Hi there!I have noticed some things when using the 737NG: Sometimes, the instruments freeze up and I have to change view (like looking around with the HAT and then back to the main panel) to get them working again.Another "problem" that I have is that the speedbrakes, just in FS2002, are not automaticly deployed at tochdown, even if I had armed them before. Last but not least, in FS2004, when you change to the overhead view, you see that the overhead is behind the main panel. I have the click SHIFT+2 to get the main panel out so I can see the entire overhead, which is quite anoying :(.Any of you guys have this problems? Thanks!

Not sure I understand the logic behind the SOURCE OFF lights on the overhead Elec panel...From a dead ship, I start the APU. I then select, say, the APU Gen switch on the left to ON. The SOURCE OFF light on the left extinguishes, but the one on the right doesn't (even though the Right Transfer Bus has power). There is only one APU Generator and one Aux Power Breaker on the 737NG.Is there some obscure logic behind this? The 767 has a similar electical system, but the 767 panel layout/indications seem way more sensible.Thanks.Cheers.Ian.

Hi,Peter Dowson makes it clear that complex panels such as the NG make the use of 2-key commands very difficult:"... Worse, however, are those complex add-on panels which continuously send several FS controls, many times per second. ... There's almost no chance of getting two normal keystrokes accepted and actioned by FS without one or more of those unwanted controls intervening." Is there any chance that the next version of the 737 could use a single-key command (e.g., tailhook or wing-fold) to open and close the cargo doors?ThanksCharlie

Hi!I orderd the 1900, and realized after I hit the submit transaction I entered the wrong e-mail address. Therefore, I am obviously not able to receive the aircraft. Any ideas?

Can anyone provide some tips on why my VNAV button will not operate? I've entered the route/legs including spd/alt settings per the instructions. LNAV operates properly; I'm sure I've missed something... I've also received "crz alt unable" (or close to that), though in the last case it was only set for 10500. ??

I know there were some recent posts about the Beech engine sounds and how there was a break in one of the wav files causing a skipping sound. I've been having this problem since I got it and was wondering if there has been any word on this being fixed. It occurs for me during cruise flight and it is a very noticable skip sound every 4 seconds. Unfortunately, it has prevented me from flying it much. Hopefully a fix is in process?? Thanks!!Eric

Hi everybody!I've just enabled the option to display the flap position on the upper EICAS (or CAWS - think it's only a CAWS on the 737NG)...my question: I've never seen this option on any aircraft, so is this a real carrier-option or just an PMDG-extra?Thanks for any replies,Best regards,Stefan Bergert

Hi all,I have some problems during take-off (Flaps 5 take-off). The normal procedure is to let the engines come up to 40% and after that engage the TO/GA button. You hear the pilot calling '80kts' 'V1' 'VRotate' and 'V2'.After hearing Vrotate you pull the stick and the aircrafts nose is in the air. When there is positive rate of climb gear up and set speed on V2+20kts. And there is my problem. When I'm just airborne my speed goes far above the V2+20. To get it back to this V2+20 I need to reduce the N1 to 70%. And I think that's not the way it has to be. To hold this V2+20 just after take-off I have to pull very hard, and climbing with a vertical speed around 4000ft.Is th…

I'm gonna enjoy this one for a long time to come!!!Would you ever consider updating it and making a more complex panel? Just curious. Keep it up!!!!!!:-jumpy

Actually, just checked the source file, looks like this anomoly slipped past us before release and is an odd result of converting the source image to 8 bit. So dont go nuts right now, your install is fine.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

Hi fellow simmers!Forgive me for posting a question here which isn't 100% PMDG related (even though I DO fly a PMDG 737NG), but I know how many knowledgeable persons that are in this forum and I hope someone can give me a hand with this one.My problem is with the ServInfo gauge and changing voice channels in AVC using ServInfo's 'Tune' button. For some reason whenever I press the 'Tune' button and have it set to also change voice channels I get an error dialog box in Windows saying the file cannot be found. The error dialog box doesn't say which program is giving the error message nor does it say WHAT file it cannot find. Changing ATC and voice channels using the standard…

I finally found the time this weekend to try this tutorial. Everything went fine until I got to the descent stage, when I got an 'UNABLE NEXT ALT' error in the FMC which I couldn't fix, thereby failing to descend in time to land at KORD. I have three questions:1. Why do you have to change the descent profile in the FMC - I thought the FMC was supposed to work this out itself?2. What did I do wrong?3. I could not get rid of 'UNABLE NEXT ALT' in the scratchpad, so I couldn't fix the problem. How do you get rid of this?I am using the latest update. Thanks for any help. If these questions have been asked before, I apologise, but a search hasn't found the answers (although at l…

Hi, just a quick Q. When the TOGO switch is pressed is there a visual que on the panel or light of sorts that lets you know that TOGO is active?I do not see anywhere on the panel where I can reference this.Regards,Tom Stewart

Dear Sirs,How does the 737NG compare to the Airbus A320 in the event of an engine failure at V1? For example in the airbus after passing the acceleration altitude and accelerating to the green dot you can engage the autopilot and it will fly the SID for you. How does the 737NG compare; does the yaw damper take care of the rudder inputs? Finally, would PMDG ever create interactive checklists? Personally I find them very immersing, I have only found this

Something interesting about which I heard very little speaking of.. Flying online with a second person... like pilot and copilot.. :)possibly while appearing online on VATSIM... If I'm not wrong only "Tornado" made this possible a long time ago by null-modem cable... Any ideas about the possibilities of such a mode? Thanks, Luca

Hello there,i was wondering wether anyone had noticed that the usingthe LNAV mod, the Auto Pilot doesnt follow correcty the pathif waypoints are more than 100nm distanced. On short flights, like 1.30 hour, it's ok since waypoints onrnav routes arent usually less than 40nm away from each other. But, if you try some long distance flight over ocean for instance,if you want to perform a transatlantic flight, then you go from10 degrees to 10 degrees, which is 600nm...It will then get away from the route.I was thinking about this because even with such long distances, the FMS should follow the patch better than it does. When the 747-400 will come out, this question will have to be …

I am looking to see if anyone else has had trouble with the FD and AP when used with Jetline2. When I try to capture a VOR radial the FD constantly wants to turn to the left. The CDI can be hand flown and followed, but the FD still wants to turn to the left. I can get it to recognize localizers in the APP mode (however very touchy) My questions are:1) is the nav on the AP/FD actually a working device in 1900s?2) has anyone else experiance this?I have submitted these questions on the RXP forum as well, but thought I might find someone here with an answer also. Not a big deal because it is so great to hand fly, but it makes potty breaks a little easier when the winds are he…
