I like flying in the northern hemisphere and recently downloaded the new HD mesh. Tried a couple of airports: CYLT, Alert Canada is on water and no scenery around ENSB, Svalbard airport Longyearbyen is floating in water as well, with weird looking scenery around. Is it just me or has anyone the same experience?

Hi, I have track IR PRO 4. In x-plane my head keeps going out of the plane roof! Someone suggested downloading pilot view, so I did and I installed it, and I've read another topic here, but for the life of me I just cant figure it out! Does anyone know what I have to do, to stop my head going out of the plane roof and side walls? Thanks Ian

With the FF 777, the SGS 748, Peter's A380, and even the FF 757, some "longer" routes can be flown in X-Plane 10. I wonder what were your longest flights, between which airports, using what aircraft, using or not live ATC, planned with? were...

Will a 12 core CPU, 64 GB RAM Mac Pro completely blast away Xplane frame rates?

I once created a VATSIM account, but no longer recall it's details... I might create a new one, not to fly online but rather tu use XSqaukBox for weather injection... Is this functionality available, even if you do not want to fly online? How does it perform regarding injection of aloft winds, temperatures, etc?

I picked up the C208 and am having the same sound issue(s) horrible screetchy sound.. got the plane all started up.. but cant hear jack... not even sounds when i click on the switches..... btw im in Xplane 9 at 9.70

So I just purchased x plane the other day and there is a question I have been pondering. I understand the plausible world concept that XP has and that by default there are no custom landmarks/buildings. My question is, are skylines done randomly every time the sim fires up? For example, I'm flying over Chicago, if I where to close the game and then start up again and fly over Chicago, would it be the same skyline? Or would it be a different one?

Huge news for XP10 64-bit pilots - Xsaitekpanels released a 64-bit plug-in to control many aftermarket hardware controls from SAITEK. Free download. Version 2.08 or higher required for 64-bit operation. Hello all, I wanted to get a licensed version of X-Plane 10 (the curiosity was killing me!) so I played with the demo for a couple of hours. I decided to take the plunge and buy it, even if it would mean hours of getting it to look and look like good ol' FSX ( security blanket, I guess). But now, am I right in seeing that I can only order it via DVD? I cannot simply get a license key for the demo?

All, So for some reason I cannot get the xsquawkbox64bit version to show any of my airplane models when I type in the model code in the login screen, was wondering if this is normal and if not can someone help me fix this. It is extremely annoying. I have installed it just like it says on the website about 4 times with no luck. Attached is a copy of the log file and about 1/3 of the way down you can see that it is not opening the files with those models in them. Has anyone played with changing sky colors? I read the instructions to change and see sky colors but cannot find the folder . Or the menu in the picture. XPlane menu/special/show sky colors

hands down, it's the FlightFactor 757 for Xplane10....animation and graphics are so lifelike and add the realistic rain/snow/ice ontop of that for the complete package :lol:

Does anyone have this problem in a GA piston a/c when power is applied ? The a/c just yaws in the wrong direction on mine. I have the latest updates installed.

Hi to all, first post in this forum. I'm an experienced flight sim 'heavy' pilot having gained most of my knowledge using the level D767 and PMDG 737 and 747, all on FSX. I used to do a lot of flying on both VATSIM and private online FS groups in the UK. Having fully converted to Mac OS I want to start with X plane. I have sold all my FSX software and hardware and I'm basically starting from scratch. I will probably be using x-plane mostly for flying heavies with a view to going online. Hardware wise I have got an iMac 2.7 GHz Intel core i5, with 8 GB of RAM and 512 MB video RAM. (NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB). I also have an iPad and also an iPhon…

I installed today x-ivap and unzipped it after full index and update(ok) in resources and plugins I put in the cls updater and x-ivap resources folder after starting up x-plane I dont see in the plugins this ivap did I forget something?

I'm a bit unsure whether to get this 747, been reading up on their support forum and notice there are quite a few bugs particularly to do with FMC programming but the dev team seems to be working quickly to resolve these. The screenshots I've seen don't look too bad, the external model looks quite good, however the VC could probably look a bit better. Also haven't really seen any reviews or feedback about this aircraft other than the one on ASN (which doesn't really convince me). Would really like to get a decently modeled 747 for X-Plane as their one of my favourite tubes around so am wondering if anyone has actually purchased it yet? On the other hand, I've also…
