    Hi all,Just a quick post, with the future 747 do you think that it is possible to include a function that automaticaly configures the fuel pumps like the Aerowinx sim did? I ask because a lot of us, myself included, find that 11 to 14 hours sitting in front of a computer is too much. I usualy load the flight and then go out with friends, to work or what ever. The problem is that then there is no one to put tank to engine configuration in place when it comes about!Thanksrichard

    Hello,I know that PMDG is not supporting sid and star, but I hope that Terry yerling will jump on this thread.Since I have upgraded to the last airac cycle, I am experiencing prob on some airport.KMIA for example is the best "example"...I have an error message on the FMC, runway unknown, and of course no sid and star for this given airport.In a previous thread, after a search, I red that I just need to delete the source of error, in this case the runway.     Is there a rule of thumb for maximum altitude settings for a particular distance of a flight? Because of time constraints, most of my flights are probably shorter than 737 real life, usually less than 200 miles. Several times ATC (Radar Contact) has not started my descent until after the FMC TOD. This makes the FMC, and me, a little confused. If I recall correctly, the FMC goes out of CRZ mode into DES mode and the engines start to retard speed. There's probably a fix via the FMC for this, and I may have stopped the problem by not flying so high, but what I am curious about is max altitude height vs. a distance of flight.     After a flight and I land I can seem takeoff again unless I reset the flight. I seem to get the WARNNING beeping and even though I have everything set as I should it activates each time I try to throttle up.     Ok I've got a few questions for you NG pros out there.1. On 2 of the last flights I have done, at T/D, the aircraft begins to descend, but at a very low V/S (500 or less), then, it begins to dive toward the ground at as high as 7000 fpm. It eventually goes to a more normal number, around 2200, but the damage has already been done to the passengers stomachs. :) How do I prevent this?2.     Hope that the title was not too misleading, but here's my question.I am quite familliar with programming the FMC in PMDG 737, but one thing remains a mystery. My issue, Isn't landing at a speed of 240kts a little excessive? I notice that on the legs page during a flight that everything up until the landing procedure for instance and ILS is fine, .780/FL320 for example at cruise, and as I am making my step descent to final, my speed / alt readings on the FMC would be 240/8492 then 180/2500 then on the ILS line, 240/640 what's with the jump from 180 to 240? 180kts is acceptable to land, and the plane stops with moderate runway left at the nose, but 240kts?     Hi fellow Captains,I have the following problem when starting an approach:I have a complete approch path (STAR) to intercept an ILS. As my glidepath comes alive i engage APP. APP Disengages with the FMC message: "RW/APP not tuned" or something like that.My ILS glidepath is alive (vertical) but my localizer (lateral) alignment doesn't seem to work, while i am aligned with the runway but the NAV display says i'm far left of the runway.Then i made my first perfect manual landing ;)What went wrong?     Maybe this is too late to fix? Estry is a waypoint around 10nm away and the FMC is predicting a fuel burn of 3.5 tonnes to reach it!     AlohaPilotHi,I am new here, and I am having difficulty inserting the current GPS position into the FMC during preflight.There are no empty boxes like the real airplane FMC has....on page one of the PosInit page....I grab the current GPS L position, and then find on page one that there is no place to enter it.However, the airplane seems to be at the right airport. Curious.Also, Flap lever movement is difficult, and I have trouble with engaging TOGA.Last, the PFD has a message across the horizon: Target FPS 10..this repeats across the ND and also upper DU.     Hi everybody!Just bought the PMDG737NG and am looking anxiously to learn how to fly her. Since the plane is a totally different ballgame compared to other FS2004 default planes, I was looking to complete the tutorial that is recommended on the PMDG support site. It redirected me to the avsim download screen but then blank. Either the link is broken or the file has been removed. The file I was looking for is the tutorial made by Fred Clausen. I believe the advanced version of that same tutorial is also missing from the avsim site. Anybody know a place where I could get them?     I purchased the PMDG 737NG 600/700 a couple of months ago, and in the last two months have been doing some pretty intensive flying of this wonderful product.     Hi all,Due to the fonts being too small in 1600x1200 mode on the Beech 1900D panel, I decided to follow the advice of others here in the forum and purchase the Reality XP Jet Line 2 guages for the aircraft.     After using the removal tool and reinstalling the pmdg 737NG 600/700 1.3 I get route discs when I use an airway.
