Hi all,I read a while ago that Aerosoft, whilst having discontinued production of its excellent 747 mcp, were still going to produce some software that would make the mcp compatible with PMDG's 737NG. Aerosoft's site is makes no mention of anything (new) and I'm wondering whether the guys at PMDG are still talking to Aerosoft with regard to producing this software? Anybody know anything?? RegardsJohn Cavanna

Hi everyone,I have a litle graphic problem landing the PMDG 737-700 airplane. The airplane comes about one meter above the ground of the runway and suddenly the next frame the airplane has touched the ground. So I never see a smooth landing. Is this a problem in FS9 or has this to do with my computer configuration? Thanks in advanceWilliam Depraet.

I am flying a flight pretty far up north right now, (ENTC - ENSB) and it struck med that it would be pretty handy if you guys at PMDG would include True heading. Might be too late too include it in the initial 800/900 release, but in a patch later maybe? I would really appreciate it. :)

Hello,I recently procured PMDG Boeing. Can anyone tell me if FS9, PMDG Boeing and Radar Contact are all together compatible? Does using the FMC change anything to the RC functioning? Or gives the "normal" GPS better results? What about using ActiveSky also? Thanks on beforehand for inputs,Regards,Juul Tango,Hasselt, Belgium

I normally don't do payware, but the PMDG 737 has been staring me in the face for a long time, and so I thought I'd give it a go...besides, I've heard nothing but good things about it. Well, I installed the PMDG 737NG not too long ago, booted up FS2002 and loaded up the jet. I start normally from the control tower view, then proceed to the cockpit view from there. As soon as I selected cockpit view, it locked up, crashed and generated an error report. So, I tried going to the cockpit view first and then loading the 737, and the same thing happened. Now, I've been simming a long time, so I'm pretty sure I did everything one should in order to install an aircraft prope…

I did a search and could not find any info regarding how to get rid of that annoying windscreen wiper on the PF side. It really obstructs my view during the landing phase and I would like, if possible, to get rid of it along with the 'insrument approach procedure for BWI stuck to the left windscreen....Any help would be much appreciated.Regards,Jack KGSP

Sirs,Has anyone got a real-life NG checklist, any operator? If so it would be great if you could scan it and post it on the forum or file library. Currently I'm using this 737-300 checklist which is great; although it's not NG specific.http://www.b737.org.uk/normalchecklist.gifCheers,Paul

HiDoes anyone know if there's a way to disable the popup menus appearing when right-mouse clicking whilst in the VC. The reason i ask is now i have fs2004, i use the VC a lot more and find that, for example, when adjusing the HDG selection in 10 degree steps, i seem to sometimes, just "miss" the knob slightly and end up with an annoying popup menu (i blame it on the turbulence!!!)ThanksGary

Bonjour, bonsoir,I started to ask this question in a previous post but, as suggested I make a new post here.PMDG 737 / AIRAC 0403 / LFPG.txt from the Navdata site :I cannot use any LFPG stars with the FMS, An error mentionning BUREX NOT FOUND appears on the FMS.I made a few try out and I know it is workin with the AIRAC 0313.Here is a answer from Michael in a previous thread :"Hi Medi and Philippe,You guys seem to have a problem with LFPG. I just finished a thorough check of the latest Airac cycle released by NavData. My conclusion is that all navaids and fixes are correct and updated to the latest changes. I further did some test sitting at LFPG and could not detect any …

I am a new user of the the wonderfull PMDG 737NG and was wondering if anyone can help me with a few ideas on setting up the FMC unit or help with an easy flight plan. I have slowly upgraded to the 737 and am keen on trying to program the aricraft's FMC unit and although I have tried a few times -without success - it appears to be not so easy.I have had some difficulty in getting the AP to work successfully for instance. Have I tried to walk before I can run !!!Thanks in anticipation.

Is there a rule of thumb for what altitude to fly at? (IFR with the 737NG in particular) I'm aware of the even heading /odd altitude and odd heading / even altitude rule. An example, if I'm flying from say KISP to KBWI, it's only 190 miles. What altitude would you fly at in this case? Thanks.

Ever have something knaw at the back of your mind, something's just not quite right but you can't put your finger on it? Ryanair did that to me until I sussed it out.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/70019.jpgI've also updated Ryanair Frankfurt Hehn with the correct engines. ;-)

Hi all,I have just loaded the 737NG CD Edition onto FS2004, and I'm very impressed. Just a couple of things though:Firstly, on take-off, when I set 50% N1 a chime sounds and this lasts until I've rotated. I set the power (50%) with the brakes off. I was just wondering how I can get rid of it/what am I doing wrong? Also, after you have tested the OVERHEAT/FIRE PROTECTION systems on the central pedestal, how do you stop the alarm? I tested it and couldn't find a way of stopping it!I look forward to your advice.Thank you very much in advance,Chris ChownEGKK

We (Virtual Aviation) offer Flight Simulator Experiences for the general public at Gatwick & Luton using full-motion flight simulators, and the Boeing 737 Next Generation is one of our most popular aircraft types. On our B737NG information page (http://www.virtualaviation.co.uk/fun/locations/737ng.html) we have recommended the PMDG product and included a link to the PMDG website. Is this okay???Most our our customers use FS2002/2004 at home and those who come to fly the B737NG full-motion sim would be very interested in the PMDG product, if they don't already own it.I thought the PSS A320 was very good, but this B737NG is really excellent. Well done!
