Well, this is certainly a great list of thing to come. I'm very anxious to see this on my system, as is everyone else.With respect to the IRS and radar features, I for one would think it would be ridiculous to make you guys add this before releasing the 800/900. Also, the IRS would be nice to have, but I can't say it's a real concern of mine either way. The radar is even less of a concern, simply because it would eat a lot of frame rates, regardless of how it was programmed or what system it was running on. Most would not be able to run all the new features of the NG with radar for weather and ground terrain. Probably a customer base of 5 - 10 percent at most.So at l…

I have printed out all of the instruction manuals and the performance charts. The Speed Charts for Takeoff Speeds seem to be the only ones that utilize metric weight measurements.I attempted to convert the chart from kilograms to pounds, however, the values are only usable up to 60 kg as the others are outside of the MTOW. Can anyone point me to a V-Speed chart for the -700 which is referenced in pounds?I am also confused as to why the chart shows speeds for weights in excess of 60,000kg (the top three figures 64/68/72) when the MTOW is 60,327kg. If ATC directs me to descend to, lets say FL 110, prior to the VNAV path directing a descent, I think I'm correct in assuming placing 11000 in the MCP altitude and then Descend Now/Execute in the FMC will begin my descent, m while still staying in VNAV mode.Once I level off at FL 110, and then get assigned my next altitude by ATC, what's the procedure to continue the descent?When I tried this yesterday, I was still in VNAV at 110, however, changing the MCP to 6000 didn't begin the next descent, and when I opened up the descent page in the FMC - descend now was no longer available.Am I doing something wrong? Hi!I have fs9 and PMDG installed on a win98 system, but I can't have it work properly. When I start fs I get an error message that says: PMDGOptions.dll can't be loaded or something. And when I try to load PMDG in the flightsim I get serveral errormessages that says that some .GAU or GAUGE files cannot be loaded (this is pmdg gauge files). A month ago, I was running it on win xp, but that worked just fine for me. Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong? I have all available updates for this product.Best regardsJan-ReidarNorway

Is there going to be an external sound effect for the APU, like there was in the Fly! airliners? Or is this not possible in MSFS?Also, since pushback will be fixed, will the problem where the rear exit/cargo doors don't always work be fixed?

I program the FMC with all details and take off for the destination.On this flight I will not use the VNAV only LNAV with ALT, SPEED,etc.Climb is fine but when I reach my FL the speed tape has red barson any speed above 290KIAS.Now is this right? I thought the B737-700 could do cruisingspeeds in excess of 290KIAS. Surely I must be doing something wrong.Any advice much appreciated.

Hello everyone at the PMDG ForumCurrently i have:HP a550e seriesAMD 64 3200+512 MB DDR / PC3200 (1 DIMM) 9800 XT 256 MB160 GB HDWould upgrading to 1 gig of RAM make that much of a difference in FS9, if all your sliders are maxed and are using the PMDG 737 and Fly Tampa Scenery. Hi gents,Tomorrow morning, Transavia airlines from Holland will get a brand new 737-700, PH-XRE.Im planning to fly the delivery flight (I already have the real plans for tonight) but one big problem.There is no paint available for the XRE. And to fly this flight with the XRA is not as real as it gets ;-)So is there somebody out there who can paint the XRE? Since I am the owner of the PMDG 737NG 600/700 I get the following problem after a couple of weeks using it without any problem..When I select the aircraft (PMDG 737NG) and click fly now there is some disk activity. The progress indicator show 0% and after 15 seconds the default XP Error Message appears. After reboot there is the same problem. Other aircraft are working correcly and selecting an other aircraft first and after that the PMDG also results in a crash.Only reinstalling seems to work, hope someone knows a solution..Marcel

Hi all,this is not realate to PMDG but i wanted to get your solutions ideas to this problem that i have. i have been all over the forums and can't find the solution.Basicly after i connect sbrelay to fs9 10-15min during the flight with Vatsim, sbrelay crashes. i have done some tests with fs9 mutiplayer to see it works or not i found out when i open a multiplayer session with fs9, i am unavaible to close multiplayer session anymore fs9 crashes on me.any idea?

hi!Have been scratching my head the whole day. I cannot find out how to switch between magnetic and true heading in the 737 instruments. I'm stuck at magnetic which seems to mess up the display of FMC track and Plane heading.Please help, driving me nuts....Best regardsJoachim

Hi, this is probably for a real world pilot. I am using the chart from the PMDG AOM for "Takeoff Stabilizer Trim Settings" for the 737 700 NG. I have no idea how to calculate %MAC (Mean Aerodynamic Chord) which you would need to use the chart properly. I am assuming that CG (Centre of Gravity) for airfoils differs between aircraft types and models. Currently I use a best guess scenario of 24% as I am aware that around 25% IS A GOOD STARTING POINT. I am wondering if anyone else uses this chart and if so how do you determine the %MAC? In any event I'll continue to use 24% (Best Guess).Regards,Tom Stewart

Hello allI'm using the 737NG with MGsim's excellent 'Milano Arrivals' which basically gives you a selection of flights into different Milan airports with realistic ATC and chatter. Each flight is accessed via the 'select flight' menu and loads up the default 737, but I'd rather fly it with a PMDG 737. This is where the problems begin.Once it's loaded up, I select the PMDG 737 you get a load of failure flags momentarily and then it settles down and once you've set up the autopilot all is well. After a few minutes though the aircraft becomes unresponsive to commands via the MCP, for example climbing instead of descending and not slowing down for lower speeds set in the IAS …

Hello everybody..We need some help on identifying these pedals please.They belong to somebody on www.atcbox.com and he is having trouble hooking up his Joystick (Trust PREDATOR XK 100) and Throttle (PC Flight Force SV242 InterAct Gameproducts).The Joystick wont work untill he has removed his Pedals and Throttle.We are looking for the name of the pedals so he can hopefully get the latest driver for win98SE.
