I had track IR 2 and finally gave up. Never got it to work real well in the sim. Is Track IR 5 an improvement?

I have not seen much of anything definitive about timeframes for the 10.30 release. Does anyone have any insight? It would be nice to hear something from Laminar.

Hi, When I load my version of X plane it states, "Whoops, you don't have disk 10...." I do have all the disks and haven't had any probs before. Any pointers would go down a treat!

hello im trying to customize views , i place myself in front of what i want to choose as a view example the gps, get very close to in in 3d then press ctrl + numpad1 for example and nothing happens , ive read i can fix different views and transition it like ezdokk, but i do that and nothin g happens, any hint to whats happening, thanks. As we all know XP10 is does not have any LandMarks,and it's North american look. With the European library from simheaven I got the effect I wanted ,and I hoped to get some LandMarks with the OSM+Autogen,but none... BUT in the gallary of simheaven I can see some LandMarks: where can I get those? I'm really looking for landmarks in munich,rome and vienna. Thanks anyway!

I have been trying to update my local runway 2W5 as they have a new runway, but using the coords listed in WED it never matches up. No way even close. I must be doing something wrong, or is it just the normal to get it as close as possible? OverlayEditor has better maps to try and place the runway, but I can't modify runways with it? My Geotif I use with WED is way older and I can't make out the outline. I try to fly online with X-Flightserver.net but after registration, I never got an answer back. So I cannot login. I sent a private message but no answer. Hello everybody, I'm an X-Plane pilot in Baron 58 from Carenado. I start to know well this plane because I have reed the official flight manual (120 pages) and flight more than 25 hours with it but I have a problem with Meteo conditions. When I have big rain, wind and a temperature from 0 to 8 degree, I take off (still now, everything perfect), but after 8-10 minutes the aircraft loose power (but all indicator are in green - I ear it from the noise of the motors) and suddendly the plane loose speed very quickly and start falling. New member, long time MSFS user, just switched to XPX having purchased a 27" iMAC. When I create a flight and am sitting on the runway in forward view I see very little of the aircraft instrument panel. It makes it impossible to fly. I'm ZOOMED back as far as I can, so I don't know what else to do to set up my cockpit view correctly. Thanks in advance. Tom

As described here, you can bring back the cloud shadows into XP10. And the good thing is ... they aren't visible only on the ground but also in the cockpit, as you can see in this video.

This happens when I approach big cities. Is it pretty normal perf for a system like mine? (specs on left) Here's me descending into KLAS with some freeware addon - 19 FPS. It's managable but 19 is pretty low, and it's not very smooth.

It looks like I just don't get it ! The plane I selected to fly is under the planes I selected under the "Other Aircraft" Tab. The KingAir is under the other airplanes and one of them just won't "get off" .... The airport is Tucson and we're parked on the RAMP...

Ok, it is a tie. Right now on X Plane 10 the Flight Factor 757 and JARA320 are exceptional. To be honest when I came from FSX and was used to flying the PMDG aircraft, X Plane 10 was really lacking in this area. The tables are slowly turning and these aircraft are really a joy to fly. With the IXEG 737 and the PMDG aircraft coming... along with the JARA330... a tubeliner such as myself will be in heaven.

As the title says, the Gizmo64 plugin has been updated to address a memory leak issue. Those using Skymax may want to install it, though the issue is apparently not with Skymaxx itself. I see the USGS no longer offers GEOTIFFs and I am looking for alternatives.
