Anyone else take notice to the minor details on the new 737 NG's lights? Boeing has given the NG that "big jet" look by creating strobe and anti-collision light patterns that are slower and synchronized. The old "classic" 737's had a strobe pattern with different flash patterns. Anyway, I think the new pattern is really cool, which brings me to my question. Is there a way that the strobe patterns could be enhanced to duplicate this real-world pattern, or is this a FS limitation? Thanks! Aaron

Having really old eyes, I would appreciate PMDG considering providing a blowup version of the HSI. Good examples are in the PSS Airbus and Blaisdell Dash6. A simple click on the gauge makes it about twice as large and much easier to read. Another click returns it to its panel position. I can read most of the gauges all right, but the HSI is a challenge.Thanks.

I was flying from LAS to SAN and noticed that the LNAV would not follow the plotted path...The approach was then impossible and I had to fly it by hand, then i noticed that I was flying way off course and the map showed a major deviance!Look at this rwy shot, I have just landed and I am almost aligned with the SAN rwy 09 but as you can see the map shows something completely different...I have been flying the PMDG for several months now in Europe with out any flaws...Anyone got a clue??http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/63646.jpg

There are several panel.cfg available for each possible combination, thanks to PMDG talented integration of both products. Could it be this was the wrong panel.cfg you used?Jean-Luc

I often use both COM's when I fly online and there is not much VATSIM traffic in the area. On COM1 I am on 122.80 with SquawkBox and on COM2 I am with AI ATC. For more info. on this check Chris Makris's (Olympic260) reply here :http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...1&topic_id=1783Therefore I needed the Audio Panel in the PMDG Radio Stack to be able to select what I hear and where I transmit.Open your PMDG 737NG panel.cfg files in repsective PANEL folders and add this in the Radio Stack window.gauge01=KingAir_Radio!Audio, 345, 420... so it should look like this :gauge00=PMDG_737NG_Main!RadioStack, 0, 0, 600, 540gauge01=KingAir_Radio!Audio, 345, 420http://forums…

I usually get my FP from FBOweb and just enter them manually. I have a question on some of the entries. I usually skip over some parts and I have no problems during the flight. I though though I would ask for a little help. Can anyone tell me where to enter some numbers?I do not know where to enter the JST096, HAR281 part. I know JST and HAR are VOR's along the BUNTS1 STAR but I do not know where the numbers go in the FMC. Ifigure this might take a real pilot or someone who really is up on real world flight plans. Hi, first 737NG rocks!!!! Now, I know you have optional failures included which is great but is there any way for you to make it more interesting and have some kind of master switch which will include all of the failures together and also take more time to kick in. For example you can read oil pressure and oil quantity but it

Hi all.I just want to enquire about the 747. The 737NG was an amazing project, better than any other for the FS airliner market and the 744 looks amazing too! I was a bit disappointed with the lack of a pedestal panel in the 737 however. Will you be doing one for the 744? It will make the project complete. Flight1 are doing a complete pedestal for the ATR, and even PSS do this panel!I doubt it would take too much effort because the FMC is just a copy of the other two, and the radio and audio panels are just replicated three times. I admit I know nothing about computer programing but surly an audio panel would not be too hard to make? Plus of course you have the seatbelt …

Hi Dears,Once again, a topic on this graphic card, the Radeon 9800XT.I bought the card the day after I bought the PMDG 737NG.I'm simming since 1988, with FS3, and I do say loudly never hadI seen such an excellent, outstanding product! For this purpose, I decided to buy the Asus Radeon 9800 XT.The CPU is P4 2.4b, 1Go DDR333, mobo chipset Intel 865P.FS2004 sliders all maxed out, except Mipmaping to 4, and CloudsSight distance to the medium. My fear is: the FPS often drop under 10, on very busy fields -with maxAI 100% -, with some other with Radeon 9800pro get more.I know how complex is the settings in FS9.I ran some bench and got very disappointing results (12000 with 3dmark 2…

Hi Folks,Can someone explain in details the procedure for a crossbleed engine start on the PMDG 737-600/700.On boeings 767 and 777 series the procedure is:APU shut down or APU bleed air switch off, advance thrust on operating engine to 70% of N2 then normal engine start procedure.Does this procedure applies to the 737-600/700?Can it be done with APU on and APU bleed on?which of APU or engine provides for duct pressure?DISCLAIMER:The above reflects only a personal opinion and was written without any intend to offend, harm or criticize in any way or manner any individual, institution, association or company including PMDG.Michael

I have been simming since the mid 80s actually my first pgm was ATP on a IBM PCjr.I have to say I am astonished in the progress in 25 yrs or so on software and hardware development.I am in the business of semiconductors and I have also seen technology advance at a supersonic pace.My point regarding the B1900 is that I am starting to take that approach that simple is better.I love my NG and it was my plane of choice until I started flying the barebone B1900.My flts are shorter from planning to T/O , climb, and Landing and there is alot of fun watching the scenery in flt @ lower altitudes. The plane handles like it is on rails and I would suggest any novice to simming to use …

Hello,I went to install some liveries for the NG737 and ran into a small problem that has also happened to me with the removal tool. When I double click the setup icon the initiate the installation, the setup wizard flashes briefly, then disappears without starting the installation process. This happened to me a while back when I used the removal tool. I finally got it to work, but it took me numerous tries double licking various ways until it finally took off and installed. I have tried downloading the liveries again with no luck. The first one installed after about 7 tries of double clicking. Has anyone else ran into this? I can't think of anything that would be cau…

Does anyone know how to disable the basic guage display option when one cycles through the panel / no panel views using the default 'w' key ? In other words, when I press 'w' I only want to cycle between panel, and no panel (avoiding the third basic guages view).Am I making sense ?Thanks,Paul

Bonjour,In the descent and approach checklist we have to check the altimeter, so I think it can only be done after the transition level. As this transition level is different for each country does it means the timing for this checklist is related to the place where we land. Can anyone give me a clue ?merciClaude Troncy

Is anyone else running PMDG 737NG with multiple monitors? I just installed two Nvidia 16MB PCI cards in my system to display the overhead (left monitor) FMC and Throttle Quadrant (right monitor). Main panel is runnning on Center Monitor on the Radeon 9800 Pro. I experience very predictable stuttering in both video and sound when I have Overhead, Throttle and FMC displayed. When I close them, it's smooth as glass. I ran the same set up on my old system (Windows 2000 Professional) and never had the stuttering problem. I'm curious if anyone else is seeing this. I've really gotten used to running my 3-monitor set up. I've tried the suggested tweaks and am also running …
