Hi guys,I was wondering if I could put in 2 requests for the upcoming 800-900. Sorry for bugging you in the eleventh hour.1. Can we have a configuration editor, so that we can choose the seating layout to our specs? XX number of seats for business, XXX number of seats for Economy. For example, as I will only be flying the Jet Airways livery, I would like to configure the seating as 28/126 like the real a/c.2. A seperate model file which will get rid of the control coloumn in VC mode? It overlaps the FMS control unit and I find it hard to input data as some of the keys are not visible and a portion of the screen is obscured as well.Hopefully you could incorporate this in t…

Can someone tell me the function of the radio altimeter in the 737NG? I seem to remember it has something to do with me decision height, as when I used to fly the PMDG 777, I used to set it for me Decision Height (I think)? Also, is there a way to have the 737 automatically call out "MINIMUMS" at the correct (as per published approach plate)decision height (Like I think it does in a real 737)?Thanks.Chris Catalano

The Bulfer manual tells us that the APU "LOW OIL PRESS" light illuminates during start until the APU oil pressure is normal. However, the Boeing Wiring Schematics I have show that the light is inhibited below 95% and then adds a 20 second time delay for the pressure to rise. This seems to indicate that you will never see the LOW OIL PRESS light unless there is actually a problem with the APU (or perhaps the oil is extremely cold???).Are there any variations between NG APU logic? Have any real pilots/engineers seen this light illuminate during a normal start?Thanks.Cheers.Ian.

What is the best way to set up for fly by hand? I've been starting at the airport then drag the plane to a particular area: setup direction, altitude, speed then stabilize the plane and proceed from there. If I'm 50 miles out I'll setup the MCP, then disengage A/P 10 miles out and hand fly the remanider. The problem occurs after disengaging A/P and A/Thrtl. The flight controls feel unresponsive; not nearly enough deflection. This is probably something I'm not doing right. John Franklin

The Configure 'Services' section of FS Autostart was quite easy to figure out and accomplish, however, the next section is quite baffling to say the least. It lists a 'PROGRAMS' section to be completed with a listing of the following programs which I have no clue as what to do and I'm wandering if someone can tell me which ones I should 'No Action', 'Stop', or 'Leave Running'..The programs listed in this section are:AOlTray.exediagent.exeDirectcd.exeDLG.exeDSentry.exeExplorer.exemm_Tray.exeMSMSGS.exeMWSOEMON.exeNavapw.exeNotifyalert.exeQttask.exe Realplay.exeSupport.exeWKCALREM.exeWZQPICK.exeAlso, what do you change on the next section of FSAutoStart configurations sectio…

Dear PMDG support team,Currently, I am reinstalling my FS2004 partition, to have a clean installation. I was installing PMDG but figured out, that I have never saved the service update 1.2. Now, when I try to install service update 1.2 - 1.3, it tells me, that I do not have version 1.2 installed, which is confirmed in the aircraft.cfg, where it states version 1.1. Can you help me with this problem? Thanks and best regards, Mark van Wissen

When trying to land a large plane like the 737, what point on the runway should the pilots eyes be focused on - the threshold, the very far end, etc? In short, what do you use to line up the plane - I heard when you taxi you are supposed to look all the way down the taxiway to line things up - is it the same for landing?Chris Catalano

Hi AllLove PMDG 737, has anybody used either flight deck companion or fshotseat, I would like to know which one is the better. are there any real 737 pilots, I would like to know if knowing the PMDG 737 package and being able to fly it well would assist with a real 737 type rating which I am going to do as soon as i can afford, thanks for you help. I am a commercial pilot and will probably never be an airline pilot so can think of nothing better than being able to master a real 737 Sim, hey its only money.RegardsWayne

I have a problem which seems to be created by PMDG 737NG. I am unable to save a flight at anytime. FS9 stops responding whenever I ask it to save a flight or load a saved flight. I am attempting to create a default flight for startup with cold & dark a/c at EGLL (my airport of choice). Not that saving will work anyplace else or with any other a/c. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me.JohnCaptainBAW317:-beerchug

I'm trying to set up Flight Deck Companion (FDC) to use with the 737NG aircraft. I can handle the checklist creation/editing, but I don't have the required info for setting up the performance file tables for takeoff/cruise/landing (flap settings for different weights/speeds). Was wondering if any of you have been able to locate the required info or have possibly set up the FDC files and would be willing to share with those of us who are "technically challenged".Everything else is so realistic that it seems a shame not to get the FDC flap calls in sync with those shown on the PMDG speed tape. Thanks for any help/advice.Phil Lankford

I've been a customer of PMDG since September of 2003. Recently, I've undergone a few format processes, etc. I have saved the confirmation email and had tried the URL and it says that it's invalid. Why is this?Secondly, do the Service Updates fix problems with FPS, etc? I have a 2.26GHz, 768mb DDRAM, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and it doesn't run too well (the NG that is). I'm thinking of upgrading to a dual channel 1.5 Gigs of ram or something, because I think that's my problem.Does the 738 give a better performance than the 600 and 700 737NG?Thanks in advance, and I'm a true proud customer of PMDG and always will be. My hats are off to you and the team.

Hi,I'm a little confused here. I do all my final approaches manually (its just more fun that way). Once I have the field in site, and I am less than 5NM away, I disconnect the autopilot and the autothrottle and fly her in nicely....However, I understand that some of you will leave the autothrottles on and just use the yoke to control the movement, while the autothrottles maintain your VREF speed. My question is this: If you leave the autothrottles on, I know that they are automatically disconnected when you touch down. But that means that you will be flying into the tunway with the engines spooled up to maintain airspeed during the flare. Aren't you supposed to bring the …

Hi,On the product preview page you tell us, that the 738/9 will be available only for FS2004 (I can understand that) and Windows XP (that's what I cannot understand). Why should the use of the 738/9 be limited to Windows XP users? Is there some need for special technology (other than gdi-plus) that can be provided by WinXP only? Thanks for a quick answer,Robert Lechneredit:By the way: I just saw, that you mention the 737 NG base product would also be limited to Windows XP. I am using it with Windows 2000 without any problems. Maybe the information given on your product page is a bit misleading.

Hi;I understand that 19 passengers is the maximum number passengers for the Beech 1900D, but how do I load; say, 7 or 14, for example?I know that the numbers are determined in the >AIRCRAFT >Fuel and Payload section of FS9 but the default number is not made in numbers; but rather, in pounds. I believe the default number of pounds is 1640.Is 170 lbs the number of each passenger? For instance the DC-3 has a list in "Change Payload":Pilot - 170 lbsCo-Pilot - 170 lbsPassenger(s) Row 1 - 680 (when divided by 4 = 170 lbs per passenger)Passenger(s) Row 2 - 680Etc.Etc.Etc.The PMDG Beech 1900 D has, in "Change Payload" the following:Pilot - 170 lbsCo-Pilot - 170 lbsPassengers…
