Is the 737NG VC clickable in FS2k4, or is it static like 2k2 VCs are?

Hello...I'm just kinda curious, my 737NG generally performs well, in 2D cockpit, but when I load up the VC and the cabin, all I get are miserable around-7 fps. And when at some seat in the cabin, looking outside, even 5 fps.Is anyone getting here more? Like 15fps or more? And the thing is, I'm not even running some high AA/AF settings, they are merely at 4x/2x (perf.).Thx!

I just wanted to say, I have been reading the forums, and I must state the following. If you read the pages describing the Beech 1900D, nowhere is it stated that the complexity level is that of the 737 600-700. It is a easy to fly aircraft at a good price. The bugs with the sound will be fixed. The lack of workable dials in the cockpit is GREAT!!! Again, a simple plane to fly. This is what the site states:This is the first product to be released under the new PMDG Express brand. PMDG Express products feature tremendous visual detail, active virtual cockpits and high fidelity flight models at an affordable price. The PMDG Express B1900 is certain to become the shor…

I noticed the virtual cabin is only set up with fifteen seats.... Curious as why the cabin wasn't modelled with the full nineteen seats seen in most of the commuter fleets.... I always hated the first and last row of the 1900--the first, since it was forward of the frontmost cabin window, and the last row since it'd be my dumb luck with the tight connections my employer loved to put me on, that I'd be stuck with my 200 lb+ presence between two others of similar build...The virtual cabin looks nice, regardless...

Hi, enjoying as always your beautiful 737NG! But today when I for the first time thought I could activate the Virtual Cockpit I got this panel :) Not the fanciest of them all :D Well I took a screenshot so you can see how it looks:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/62269.jpgSorry for the large picture! Just wanted you guys to really see the cockpit :DCheersJohan "Whats VNAV?!?!" Adolfsson

Hi,I've read through the many posts regarding the difficulty that so many users are having opening and closing the cargo doors on the 737. Like the others, at best, I can get the darn thing to open only once in twenty tries using any of the suggested "fixes". I simply do not have this problem with other aircraft (freeware or payware). What is it about the PMDG product that makes its response to this command so different? I know that this is such a small defect when considering the overall superior quality of the product, but it would sure be great to find a real solution.Charlie

Check the documentation and verify that you have the RXPJetline2.ini file in the correct directory (different for FS2002 and FS2004) and that you are using the corresponding panel.cfg file (again different for FS2002 and FS2004). Then the pop-up should work!Re the default setup.. there is not much room to make them bigger, but you can edit the panel.cfg file and see if it looks better to you..

I have a strange problem with the B1900D on my system. My system is a AMD 1.4 GHZ, video card is Gforec 3 (64 MB), and operating system is XP.I have about 30 airplanes that I can choose from, the B1900d is one of them. At first, after selecting the B1900D, FS9 starts up without any problems. Sometime during the flight I start using the "S" key to select other views. Then, all of a sudden my system freezes. There is no forward motion of the airplane over the ground. The frame counter is frozen showing mabe 13 FPS, but nothing except engine sound is happing. My keyboard is frozen, I can not change the view (S-key) ETC. If I wait several minutes (maybe 3), it un-free…

Hi there, was just curious if anyone could do a repaint for the 1900D? I realize that they are C models, but would be nice to have it repainted so I can do some flying up in AK with the 1900.here is the link to FFS's home page which has a good pic of the C model they fly at the top of the page:http://www.frontierflying.com/index.htmland here is one for the ACE Website and a good pic of the C model they fly:http://www.aceaircargo.com/aircraft.html

Hi folks! I've been driving around in my B1900 for a couple of days now, a FANTASTIC plane! As I've been panning around it in spotview looking at the great exterior, I've been thinking about all the extra wings at the rear of the plane. First you have the ordinary hstab, then the small extra fins going down from it, plus a lower set of hstab looking wings PLUS the "learjet" style fins at the bottom, I hope you get what I mean! It seems that it must be some kind of serious aerodynamic problems with the a/c when it needs all this extra stuff, or?? Does anyone out there know the story behind it? I'm just curious! rgrds/fredrik granfors

I was so favorably impressed with the 737, that I was delighted to purchase the new B1900D. I am a bit surprised why there is so much praise for this one, as it has very odd sounds at times ( I LOVE the sounds in the 737--you r there!), and there is so little in the way of features, using mostly default gauges here and there. The price is right though. I think it performs well because it isn't that much more complex than the default aircraft, save a prettier VC, though with little function.Noel

Greetings all,I've been trying several times to find the best sofware & tuning to make little movies, or to take screenshots with the PMDG737.I did not find so far a good solution. Here's my tests and findings :*ScreenshotsTaking a simple screen with the 'print screen' key stroke is easy and it works. Nevertheless, i tried other software to avoid to return to windows by alt-tab and save the clipboard picture.I tried :-Scrshotmanager (from Berlin)-Fraps-HyperSnap-DX4Scrshotmanager and Fraps give good results BUT, cockpit views are either blurred, or with colors totally messed up. Some are even like in 'negative' color display. I could not find out why. All external view…

I had posted this in another thread but thought I would give it another go. What do you all think about this flight:Fly from KBFI (Boeing Field) (for obvious reasons) and fly down the coast to the Los Angeles ARTCC. You all can pick San Diego (payware scenery from Fly-San Diego) or Las Vegas or Los Angeles (both have payware from Simflyers and a good freeware of LAX here at Avsim). It would be a good 2.5hr long flight. I assure you that you will get some of the best ATC on VATSIM in the Los Angeles ARTCC and Oakland as well as Seattle Centers are top notch as well. You all can call it the "PMDG Pacific Coast Cruise". If multiple legs are what everyone wants, we could thro…

I am trying to install the ground handling gauge into PMDG's 737. I followed the instructions in the readme for the gauge but it doesn't show up. Has anyone else installed this gauge into the 737 panel. If so can you tell me how I can do it. Thanks.

I see that 64MB is given on the download page. When I downloaded the B1900, I got to less than 30MB and the download stopped (completed). It seemed to install OK, although it sounds just like the KA350 when at full power (kind of like a buzz saw), and am wondering if there was a sound package that didn't for some reason get downloaded??Thanks- and great aircraft too!!Bruce.

Lefteris, Can you give us an update on the panel?:( We know that the visual model is just superb and we know that you are working on the panel. Can you let us know if you are in the home stretch, or are you somewhere in the middle. I know the standard answer for weather, "If you are able to model it correctly", are you going to be able to model it correctly? And last but definately not least can you give us just a little teaser of the new panel with the TCAS and clasic displays. Thank you so much, and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi Robert and Gang,I was just wondering, since you are offering the EFIS/Map display in the 800-900, can you also make the MCP in the Collins(I think??) style, the one with the whitish blue windows. I think even the layout is a bit different to the present one. Since we have the choice of Display for Flight Instuments, do you think it is possible to have the choice of MCP style as well if you decide to do this style of MCP?Guys, also if you need any Flight deck shots of the 700/800, my friend who is a Capt. with Jet Airways has got my camera. I can ask him for any close-up, angle, guage, area, etc... Just list it out for meHere is a link to the photo:http://www.airliners…

I have both FS2002 and FS9, and I discovered on my system that the panel.cfg for FS2002 references a file "simicons1024" for the fuel icon, and this was not displaying on the panel. In FS9 there is a simicons1024.cab file, but I do not have it in FS2002. I have solved the problem by copying the cab fileinto the FS2002 gauges folder, but I am wondering if this is minor bug in the panel.cfg file?
