Make sure you follow the rather simple instructions on how to install the KLN90 This An-24 is a great great add-on, with a level of detail, complexity and overall quality that are simply remarkable! With this update it became even better. Now I just have to ask Felis for an English speech co-pilot :-)

OSM2XP is a great piece of software which is used to generate X-Plane scenery from OpenStreetMap data. I know the simheaven website provides scenery for OSM, which also supports multipolygon forests amongst other things, however for people who like to play round with osm2xp and also test their own changes without waiting for a new download. I've been playing round with a few scripts to try and speed up the processing and add in the forest relations, and I've managed to drop the processing time down for the british-isles scenery from about 4 hours to 30 minutes. Hello, I am a student and the simulation at school is done through FSX 2004 (sigh) and have a few questions. They insist (I am not discussing that) on having one screen for the view (so as to focus mostly on what is outside) and the instruments on another. Without going into adding hardware I wish your input on the following configuration. - main screen: plain view without hub and some data displayed - second screen: local map with instruments With the above I get a good frame rate. I just installed X-Plane 10 Home version on my new iMac. When I go to the view tab 3D view with mouse is not there, only 3D command view! Is ythere something I'm doing wrong? Also, it won't let me file a flight plan in the ATC window! Any help would go down rather nicely! Jamie

Hi I have been flying Flight Factors 757 now for a couple of days, I haven't entered a flight plan yet, all I have done is fly 3 touch & go's, the third touch & go was my best landing yet but what I want to know is this........it feels so very heavy when taxing and landing, but, it also feels very very very realistic to me. I am not a real pilot, all my Saitek controllers, pedals, yoke, throttle are all correctly caliberated. Not bad at all, could be a really nice finished product if so. Pretty decent BTW. Being developed for years by the autor. Check it out is worth it.

Ok, plea for Linux suggestions.... I tried it ( hard ) with our PaiPix ( a variant of Knopix ), and I really don't think this is the best choice to run X-Plane 10. What are you Linuxers using? What do you recommend? I use Linux mostly in command line IRL... and mostly AIX on a P5, so, I know running this sort of software is really not my strong point....

Flying tonight w full install and I get this window telling me in not so many words that my joystick functions will stop and they did. I have the full X-plane 10 disks installed. Should the demos of KSEA and LOWE in the scenery folder be removed to prevent this from happening again, or is there another reason for this, I know when you run the demo from X plane site you cannot leave Seattle area etc. Any advice Thank you

Gents:I´m on my 4th attempt to install Xplane10 in my Win7 OS, the installer starts but suddendly, it stops saying the "x" file can be extracted from the DVD since there are too many open files in system..OK, i have run ccleaner and restarted the installation 4 times! and it seems i´m going nowhere, any ideas, pointers, or plain help??Thanks in advanceProwler

Hi everybody, being very new in the XP simulation I have run in to few problems, for which I didn't found any answers Why, during the opening screen I am getting a message that XP crashed last time and which rendering options should be loaded? How to get rid off ?(by the way, once the xp is loaded it occupied only half of my screen!) Why, after opening the situation with a plane, a small wwindow appear "wrong IP adress xxx.xxx.xx.x no NIC with adress found". How to get rid off? I tried completely re-installing OpenSceneryX and then changing the position of the entry in the scenery_packs config file. What my problem is is that my add-on airports won't show up any new scenery, just the default. For example, the Skagit Regional scenery (http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=20921) doesn't show up, just the taxiways and ramp, like default. Any ideas?

Other than the fact that UFMC is payware, and has a custom version for x737 ( an aircraft I do not use ) and XFMC is freeware, what is you experience with both Universal FMCs availavle for X-plane 10? The following video for version 2 looks great, and latest version available is 2.1: XFMC V2 With which aircraft are you using any of the two? Thx for any hints / suggestions...

Ok, after the initial mess, I came up with what I find the best compromise in terms of X-Plane 10 scenery. I have installed the FULL HD Mesh V2, by Andras, which gives a superb coverage out of main towns here in Portugal, and Spain, and am using only Lisbon ZL17 Photoscenery from SimHeaven, and waiting for a few more Airport & City photo sceneries to become available. In the end I will probably hjave 4 or 5 World detailled cities / airports, and the rest will be HD Mesh V2 with default X-Plane scenery. I really think this is a much better option now.

hello-I hope this isn't a question that reveals my "new fish" XPX status, but I'm having a tough time learning the keyboard commands. The easy things as looking left and right (W,E), but auto pilot commands and lowering/raising pilot seat has got me stumped.This there a keyboard layout available? I read the XPX manual and it says hundreds of keyboard commands are available, but I simply cannot find anything past the basics.Thank you

Hi guys. I have a simple question. Who has this livery and where did you get it? Ordered my copy of X-plane 10 Global and expect it today. I am excited to try this sim out and I have chosen the SAAB 340A as my first add-on acrft. Thanx here to the members who have posted photos and answered my questions, this above all else sold me over. I am a FS9er and will continue for the near future, but all the neat stuff about X-Plane made choose it over PD3. It will be a bit of a learning curve I am sure, but so was MSFS when I started back w/ 2000. I expect to be here off and on for newbe questions. Thanx again to all

I've seen a few times now in pictures that on major roadways, there are green (or blue in Europe) signs along them. I tried to locate some in my sim but couldn't. Is there a setting that controls this or some kind of add on?
