If I want to undock the throttle quadrant and touch by mistake one of the thrust handles I can synchronize them again with FSUIPC (payed version)Sometimes after that the Reverse Trust activates if I give normal thrust.Restart FS2004 does not help, only restart the computer solves the problem. Not very fine if you fly on line with ATC.Anyone an idea for a quicker solution?Frans Dekker

Hello fellow PMDG simmers!Have been flying online on VATSIM for a while and thought I should give FPI (Flightproject) a chance and see what it was like. I think the subject line says it all...you'll just have to try it out yourself to realize how smooth everything is when comparing to VATSIM for example. Just too bad there are so few users. But nevertheless, it sure was a joyful experience - try it out if you haven't already!Cheers,

Hi AllNow I dont know whether I'm being a bit thick but here goes.I have been trying to follow the short tutorial for a dark and cold start. I can get the APU and other stuff all up and running but when I go the FMC I cant seem to load up the sid/stars in fact it looks as if I havent got the data in my FMC at all. I can get KDEN info in, and KLAX but when I try to follow the tutorial as regards waypoints everything just goes haywire.I may not have explained myself very well.I have since last week downloaded the most recent sid/stars data but that still doesnt seem to to have any effect on getting those waypoints into my FMC. Any help would be appreciated, although dont su…

When communicating with ATC some of the models such as Alaska, Continental, EAsyJet and HLX identify themselves as for instance "London Center, 737 is type experimental..." Most of hte other models are fine and say "... is type 737 ..." Is this something that can be edited and fixed in one of the config files?LuisKMIA

  8. Hello to all fellow simmers, I've been flying the 737 for a while now but just noticed that while flying from LIMF to LIRF (more specificly on downwind to rnwy 16L) at one point the plane wasn't following the correct HDG dialed in (340hdg instead of 344hdg as you can see from the picture).A little while after I noticed that the aircraft did correct it's HDG and everything else was perfect as usual from then on.I honestly can't recall when this happened in the past but now I remembered to take a pic (excuse me for the very bad quality) and send it to you guys. What could have caused that to occur? Thanks,David http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/68049.jpg

On the real B1900D the torque instrument is a digital readout in adition to the analogue dial. A lot of these gauges arent like the real thing and are simply the king air gauges. Disappointing. Any plans to update this?

Hi,I'm author of Boeing 737 Fuel Planner - http://www.volny.cz/fs2002/B737FPL/B737FPL.htm . This planner version 1.1. is usable for types -300, -400, -500, -700, -800 and -900. Many people wish to update planner for types -200 and -600... I would like to do it, but I have not fuel flow data for -200 and -600 and I can't find them anywhere. Does anybody has requested data or ability to obtain them ? My e-mail is [email protected] a lot and happy landing....m

Hi!okay, I'm confused. Thats nothing really new, my wife keeps suggesting that I'm confused since she knows me :-doh, but here somebody certainly can help:When is the APU used? Sure, it's used to start the (first) engine, but afterwards? When is it shut down? Before take-off? Afterwards? When is it restarted (in flight, on ground)?. Can a 737 (or other Jet) be started without the APU, just with external power and bleed air (if a device providing this exists)? Is the APU restarted on approach or after landing? Does this depend on the weather and if so, how?I've tried to figure all this myself using the usual sources, but I've found odd and partly controversal information. …

Has anyone had any experience on setting up the above? I know that you have to be in windowed mode to undock and then drag to new monitor. Can you drag individual panels ie, pfd, ng, or does it have to be the whole cockpit?thanx in advance.

  19. How do others keep themselves busy/interested during a longer PMDG flight where basically the FMC is doing all the work?Looking around at scenery and monitoring the flight are obvious, but are there any other ways you've found to make the enroute protion more interesting and exciting? One thing I like to do is look up some of the airports on teh net as I pass them. http://www.airnav.com is a great way to do this.Gavinhttp://www.interprom.com/gavhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

I noticed in the 737 cockpit video I'm watching the suprprising play that the flight yoke has.on final approach, the flying pilot seems to really be moving the yoke in all axis (axees?) quite dramatically - yet the aircraft seems to be commpletely stable.Any comments on this?Gavinhttp://www.interprom.com/gavhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

With MSFS standard aircraft it is possible to save and subsequently load the state of flights. This makes it convenient to do such things as to practice repeated takeoffs or landings or other maneuvers, as well as to resume a long flight at a later time, even after previously exiting the sim.PMDG aircraft lack this capability, primarily due I assume to the proprietary nature of the PMDG autopilot and related systems and controls. In my opinion this is a significant deficiency.I hope the folks at PMDG are addressing this problem. If so can we expect a save/load capability any time in the near future?Regards,Sandy

HI everybody!I'm a veteran flightsimmer, but a PMDG newbie and I just wanted to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to PMDG for their great products.I always thought the default 737 would be enough and so I didn't buy anything until the PMDG 1900D came out. I thought that plane was so good I decided to invest in the 737NG as well. I must say I'm amazed at the detail and quality of PMDG's products.Right now I'm eagerly awaiting the 800 and 900 737s and hoping that the 747 want take too long to get airborne!Keep up the great work guys! Thanks,Fredrik:D

For those interested, Just Planes realeased a DVD dedicated to HLX's 737-700. I just received mine today, and it looks great. Really good info on cockpit procedures and use of the instruments. The routes feauted are Cologne-Madrid-Cologne; Cologne-Klagenfurt-Cologne; Cologne-Hamburg-Cologne; Cologne-Olbia-Cologne; Cologne-Rome-Cologne; and Cologne-Reus-Cologne. They also show a walk-around, as well as footage from a chase plane. I also own the DVD featuring GOL's routes. Enjoy!LuisKMIA
