the above mentioned usually results in a crash, when my plane crashes so does FS2004, everytime.3) when saving flight info the FMC info does not save? I want to save an approach landing to practice autolands but when I do the FMC info is all gone making the autoland practice harder to do?anyone have any suggestions here…

Sometimes when i open up flight sim the colour of the aeroplane is grey or if i go to the virtual cockpit it is all greay and no gauges are shown any suggestions would be much apreciated.

i was doing a flight today and my engines failed because i forgot to turn on the center pumps and i dont know how to. so what do i do when my main tanks 1 and 2 are close to being depleted. im gonna try to do the flight again except ill take the 6:30 am flight, hopefully ill be able to wake up in time.adamYou cant truley understand flying until you have actually tasted and felt it.

Hi!I'm just curious, what does the WIND CORR setting on the APPROACH REF page of the FMC do? I can't find this mentioned anywhere, does it have something to do with headwind / tailwind correction during the approach? rgrds/fredrik granfors (ESGG!)

hello guysfirst off, the download was a charm, the installation was a charm, the first flight was a charm, all others were also a charm :)in short; this product is amazing.I've noticed the waypoint entry methods are only partially modelled, as i can enter a "place bearing/distance (e.g. BUB010/5", "place bearing/place bearing (e.g. BUB180/HUL270)", "along track displacement (e.g. if BUB is an onroute waypoint: BUB/-10 or BUB/10)" but the lat & long entry (e.g. N4252.8W07855.3) is not accepted...(always gives not in database)Was this not modelled or is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?i'd really like to know as i do use this quite often to draw lines marking turb…

hi guysafter that a made a few flight, i must say, that i am having fun flying this 737. a few bug that i noticed.not major problems but should be fixed1. when going for first time into OH panel, ignition switch default position is "IGN L". should be on "BOTH"2. Speedbrakes: if you deploy speedbrakes in the air, you cannot reset them by pressing key assignment. you have to use the Throttle view to put them down. 3. Speedbrakes in "armed" isn't showing on panel. light isn't green (see attachment for referen)4. LOC/GS captured, APP light lits, however it should be on. Hello all,first of all: Congratulations to the PMDG team for their smooth working SU2 737NG.Secondly: You know, although something like the 737NG works as good as perfect, You always will find mistakes. My critics ist not for weakening the great performance of this aircraft.1. For arming the speedbrakes for me "shift-/" does not work any longer. I have to arm them in the throttle panel by mouse clicks.2. For example, when doing touch-and-go-exercises or when doing a second flight without any pausing of FS, the altitude callouts are not to hear.Am i doing something wrong ?Some help would be greatly appreciated.Regards,Wolfgang

Does anyone know of a good fuel planner for the 737NG?Phoenix simulation as a good one for the A330-340 series.I wonder if PMDG as one or will come out with a similar one.

can someone please tell me how much fuel i will need for a flight from KLGA to KIAH, departing at 12:30 and arriving at 3:25, i think the first time is eastern and the second is central, and also from KIAH to KPHX, departing at 5:50 and arriving at 7:40. ill be using the 737-700 with 128 passengers, anda ZFW of 120456 lbs. thanks alot.adamYou cant truley understand flying until you have actually tasted and felt it.

Guys-Has anyone come up with key assignments which work for TURNS with the Pushback command Shift+P? When using Radar Contact, as soon as you press 1 or 2 after Shift+P it activates the Radar Contact radio command 1 or 2. I haven't checked what available key assignment could be substituted yet as, frankly, I'm hoping someone else has already solved the problem!Thanks-

Hi, PMDG FlyersDuring night flights is a little difficult for me to see the knobs and keys in the overhead panel and throttle pad. The panel background lights are OK. After going into SLEW mode and returning to real time my engines shut down. I tried this with the default 737 and same thing only just the left engine quit. I figure it must be a config problem but I can't seem to find anything. Looking for any clues.Thanks,Dick Curtis

When I'm using FSMeteo it happens quite often that the winds, pressure, clouds etc... change (almost) constantly when flying over certain areas. I suspect that has to do with my settings of FSMeteo and FSUIPC. Is there anyone out there that solved this problem and is willing to share his/her setting of both programs with me?Thanks in advance.

I was scrolling through the Liveries, and Noticed a LOW Rating on the EL-AL Livery. Can anyone tell me why that might be? Or is is likt the Southwest one, People don't like the way it looks and give it a low rating, DESPITE the fact that the Livery is BANG on like the Real one?Comments are appreciated.
