Sorry for asking such a stupid question, but I tried to find a way to bind my middle mouse button to mouse look. I cant really seem to find any settings for the mouse at all. Xplane 11 gives me bind options for my joystick and keyboard, but where can I find bindings for my mouse?

I tried to post this at X-Plane forum but could not get it to show up. Maybe they do not let new members post? Anyway, one of their members over a year ago asked the same questions I have today. Why are the pull down menus in X-Plane 11 so small that you need a magnifying glass to read them on a 50 4K inch TV/monitor? Once you are able to get into the "User interface area", they have allowed you to scale up the size in my case 300% so it is readable without a magnifying glass. Hello everyone I have a Big problem on my computer , i can't exceed 10-15 FPS on xplane. With the lowest settings or max settings i have the same number of FPS i try to do a a clean install of windows 10 but the problem persists. My Brother have the same laptop as mine but he don't have any problem (over 40-45 fps). I have noticed that when i run xplane 11on my computer the GPU usage is over 57 % and the CPU usage over 24%. Hey, I just bought X-plane 11 today from the Steam Winter Sale. I have been waiting to get this sim for months. So now the question comes up - is what is the most study level sim aircraft which rivals PMDG/FSLabs aircraft in terms of features, failures, manual, documents etc. Richest Feature set as possible. Most important is developer support level. I hate to buy products when developers is slow to respond or just abandons it. I am paying top dollar for these addons, I except top notch support. Just upgraded PC to 7700k and 14 TBs worth of Hard drive space. Installed Ortho4xp and when running BI tiles at 16 like most of mine are, it took way too long, Over 1.5 hrs compared to 10-20 minutes on Win 7 system. I shut win defender off during process also to no avail. Have current 64bit python, Also the program doesnt auto progress from one step to the next. I have to click on each process to make it happen. Any ideas.

I've gotten back into simming after a long absence and was considering building a home cockpit .... again. (My how the thing gets back in your blood) While wondering around on the web, I came across this site, http://www.simvim.com/ardsimx/index.html which made me think perhaps I now have a use for those Arduino boards I bought years ago. When trying to calibrate my Saitek throttle quadrant I get a warning saying that 'Multiple axes assigned to throttle, prop, mixture. Your controls may not work correctly'. And they don't work at all. I have tried to reset the defaults, but still no change. Is there a fix to clear the assignment s so I can complete the calibration? Neil Bradley

I've started seeing this on a few of my addons. A google search reveals a flap failure? I'm not extending them above a high speed. (white arc generally for props). But XP doesn't show any failures. I extend flaps (at a safe speed) and the plane drastically rolls to the right or left. So much that I can barely maintain straight and level flight without full aileron deflection. It's happened on the vflyte twin comanche, the aerobask viper jet Anyone seen this?

Perhaps, this question has been asked before. Anyway, my question is directed primarily to 'alpilotx' or anyone else who also knows the answer. I have just installed X-Plane 11. I'm interested in also installing 'alpilotx's' Orthoscenery, his HD Mesh v4 and his Forests mesh. Are these applications compatible and do they work well together, or do I need to choose between them, either Orthoscenery or HD Mesh v4? or something else? While the answer will be obvious to anyone who has installed these programs and knows how the programs are structured, I haven't seen anyone ask the question yet. I have my Ortho up and running, but any of the Overlays created by the Overlay Section of Ortho4XP, and generated by w2xp_America are loading. I get the message that a scenery package, or files are missing, so XP11 WILL NOT load yOrtho4XP_Overlays. So, no roads, no moving traffic...nothing...but the Ortho (which looks good). If anybody has successfully created Overlays with the Ortho4XP program, and have used W2XP_America as the sniffer folder, can you PLEASE show me step by step, how to successfully create Overlays for each tile on my World Map, that will work and load in correctly. Yes, I have the Overlay folder ABOVE all my Tiles in the Scenery.ini file…

Want to give a little shout out to the excellent customer service at Laminar. Yesterday having upgraded my computer's Mobo and CPU I could not find my serial email. Normally I am fastidious about saving them but this time it went wrong. Sent an email to Laminar with expectations of hearing back within three days. However, my key was sent to me within 30 minutes and on New Years Day. Superb service from Thomson at Laminar.

I seldom use my TIR with X-Plane, but in the last couple of days decided to give X-Camera a try in order to find a way to limit the "head" movements inside of a cockpit. X-Camera is feature full, but I will not use any of it's excellent stuff for cameras, because that's really not my need in the sim... OTOH I saw Sandy's Pilot View, which is on an old version, but appears to be compatible with XP11 and simpler... What would you recommend ? Any good / straight / direct tutorial links for setting each of these for TIR are welcome!

Hi, I saw where a chap had asked if he already had thr GTN 750 if he could get the 650 at a discount. He was told no. I am thinking of getting the 750 for Xplane 11. I had bought the 750 for FSX but dont fly it anymore. I was wondering in this circumstance would it be possible to get a discount. Regards

First, I have x-plane 11 for 2 weeks, so many is new for me. What is ai traffic? In x-plane 11 I would like to install some ai traffic. (I read nice things about it). Is in this site a tutorial about how to install AI ?

I have seen several posts wishing to be able to zoom in native VR. There is in fact a zoom available, it is the equals key on the keyboard for zoom out and the minus key to zoom back in.

So I have been using Ortho for quite a few months and happy to say almost 1/2 of Continental done. Now, the question. Currently the completed tiles reside on a 4tb external. I have another empty 4tb external that I want to start using and store the rest of the completed tiles. I always make shortcuts to the tiles for the custom scenery. Is there a way to "point" to the new drive or do I have to install a new copy of Ortho? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

When i load x plane vr in steam and start in the hangar i have a normal full image Then i start a flight in the cockpit and i have a picture in picture mainly on the left eye I deinstalled steam vr and reinstalled did several times the room setup problem still exist

Does xp 11 support multi mon in Linux? A friend just upgraded his pc but Linux is not working with his four monitors.
