Hello fellow PMDG addicts ...I decided to install the popular ground handling (pushback and taxispeed) guages, and I love 'em, but I thought it would be better to have the guages integrated into one of the existing secondary panels instead of having them just float on the screen. I decided to put them either on the overhead or on the radio stack, since I didn't want them visible on the main panel. I decided on the radio stack since that made the most sense, since you use the intercom to communicate with the pushback crew.Anyway ... Hi,i have a question about putting in the flightplan into the FMC. Have i first to put in the Interesection and then the Airway, or first the airway and then the intersection?My second question is, where to put in the top of climb point? About how many miles. My Plane climb always with high climb rates, about 4000ft/m, this is too much, how can i lower it without disarming the VNVAV Mode?Regards,Peter

Folks, I fly the PMDG 737 almost exclusively using the CH Flightstick Pro and CH Pro pedals. Yes, old stuff but they work well.Would some of you more experienced simmers using similar equipment be able to give me some ideas on what button assignments work well for you flying the 737. I feel that I could be getting some more benefit out of the old CH Flightstick with better assignments.Currently I have it set up as:Hatswitch - outside pan view'Trigger' - brakeButton left - flaps downButton centre - flaps upButton right - well nothing yet!!Throttle wheel - I use only on taxi as it appears more accurate than keypresses.Yep, not too creative. This is probably a daft question but I have a problem with the FMC.I can export a flight plan from FSNAV to the FMC no problem, but after taking off and pressing the auto pilot button the FMC reads "NO ACTIVE ROUTE". The EXEC button is high lighted and on the RTE page I have 6 pages of waypoints visible. I cant think of anything else. (I did press the activate flightplan as well when asked by the FMC).Any help would be appreciated..

Hello again PMDG team...I was wondering if the APU Fuel Logic was defenitely out of the 737NG Series??

Have just purchased 737 NG 600/700.Am using Windows 98 and installed as per instructions but......I am sure that when I first flew, the A/T arm switch and Yaw damper could be used but now when I switch A/T on it goes back into the off position and the annunciator panel flashes A/T PRST.Also the Yaw damper can be switched on but goes off after a few seconds.Any suggestions?Many thanksJohn

Hello to all, I love the PMDG 737NG,everything goes pretty fine, exept I noticed when im flipping the knobs and switches on the overhead panel while engines running I get a small sound disturbance onto the engine sound very short.(u hear engines run, flipping a knob-->small crack in engine sound, when flipping switches on the main panel I dont have it)Also installed the newest sounddrivers.My soundcard is the onboard one from ASUS P4P800 Deluxe.(Soundmax)Should I place a Soundblaster 5.1 or Audigy 2? Hi all, I have a few repaints for the PMDG 737. I am trying to get two texture files into one model. When i change the Variation in the aircraft config file to the texture setting one of the liveries will not show up. Good day all, This is going to sound silly, but I can't use my CH peddels to work the rudder on my PMDG737 in flight. It works great while on the ground. At first I thought that this was a CH product problem, but after loading other aircraft, it works just fine for them in flight. :-hmmm I have finally gotten good enough at flying this great bird with out auto help, and would like to have my rudders back without having to go back to checking "coordinated flight " in the FS9. Hello everu=yone,I have been reading a lot of topics in a lot of forums regarding GF compatibility and PMDG and here is what I can do:Using the PMDG assignement keys and FSUIPC (I have the latest registered version) I am able to assign all the MCP ON/OFF functions to gofilght pushbuttons (GFP8), ie: VS HOLD on/off, speed hold on/off ect...thats great.Now I am unable to assign functions to the rotary buttons of the GF45 using the same trick? like alt setting or CRS setting. Apperently some people are able to it...could someone help me on this or point me to the relevant post?many thanks,requin

Hi There,I'am having some problems with the engine sound on the PMDG 600/700 I can hear all the other sounds except for the engines! I have checked the box of the engines in the sound menu even put it on 100% but still no sounds heard. The strange thing is that when I go from 2D panel(where I hear the other sounds only) to the Virtual cockpit I hear nothing at all. Does somebody got the same experience or has anyone got advise? I have got the same problems on other 3 party aircraft and I didn't had this before untill some days agoThanksJarno Deken

Hello I was just wondering if it will possible for your guys to consider painting the Royal Air Maroc (Moroccan Airlines) if you haven't done so allready. Especially since Royal Air Maroc are the biggest operators of the 737 in africa, having models from the 200, 500, 700, 800 and possibly more versions. Following the details in the manual to the letter I seem to be having problems starting up engine 2 - Also engine 1 seems to have a lot of reiginition sequences before firing up (is this normal.Engine 2 will not fire up and I am left to do a auto Cntrl-E start and then reset the overhead to dark before I can continue.If anybody can advise me of my errors Ill be glad to hear.

Just a quick question. Will any of the upgraded avionics supplied in the 800/900 (i.e. the upgraded FMC, for instance) carry through to the 600/700?Jason Barlow

I have the same problem since V1.2. It is never solved for me. What did I do about it? I went back to V1.1 (it's free of that problem) and learned to live in peace with it up to today. (I use CH yoke but that is not the problem).I just wrote PMDG an email asking if the 800/900 trim will act the same way. It would be a REALLY bad news for me if it does. I mean there is no "800/900 version 1.1" to go back to.Sounds like you have tougher luck because you probably bought the product after V1.2 or V1.3 came out so you don't even have V1.1 to get away from the troublesome trim. All I can say is flying without the trim is like driving without power steering...Best luck wit…

I have just installed Version 1.3 of the 737 package. My add-on tool has pointed out that the kneeboard, PMDG737NG_REF.htm, is missing. I can't find it anywhere on my harddrive. Can someone tell me where to get it?Thanks,Joe
