    Hi. I've gone through the tutorials, I know how to operate the NG, but for some reason, when I let VNAV handle the descent it always gets an overspeed disconnect or a "descent path unachievable". The last one I got was from KLAX-KSFO, I had perfect sid/stars and all that jazz, but somehow VNAV disconnected.

    I know the question isn't new in this forum but i could't fid the right answer.I like to fly the PMDG737NG but i don't have the time to fly a route in once :-(I know it isn't possible to save everything, but what is the best procedure to save the most en then manually restore the rest of the flight!!This is very important for me (and probably for a lot of others simmers) because i don't have enough time :-(thanx in advance,gnauw

    Hello,I'm rewriting SIDs and STARs for some airports in France. I would like to know the correct syntax to program a SID with a turn more than 180 degres. For example, I need to take off rwy 27, keep rwy heading until 2000ft, then a left turn to overfly a VOR or a NDB located approximately on the airport then normal routing to another VOR flying northeastbound ?Thanks for your helprgds / Stefltt

    I purchased the 'CD version' of the NG from pcaviator.com and received it yesterday. I've been flying the last few years using the Aerowinx 747-400 PS1.3a software and the PIC767 software on FS2002 but I can now say that I am incredibly impressed with the 737 NG software by the PMDG team. I loaded it and took a short hop from ATL to CLT and it was simply magnificent in every way imaginable. I was really impressed with the flight dynamics. It was smooth in the climb, crz, & des phase, and the trim functionality along with the throttle inputs were simply outstanding.I can safely say that this aircraft is a very hugh step ahead of the others and I'm looking forward to th…

    Hello to you all, I'm Yossi from Israel.Let me start by saying that sience i've purchased the PMDG 737NG i'm not using any other airplane.Usually i'm fling on line on VATSIM. When flying on line i'm doing everything "by the book": First i start the INFOSERV to get the latest ATC info. Than (when INFOSERV is on) i'm starting the SB Relay -> FS9 -> SB Host -> Squawkbox -> AVC -> AVC Tuner.I'm having an odd problem - computer freeze when flying on line and talking to ATC .     A question from a member of the Radar Contact beta team about operating the 737NG in Europe led me to page 45 of the FMC manual and the section on entering the Transition Level on the Descent Forcasts page.The example shows (at L1) a "Trans Lvl" of 18000. Now as, by definition, the Transition Level is expressed as a flight level, and flight levels are expressed in 'hundreds of feet', this, logically, would be FL18000 which, depending on the QNH, would give an altitude of roughly 1,800,000ft! Not very likely :D so it must be an altitude of 18,000ft. But why require an entry in altitude format when the value is expressed as a flight level? Should this entry not be in FL for…

    Hello all, I purchased the PMDG 737NG not to long ago, after purchasing the 1900D I just had to have the 737, what beauties, I knew what I was getting into with the 737NG its WAY more realistic and I like it!! :)but one small problem, I went into the FMC, hit RTE, Typed in KDEN click LSK 1L and it gave me an error (not found in Database)then I realised oh shoot, I did not download all the NAV stuff, so up to the Site I came, got what I needed, Extraced all those TXT files into FS9/PMDG/SIDSTARS/ as per the instruction, restarted the game (I got out completely) and started over again, SAME problem :( so now I am really at a loss, as I tried a few other things and no go, m…

    I'm just wondering what PMDG's (and anyone else's for that matter) stance on "wing flex" is. I was just checking the homepage to see if any 747 updates had been added in recent days when I started thinking that seeing something that heavy touching down on the runway (or taking off) without the flex of the wing would look somewhat...odd.However, the various freeware models with this so-called "wing flex" often look even more odd (like really big birds flapping very jagged wings).So PMDG, what is your view on this issue.
