How do you stop X-Plane 11 aircraft simply spinning round in circles and instead they follow taxiways to take off and also to have them landing? I don't use XP flightplanner or ATC, as I use Simbrief and either Radar Contact or PF3 for ATC. Must I file a flight plan in XP11 itself to have the AI aircraft react properly? I'm not concerned about having en-route AI but would like a few aircraft taxiing around at my departure and arrival airports. I know about X-Life and World Traffic, but don't want to tax my system too much. Thanks, Stuart

When I moved to XP10 three years ago there were hardly a new scenery or aircraft released a week, sometimes a month. I know many don't agree because this is ruining the freeware community more and more tempted to get some reward from their work, but I'm so glad to see nowadays a new announcement each day. Hello, For a route I want to fly (ZPPP - ZUCK), X-plane doesn't provide STARS for ZUCK arriva. I'm newby in using the FMC, so I was wondering if I can set up an outbound heading after reachting the last VOR on my flightplan, following by setting up an outbound heading for the runway VOR. Hi guys. Is it just me or do other people notice that posts criticising Flight Factor vanish from the face of the Earth, never to be seen again? A recent thread on another forum (which shall remain nameless) has gone astray. I've had my problems in that regard a couple of years ago, when I (quite rightly) asked when they were going to fix the A350 which was promised as 'imminent' on Facebook. Hi guys! Hope all is well. I have been running the Saab 340 in XP11 for some time without issues until today. I loaded up the aircraft at KMIA with real weather (some 11kt winds) and as soon as the aircraft loads cold and dark, it starts rotating and sliding around the airport. I can't get it to stay still even with the brakes on. I know official support for XP11 is not available but I was wondering if any of you have seen this issue. I saw something similar with the IXEG 737 a while ago before they made it XP11 compatible. Thanks Teo

Hi Flight Sim Friends, So I'm currently working on my Private Pilot License, training with a Cessna 152. To repeat and "keep my brain active" I use X-Plane with the Saitek Cessna Yoke. Everything works pretty ok.. I mean it's of course not that 100% reality feeling, but it's ok. The only thing, that drives me crazy is the constant roll. I don't mean any torque or p effects. What I mean is the constant roll into one direction as soon as I move the yoke to the left or right. Even if I center the yoke, the aircraft keeps rolling into the initial direction. To counteract this, I need to move yoke slightly to the otherside, just to center the aircraft. …

Hi Xplaners! It is 2 times in a row I have got bird strikes during flights. 1st one at Vegas, double engine failures right before rotation. 2nd one the next flight at Heathrow, engine fire just before minimum . In between those flights I did set renopt birds =0 in xplane.prf but birds flocks are still there. Guess what it irritate me a lot ^^ We should be able to prevent this. I have the recently updated Chicago scenery I downloaded from the org. It includes the entire downtown area and is quite nice. However, the scenery has animated coastal waves coming in from Lake Michigan, that I'd like to disable. Any way to do this?

Hi there, I just joined actually. I'm a long time flight simmer but I need some help. I just bought x-plane 11 last week and I've been enjoying it immensely with my oculus rift. I have been flying the Cessna and baron mostly doing circuits. I recommend the rift highly. I can't fly anymore though because my mixture now moves with my throttle, like they are bound together. The mixture control does not work with the normal keys or the virtual hand in the rift with fly-inside. It was fine before. I tried disconnecting all my joysticks from the computer with no luck. Even the helicopter shuts itself off after a "start with engines on" option. I tried mapping an …

Hey guys, xEnviro does a goob job, but I noticed a couple of times now that xEnviro doesn´t pick up the correct weather station at my airport. Yesterday I did a flight from EDDM to EDDF. In EDDM the right weather station was at the top of the weather briefing list and it was identical to windy.com data. The weather in EDDF was totally wrong, because xEnviro had LZSH at the top of the list and EDDF wasn´t available. In Zuric it was raining (correct) and now I had the LZSH weather in Frankfurt :-/ . I realize that XEnviro morphs weather data from surrounding weather stations and if a station is missing, it picks another. But this doesn´t make sense :-/ . …

Flying carenado 208 XP11 edition after 11.10 update and the heading setting was off about 15 degrees to left of setting ie... set on heading 330 planes flys 315 degrees heading. Havent tried other AC yet. Will later. Anyone else with issue?

Still a relative newbie to both XP and ortho but getting there.. i had a few questions on autogen/overlays and ortho.. particularly with using World2XP (w2xp) overlays, which i'm just now discovering.. Its my understanding that W2XP america isnt as good as the ortho overlay set until the new version comes out.. Despite this i decided to test it out.. I basically made sure i had the required libraries and world_models folders in the custom scenery.. Questions: Is it ok to have both ortho4xp overlays and the w2xp ones active in custom scenery at the same time, i guess with w2xp at a higher level or maybe in the case of america, under the ortho overlay f…

I have the PF3 Xplane add on and it seems to work fine but I dont hear any atc chatter. Any ideas?

This evening I took out my 5930k and replaced it with my new 6950x. I also have a 1080 ti ftw3 graphics card and 32mb of 2400 ddr4 so it is not a crawling machine. The 5930k was o/c to 4.5ghz and I managed to get the 6950x up to 4.2ghz on first attempt. Before I removed my old chip I tested X-Plane 11 with it, all settings maxed out with me sat in the A2A 182 in San Francisco int, looking out of the window showing 25 FPS on my msi afterburner readout. i swapped the chips and set the exact same situation up and behold, 19 FPS any ideas please. thanks ps.
