Hi Torsten.Addint the 800/900 to the CD or download version of the 600/700 will have the same result. The CD and download version of the 600/700 are identical.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

For the real world pilots:IMHO I can make quite a reasonable job of flying the PMDG 737 NG. If I were in the cockpit of a real world 737 would I stand any chance at all of getting it off the ground and landing it again or is the transition from the PMDG 737 just too big a step?Chris

Ages ago Bob Jones posted a message with two new liveries - one of them BA. Well I want it, where is it? If I don't get it soon I will do something desparate like.....kicking the cat. So if you like animals, give me the BA livery - or the cat gets it.

Captains-We are just about to wrap up development on the PMDG 737-800/900!I expect that the airplane will be turned over to beta testers in approximately one week, which means that we are relatively close to general product release! Here are a few images we did this afternoon for your enjoyment, as well as ours! (As you can see...this was fun to orchestrate!)First: Here is a sample of the entire PMDG 737 range... (missing are one 700 and one 800 variant respectively- but it gives you a good idea of the scope of the airplane size!)http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...oup_Flight1.jpgSecond: This is a pretty image that shows off the beautiful (And proportionate!) line…

I am interested in purchasing the 737NG version that is currently for sale, but as the -800/-900 series is going to be released soon, would it be better for me to wait for that product?Or must I already have the 737NG currently for sale to have the -800/-900 product? I am running FS2004, Win XP Pro, Intel 2.4Ghz board, 512MB RAM, Dual 120BG Hard Drives in series, and an ATI AIW 9700 Pro card. Thanks! :-)

HelloAfter dozens of hours of joy with SU1.2, it starts striking me again:I just took off from EGCC, retracted gear and switched on the autopilot as so many times before. As usual I chose LNAV for the SID, and after minutes I was cleared to climb FL190 by ATC. Inbound to LISTO the A/C suddenly started to increase the rate of climb while adding engine power - I didn't think of anything bad, as this sometimes happens, but when I exceeded 6000 fpm, still accellerating I got my doubts and deactivated the autopilot. No chance to recover the plane, the engines failed and I was reaching Mach 1 on a 9000 fpm climb (!) when the 737 eventually broke appart. Ok, I thought this might…

Is there a tutorial anywhere that shows you how to create sids/stars for the 737NG FMC, if so, where can I get it from?

Lately I am finding a little black box that appears on the main cockpit panel and on the overhead panel. It would be about 3*4 cm and I can move it around. Any ideas what this is and how to get rid on it.I don't see it when using the landing or zoomed instrument panelreagrds Robert

one simple questionhow far are we from the -800/-900 release? i understand the you don't say exact dates. an indication would be just fair. (e.g. one month, two month or a year)there are plenty of screenshots being posted outside your forum of the -800 / -900.which could mean we are one or two weeks away. :Dthanks for a brief update

I see GPS information displayed when I click the Nav/GPS button on the HSI, but no direction needle. I only see a VOR needle when Nav is selected. Is it possible to slave the GPS to the autopilot?

Have flown many NG hours now, with very few problems. Just recently, however, at about 10000' on descent, I start getting 'Norman Collier' (interrupted) sound. This only occurs in 2D main panel veiw, and clears when I switch to any other view. Apart from a few MRAI packages, nothing new has been installed.Anyone got any ideas? Many thanksBob Pointer

I know it is not difficult to drag the FMC to where I want it, but it would be nice if it just opened there. Does anyone know how to change the default position of the FMC so that it appears in the lower center of the 2D panel? For example, covering up the backup horizon, etc.Thanks.

Captains, this is the latest treatment of the American Airlines 737-823 that you'll be able to pilot once the 800 series of our NG is released. Some sublet, but very effective changes have been made to the aircraft and livery and I feel this is my best American Tru-Metal to date. We hope you'll enjoy it.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/66205.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/66206.jpg
