I was wondering how others keep track of which SIDS/STARS are most current for them. For example, I use:1) The PMDG provided files2) The files created on NavDataSo when a new update comes from PMDG, how do you keep track of which ones NOT to overwrite because they've been modified via NavData? Also, how do you know if and when the PMDG files are actually now MORE CURRENT then the NavData ones?Confused yet?? ; )I'm keeping all NavData files in a separate folder, and then re-overwriting the PMDG ones after an update. folder, and then re-overwriting the PMDG ones after an update.

Hi,A great product altogether, the PMDG 737 NG, that I only bought recently. Don't have enough time to use it as much as I would like, but Winter is only 2 months away or so and then it'll be better in that respect :-).Anyway, one thing I am missing is the capability to display the ADF together with VOR1/ILS1. However the switch on the right hand side of the EFIS control panel unfortunately is 'INOP'. Would it be possible to have the ADF1 function on that in lieu of the missing ADF2 in FS ? I guess it is as inaccurate as having an 'INOP' label there ;-).Regards,Siggy

Hi,Have a simple question about how the crew use their radio IRL, do they have some kind of a "push-to-talk" button or how do they activate the mic when they are about to say something on the channel?Cheers,

I'm considering purchasing the 737 package, but I run at 1600x1200 no/AA and have issues with bitmaps which are scaled up (i.e. I hate them), so if anyone can tell me what the highest NATIVE resoltion for the bitmaps on this aircraft is, I'd really appreciate it. I know some CaptainSim Aircraft have native 1600x1200 support, but I've never purchased a PMDG bird.Thanks,--Jon

Hi Folks,Whenever I fly the Beech 1900 I get great framerates except when in the spot view with the nav lights on. As you can see in the pictures with nav lights off I get 30 FPS and with the nav lights on it drop to 16, almost half of my frame rate is slashed, that's quite a major drop. Help PMDG guys!Nav Lights off - 30.6 FPShttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/67079.jpgNav Lights on - 16.6 FPShttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/67080.jpgThank you for your help,Nick

This is a question adressed to the PMDG staff: "wouldn't it be nice if we could upload some videos directly to the pmdg website, maybe on a page resevered only for videos".It would provide pilots with a more comprehensive approach to the unique pmdg aircraft and I'm sure anyone would be able to benefit from wacthing an approach or take-off and submit considerations and more on this forum of course. You could have an upload limit like you do for images already. It doesn't have to be done in the immediate future but just think about it as a future development.Just thought of it as a nice idea...Thanks,David http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/67305.jpg

Feel I am treading on hallowed ground here since I have bought nearly all the other add on aircraft and PMDG's one is the ONLY ONE that really works with no real problems. Ok, the FMC is pretty basic but its pretty flawless in comparison with say Phoenix or SSW.Anyway just hoping this will have in addition a working traffic alert system with warning sounds - a few more sounds would be nice too - BOT NOT at the expense of the basic program working OK. Just a thought - How can I compare that cabin with any of the others; I think this aircraft is the only add on that has it. - and it is GREAT.Just when are those little tv's in the back of the seats going to work though :)Hon…

Hello,Today on myflight from KOMA-KLAS my CH Flight Sim Yoke USB quit responding. As I was approching Nevada my yoke quit responding to anything, it simply died on me. Needless to say I had to land the flight by use of the keyboard but was unable to taxi back to the terminal as I use my yoke as well to steer on the ground.I would like to know if this has happend to somebody else or what could be the cause! This does never happen to me on shorter flight but on the longs er flights it seems that it quits responding after an x amount of time.Thanks.

Hi,Before we start translating terminal procedures for large airports I would like to know how many pages the PMDG FMC can handle. For example there are 1,145 procedures (including all transitions) for KDFW. This would mean that for each runway we could have a large number of procedures to list. Our best guess at this stage is that we could need up to 23 pages. Can the FMC handle 23+ pages?DISCLAIMER:The above reflects only a personal opinion and was written without any intend to offend, harm or criticize in any way or manner any individual, institution, association or company including PMDG.Michael

Hello,I have a question about LVLCHG.When I'm at 6000ft at 240 kts, (with VNAV mode) I enter 3000 ft in the Altitude window, and 200 kts in the speed window and then I push LVL CHG. The aircraft raise the noise and stop its descentand but time that speed falls I

I am having problems with 2d panels where the outside view (ie ground/sky) is showing through around the very outside edge of all the 2dpanels. It is only a little but detracts from realism. I have noticed that it only becomes an issue when the AA and Anisotropic filtering are at high levels at low levels there is no problem - so choice I have is low level and lots of jagged edges, or high levels and no jagged edges but can see ground/sky round edge of panels. Does anyone have similar problem/know of a fix as it is driving me mad!ThanksDell P4 3.01mb RamRadeon pro 9800 128mb

Gents; Attempting to fly into KABQ, I am unable to set the published MDA (5510 ft) in the baro mins. They are capped at 2500...only the radar alt mins should be limited to 2500. Also, having to single-click my way from 0 to 5400 ft when setting the landing field elevation on the cabin press controller is exceedingly tedious...holding down the mouse key shuld allow rapid slew of the value...or perhaps right-clicking in increments of 1000 ft.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, D.C.

We don't need a another Saab (Two is too many!!!!!!)For the PMDG Express Line you should consider a more popular Commuter Aircraft like.......(1) Canadair CL-600 (CRJ-200)(2) Embraer EMB-120(3) DeHavilland DHC-8-400 Dash8 (My favorite, Long and Lean)I am sure the sales of one of these fine aircraft would make PMDG #1 in overall sales (volume)!!!!!!!!!
