PMDG General Forum

Is it possible if one has 736 installed on one PC to have 738/739 on other PC or do they have to be on one PC only?It would be nice if these were separate licences as customers will pay separate fees (those who already paid for 736 that upgrade to 738). If not, then you practically treat 736 and 738/9 as one product.Just a friendly question :)

Hello First of all I want to say The 737 is just excellent and I also love the B1900.. I fly online almost all the time. Is it at all possible to fly online using the FMC that comes with Sqkbox. Too be honest with you I just havent really gotten a hold of the auto pilot and fmc with the 737. And Is it only possbile to use a/p with the FMC,like if I didnt want to fly a flight plan ? Also I was wondering is there any good videos out there for this bird that would maybe help me better understand the a/p and fmc.......ThanksMike B.

I now hit my fps lock at 29 all the time in VC whereas in 2D now is at 20 but damn stable 20??? What happened? I am not sure but the VC may be more blurry then normal so it may explain some.Should I enable render to texture and should I set paneltotexture=1?

Hello everybody !I haven't flown the PMDG for weeks now (think I have forgotten the most ;-) ) and yesterday I wanted to make a flight from Cologne to Berlin. So I started FSBuild and imported the flightplan to PMDG, modified some FMC settings (hope I have done it right) - everything worked as usual. On final I decided to turn off the autopilt and fly manual and here comes the problem : for some reason the GPWS didn't turn on like (spoken) 30 20 10 retard....And now I remember that the Co-Pilot didn't call out the speeds during take off either.I guess Iam just doing something really stupid....Could somebody help me ?Thanxyardbird

Edited versevening all, i was doing abit of research earlier to find out the differences in the 800/900 and i found out that the 800 was a all round better a/c than the 900..... (thats my opinion anyway) http://www.boeing.com/commercial/737family/technical.htmlthe 900 is slightly longer (one would think that more length = more seats what have they done with thw extra space????)they both have the same mtow and same number of seats in a "Y" class layout yet in a "CY" layout the 900 can hold more "C" seats. 800=162 900=172 the 800 has a better range than its larger brother even though the mtow's are the same, you can get a few more bags in the 900yet there is no need for …

Hi there crew and users...I voted recently that I used Fs2002...I recently got curious and reinstalled my FS9...I decreased my cloud detail and auto gen to normal and whammo it all ran perfectly!Even my PMDG ran better than on my FS2002!Also I would advise any FS9sceptic to download one of the many zip files from avsim that has edited textures of auto gen or clouds, because much of FS9's textures are of a very high resolution and resizing them to half the size or less increases your framerates.I have been looking at my fly tampa sceneries and the likes with all of my FS2002 AI's and the move has taken me 4 days, with 2 intense day of working, also working with AFCAD two a…

using FS2002Some wierd behavior since I upgraded operating systems to XP, I kept the old HDD and am using FS off it. Before PMDG 737-700 would track the magenta line like a champ, now however it slips a good 5 to 10 miles off track (usually south or west of track) and seems incapable of following the line, even after going into heading mode to put it on an itercept heading and reingaging V-nav on the line, it will go back the way it came untill it sits offtrack again at 5 to 10 miles southwest. I reinstalled the service pack 1.3 again and the only change was that now when I go to overhead (shift 7) and come back the main panel's PFD and other screens have frozen and won't…
