Hi All,I sent the following message to PMDG support on Wednesday (now Sat) for any Ideas about my poor framerates but haven`t had any response.Looking at the topics here it doesn`t seem as though framerates are a problem. Hi,I am not having much luck (or skills :-)) using autoland with the 737NG. Before I am able to hit 'CMD B' the APP LEDs go out. This is without using the FMC so there is no VRef etc. set. When the APP LEDs go out, the yellow 'Single CH' in the PFD stays on.Hope someone has an idea on what I am doing wrong here.Cheers,Siggy

I used PMDG with ActiveSky 2004 and after loading the weather,i changed the view (by pressing 's') to the external view and noticed that the textures of the aircraft are not loading and FS9 crashes to desktop.Any Solution.Please Help.

As KHYA was fogged in today, I picked the brain of one of our captains for a few flying tips! From what I recall,on take off at 1000 feet the power is brought back to 3300 foot lbs, 3950 is max.( not modeled with PMDG Kingair 350 torque gauge,I hope some one can model the real one) Then the props go to 1550 for the climb. For cruise we use 1450 on the props, Which you can leave alone until gear down, when they are placed full foward max rpm. For take off, flaps are not used, except for a hot day using 15/33 out of KACK(3999 ft) On approach at 180, flaps 17 is selected. And at one dot below the glide slope, the gear is selected down, and props full foward. You must be full…

I've just re-installed the 737 and patched it right up (and used the removal tool before hand) and it's awesome. I'm having some big issues with the FMC, though. It shows the AIRAC 0313, and I can enter my FROM/TO airports, but when I try to punch in my waypoints, all I get is "NOT IN DATABASE".The AIRAC installed to D:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9FMCWPnavdata, which I think is correct?Can anybody help?Thanks,Greghttp://members.rogers.com/gmoffatt/images/ERJ_CRT.jpg

Ive purchased the 737NG several months ago. I think the plane looks incredible good and it flies really nice. i love it and I really want to use it.... HoweverSince i bought the product i havent been able to fly more than a few flights in it without the sim crashes or freezes. I have browsed the forum and searched for many topics on the subject and i have reinstalled Winxp, fs9, and the pmdg so many times that i dont know what to do any longer. Hi there, why does the autobrake not disengaged unless fully stoped?Will this be fixed with the 800-900 series?How does thereal thing operate, do they normally disengage below 40 knots like the airbus?Thans,David

Hey Yall, this seems like a stupid question for me, and I do know how to read the approach plates so you can assume that when you respond, but I am slightly baffeled by the approach into Tegucigalpa, Honduras (MHTG) for the VOR Rwy 1 approach. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/65861.jpgI would like to program the approach into my FMC. Hello,My question can appear a little stupid but when I program a flight in the 737 FMC with SID STAR (with NavData and FSNAV) without recording it under FS as a IFR Flight plan to have the ATC, I realize that each time I make my descent (firstly in VNAV then starting from 6000 fts in LVL CHG) the plane is too high and the approach and then the landing are missed.How do I

For some reason I've lost the LED windows on the radio panel. I can still hear the radio and change freq. from the ATC window, but all the displays are blank. Hey guys,I saw the previews for the 800/900 VC, and I see that the color of the cockpit went from what it is now (a light purplish color) to what looks like a medium dark blue. Now due to system limitations, I never fly in the VC, and am always in the 2D Panel. I can't wait for some of these improvements in the new 800/900, and it looks like you guys are about to take the NG to a whole new level that FS has never seen before, and you've hooked me for this new addon LONG ago.That being said, my question is, is the "new VC color" the same as the 2D panel color for the 800/900? Hi, I have a problem I mapped my MCP and RP48 with a few planes and it worked fine. Yesterday, I installed a GF-TQ6 throttle and it had the following consquences on my key mappings : --> RP48 buttons do not work anymore (actually, the code of each button changed) --> MCP : the "slow rotation" and "fast rotation" are not differenciated anymore. It results in an unusable MCP with PMDG737 When I unplug the throttle quadrant, everything is back to normal. I installed it like written in the manual (code copied to device.cfg). Does anyone have the same problem ?? Thanks for your help, Olivier

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has gone to the lengths of downloading the sids and stars list from the navdata page as you cannot download them all in one lot, they have to be downloaded separatly. I've never had a problem with these kinds of things before, but after downloading some liverys, my wing textures arent loading. The VC also doesnt come in fully. The gadges to, but not the firewall. Also, an odd thing happens with a couple liverys. The become see through in some places when the lights are on. As you can see in the picture, the airport terminal can be seen through the butt of the bird. Given that this bird appears to have some of the better flight dynamics in FS2004, do you manually land this aircraft or let the autopilot do the landing? I must admit that I let my NG auto-pilot do more landings than I figure would be normal in real flying. I wonder just what the ratio of auto-landings to manual landings is in real life NG ops, does anyone know? I think that there is a currency required for the crew in auto-landings, so some must be done that way at least. Thanks,Bruce.

Firstly, ATC tells me to descend so i use the descend now option, and i intentionally create a waypoint altitude restriction, however, i can get the thing descending, but the N1 is still at about 75%. It doesnt seem to reduce the throttles........hence i am unable to meet my altitude constrain that i entered.Secondly, to correct this, i use level change and set the speed to 280 kts. Now it uses flight idle. But i would prefer to use the descent page........anyway, towards final approach, lies my second question.........i have the plane on dual channel ILS, and i try and set the speed down using SPEED in the MCP window, and it wont slow down, even when the SPEED button …

The Beech 1900 is an excellent product. It is definitely a notch or two above the default offerings. I can go on and on about how good this plane looks, flies, and even sounds. If you go to the Raytheon website and look at the exterior, cabin, and cockpit, you can see that the Precision Manuals Development Group definitely did their homework. My only problem is that the gauges in my 3D cockpit stutter and are not smooth. The instruments in the 2D mode run smoothly, but, for some reason, those on my 3D panel act as if the frame rates are about 3 per second -- although the actual framerates are fine and the outside scenery runs smoothly.
