Hi all,I'm noticing that on random ocassions, my graphics start to disappear as a flight progresses, especially when I cycle between views (VC, 2D cockpit, spot, etc). I'm attaching an example of how my airplane is partial, as well as the AI ariplanes. In the worst case, everything becomes black. I am unable to isolate when this starts to happen. My specs are:Win 7-64Intel Core i7 980X (4.00 GHz o/c) Six Core, 6.4GT/s QPI 12GB Mushkin Redline Tri Channel DDR3 (1600MHz) CL6 1536MB Nvidia GeForce GTX 480, GDDR5, PCIe Any ideas?ThanksLuis KMIA

Just got a new Windows 7 machine. My old computer is running FS2004 with a Garmin 430 (non WAAS). Will this run on the Windows 7 64 bit machine, or do I have to buy a new Garmin 430 from reality xp? If I can transfer and run it all, how do I get the Garmin 430 on the new machine? Thanks.

Hi all! :( I just set up my new system running Win7 x64. FS9 is running well, too. But now the questions:Does the latest World of AI installer work correctly with Windows 7 64-bit and FS9?And what about the mandatory .NET Framework v2.0? Shall I install Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x64)? It's for 64-bit systems, but I don't see Windows 7 listed in the supported OS list. Does it work with Windows 7 anyway?Ok, I know I could just try it out. But I spent several hours to have a great running system and I don't wanna mess it up right now...Many thanks for help!J.R.P.S. And EditVoicepack? Is it working too with Win7 x64? And the required .NET …

Hi guys,I just recently bought a new laptop with windows 7 64bit (which I wish I could uninstall and go back to XP!!). I've had a few issues with FS9 like everyone else probably has had but I am sorting it out one by one. I still have my old lap top with Windows XP and I was wondering if anyone has successfully networked these two platforms together using WideFS.I run Active Sky Evolution, FS Commander etc and it would be nice to have these all run on another the old laptop so I can leave FS9 to run on the newer one. Any advice? Thanks,Jermaine.

Windows 7 Pro 64-bitMSFS9/2004 with updateAs I understand it, a virtual cockpit allows the pilot to manipulate the controls using mouse clicks.Unfortunately, running FS9 under Windows 7 I cannot see any mouse cursor/arrow in the sim screen. If I move the mouse over a VC and the instruments have tool tips, the tool tips will show but, as i can't see a mouse cursor, I apparently have no way to place a mouse cursor precisely over a control and then ativate/deactivate it.Is there a known fix for this?TIA

We all know that moving the Windows page file into a separate hard drive increases it's performance. My question is, should I keep it in it's default location (c: drive), move it into my secondary hard drive containing the FSX installation, or disable it all together? The hard drives are identical (2 x 500GB Western Digital Caviar Blue), and I have 4 GB DDR3-1333 RAMThank you.

Hi everybody. As i plan to build me a new rig to play FSX on, i wonder which OS i should choose. Has anybody here upgraded from Win 7 32bit to 64bit? Did it make a difference in FSX, or is 64bit simply a overkill?By using 64bit i simply think about being able to have plenty of RAM.

Hi, I was hoping someone can give any clues. I get this weird looking error message every time I quit FSX. I am attaching an image so you can see it. I was wondering if you could tell me how I can fix this? I think it doesn't affect the performance of the game itself, because it appears only when you close the game. I mean, sometimes when REX is loading (in its three stages) it frizzes the game for good 5 min, and then most of the time you can continue flying. Other than that I have not seen any other odd behaviours. Thanks. Aircanadajet

Is it possible that everyone have this problem on win7 x64, and there is no solution for it?In full screen, when you press Alt for menu, everything goes black, and your mouse become black too. Alt+Tab, switching back to FS, black screen than CTD. Even those compatibility things on exe file, don't work. Same thing with or without them.I know that everything work in windowed mode, but why not in full screen? I'm really seconds away to turning back on XP...

Does anyone know what service pack I need to run FSX in Windows 7? I just got a new computer with Win7 on it and I downloaded it to Program Files (x86). I can't get my Aerosoft dvd of the MD-11 to install on my new Win7 computer. I get the following msg: "FSX Version 10.0.61355.0 (Sp1 at least required). You only have FSX Version 10.0.60905.0 installed. Please install FSX Sp1 or later to use this product."Any ideas on what I should do to get this product to install in my Win7 computer?Oh, one other question I have: Why do I have 2 Program Files in my C:/ drive? The first one reads: Program Files. The second one reads: Program Files (x86). This is where my Microsoft FSX fi…

Being the nerd that I am, I just bought a new SSD. I want make that the boot drive. Is there a way to do this without it being a clean install so I have to reinstall all my software? Between FSX and all my addons, that will take forever. Is there a way to sort of just "move" wIndows7 or tell it to install it on a new drive and keep the user and registry settings? Anyone ever try this?

Guys, did anyone try to compare performance of either FSX or FS9 in Win7 64-bit vs. WinXP 64-bit?Also, I use both FS9 and FSX and there are many msfs addon programs that I run on my network PCs for the main MSFS server PC (those on clients will remain on WinXP). Will I lose any network functionality if I get Win7 64-bit Home edition? What functionality does W7 64-bit Home edition (forgive me if it's called Basic, I'm at work now) limit compared to the Professional version in terms of using it for MSFS and games? Thanks,Dirk.

Hello guys,I was wondering if anyone could help! I am trying to install FSX deluxe version on my new machine. But everytime I try to run the setup application from disc 1 I get a message saying that the application could not run because its side by side configuration... and to try to look at the log of the application, etc. I did a fresh install of win7 twice, but nothing, I upgraded all the 60 new upgrades from microsoft, I don't know what to do? I have search all over and all i can find is people talking in code mode, more like trying to write programs, etc. If anyone would help, it would mean a lot! Thanks in advance!Sorry guys, this is the message I get whenever I run…
