For a while I've notice micro stutters started to creep up while panning around vc, I thought maybe was due to the resent 10.25 update, the new v2 mesh and the fact the my pc is not up to the demands of XP....but today while playing with some of the settings, I changed the "model per frame" from 2 to 1 and I can swear to you that I notice the stutters where gone, I can't say I gain any frames but I did gain smoothness. I don't really know what this parameter does but I do remember when XP 10 came out its default was 1, now I think the default is 2. Can't say it will help you as each system is different but its worth a try if you are suffering from micro stutters. …

Hi to all the X-Plane enthusiasts, With all the recent HD mesh + Skymaxx Pro release for X-Plane, I am finally pull into X-plane website and download the demo version for a try. After playing around with the rendering settings, I want to see what will be the difference with HDR on. But the result is enough for me not to try the product any further. I have consider pretty high specification PC: Core i7 2700K, ATI 7950, 8mb DDR3 low latency RAM. I have tried every rendering options from low HDR AA, with combination of high AF and vice versa. I tried the demo very briefly but something wasn't right. My download speed is very slow and I left the PC to download overnight. Woke up the next day and noticed there was a power outage while I was asleep. Not sure if it happened during or after downloading. With the demo, I was getting 24fps. I tried everything but couldn't find any menu or anything. It just starts in the default 747 VC. So not sure if the demo got corrupted. I know my fps should be higher after reading some of the XP10 discussions. If I were to run the Global 64-bit version, how would it run on my set up? What kind of graphics setting can I expect? (autogen, bloom, hdr, road traffic…

Andras, many thanks you for an amazing add-on to X-plane. Truscenery recommends removing their EFTP Mesh and replacing with the new Mesh which is the tile +060+020 which they have for download on their site. It is suggested to move the Demo area of X-Plane. KSEA Demo Terrain below the new mesh. This way any new x-plane upgrade will not reload these. How about KSEA demo area and Lowi demo area ?? Any others ?? Should the Madeira_3_tex of LMPA Scenery, stay above or go below the new mesh ?? RescueX_terrain is another I wonder should be below the new mesh ?? Just a few I wonder about.

Hi Froogle's video got me a little interested in X-Plane 10, especially the flight dynamics part. I'm wondering if it's possible to buy only Europe (or other small) area in X-plane 10? or do I have to buy the whole X-Plane 10 Global (55Gb)? It's a HD space matter for me. Thanx

I have had the very well made KBOSv10 scenery from the x-plane scenery d/l site. It was last updated in 2012. Since then KBOS has changed it's taxiways. I am starting with trying to add taxyway M which runs almost the full length of the airport. When opening the scenery in WED I find all of the runways/taxiways are under the earthnav data area. I created the new taxiway but only the edge blue lights show and not the textured taxiway when I hide the earth nav data the taxiway shows. Given the black Friday offer's on the .org store, I was thinking about buying one of these two products (for X-Plane 10). If someone has them both, which is better in terms of (and in order of importance): .) flight model .) systems complexity/realism .) frame rate performance .) general usability / eye-candy

I see a "QPAC A320" and an "Airbus A320 NEO" product for XPX. Is there any comparison to be made between these two products (without starting a comparison war here )? I know what the NEO is, and maybe that's the only difference? Interested in any comparisons regarding graphics (eye candy) in the 3D cockpit (not so interested in external views), functionality, etc. Also would need any aircraft to be 64-bit compatible. Hey guys, sorry if I am posting this in the wrong forum, still kind of a newb to this stuff. I've been pretty much exclusively flying the cessna 172 and have learned about most of everything on that planes instrument panel and how to get around when flying it form airport to airport so I have decided to take the next step and move up to a more modern plane and chose the Piaggio P.180 Avanti that is also included as one of the included planes in x-plane 10. But I am struggling with figuring out how the navigational instruments work on it. I did figure out how to control the autopilot and I can also click the "direct to" on the gps panel (or whatever it is) but I can'…

the core XP folder. I decided to make some room on one of my SSD drives and by just dragging and droping the XP10 main folder to a new drive I picked up 80 Gigs worth of space with ease. Not having XP10 linked to the registry is really an underappreciated benefit IMO. I used to loath the thought of a system build/ rebuild and if I'm not mistaken XP makes it as easy as moving your files to an External HD building or buying a new PC and then dragging it back onto your main file system. That's pretty sweet! Yeah I know you can use imaging tools like Norton Ghost etc. to basically achieve the same using other sims but I think it's great that I don't have to with XP.…

Today I decided o download, from flightsim.com, the two tiles that cover Portugal. I bought a Firts Class Membership ( had one around 2004 / 2005 ), and it was really fast! Tonight I will: 1) Disable the SimHeaven ZL17 photo scenery coverin Lisbon 2) Install both zones 3) Go flying around LPPT, and then Bragança and Serra da Estrela. One of the features I like the most in X-plane 10, and I guess will turn even better now with Mesh v2, is flying near Mountains / Hills. It really pays, specially if you're on a good glider model and the wind blows in such a way that you can find ridge lift!
