Hi there! Simheaven released the long anticipated OSM scenery for Europe in XP11. You can use it with stock XP11 scenery, with HD Mesh v4, or you combine it with ortho4XP ortho scenery, which leads to the best results in my opinion, as the placing of the autogen is spot on! Here are a few examples of my hometown Frankfurt, close to EDDF. I use ZL17 ortho photo scenery, and the new X Europe´s OSM data defines, which kind of (default) facade gets placed where. It even has definitions for the type and height of the buildings. The first test shows unbelievably dense and realistic autogen (setting at "high"), with 35-40 fps on my older system (i5 3570 @ 4.3, 16 GB CL9 RAM…

After the creating tile process finish i keep getting error message : Failer there is no file to sniff from the indicated place. When watching tutorials, there seems to be a xplane 11 global scenery folder inside of the global scenery folder. I only have a "xplane 11 demo area" folder inside of the global scenery folder. I thought this was strange Any help is appreciated

While I was in FSX I spent much of my "flying time" around the Hawaiian Islands. I particularly liked the Dillingham scenery from Aerosoft as well as the Megascenery of the entire Oahu Island. I am shocked to find out that the default/stock scenery of Hawaii in XP11 is very barren, like that of a prehistoric island with no roads, no buildings, just land textures and trees! However, the airports are there!! I checked and found some videos on Youtube featuring Ouahu and the rest of Hawaii with very rich scenery and the author claimed it has NO Addons, just stock X-Plane11. Am I missing something?

I can find keyboard or button assignment for Aviation BUS 1, but can't find anything for BUS 2 to turn my G430 on, so mouse clicking is my only option for now Any idea ??? Cheers Yair

Have 11.20vr2 installed now....

Hi folks, 11.20vr1 worked great for me but after vr2 beta yesterday I don't have xplane image in my Oculus whatever I try. The tracking seems to work but the Oculus screens are completely grey.... I unplugged my hotas throttle btw. Is there a way to return to beta 11.20vr1??? Any thoughts? Thanks!!! Jozeff

Hi All. I've bitten the bullet and bought myself an Oculus Rift to try out VR and have been in awe at how amazing it is to actually sit in the cockpit, and you really have to experience it to know how good it is. However, I have a few problems that I hope any long time VR users can help with: I wear glasses, and I have a problem with the glasses fogging up. It's really frustrating and nothing I've tried seems to work. Without glasses it's just too blurry, but I find it very very uncomfortable. After the initial honeymoon period was over, I'm really noticing how blurry everything is. I can barely read the G1000 and programming the GPS is impossible, I can't rea…

I was looking for an instructor station for XP 11 and came up with Simtoolkit, did you manage to use it with IXEG 737? As suggested I run the aircraft and then active the approach but after load, the aircraft fall and I can't control. So it doesn't work, any experience or suggestion?

Hey guys! I'm having a strange issue with the camera in the sim (ironic, I know ). The camera has a weird offset issue. In the cockpit, the zoom seems to guide the camera to the top of the screen instead of the middle (precisely 25% from the top). The view will also distort all the elements at the bottom of the view. Outside of the aircraft, I don't have that issue. Setting the Fractional offset in the Settings will solve the issue in the cockpit but will cause the issue to appear on outside cameras. Context: Anyone is experiencing this issue?

Hi looking for a bit of advice regarding using my mouse to rotate knobs on these aircraft, I'm pretty new to this platform,but decided to buy a couple of addons for it.However I'm having issues with rotating knobs on the aircraft,mainly for the autopilot and light switches. When I hover over the knob I get a white circle with 2 small white triangles inside,one pointing up the other down. but nothing happens when I try using my mouse. this happens on both a/c types I can't find any info with the documentation regarding this. Any ideas or advice Thanks

After 4 days getting to grips with P2A Ihave decided its a must addon, i had my first A to B flt with Sid's, star's, approach but 1 problem all of a sudden iam being told about QNH and NOT the usual Alimiter 29.30 which changes often. Is it a USA thing setting, i tried tunening 29.30 down to 10.30 in flt had to stop that plane went into a step climb..lol any advice guys thanks

So I've designed som nice buildings to add to my airport, my only problem is when I export using the X Plane addon for Sketchup it wont export the colors or textures I" have applied. Could some one PLEASE help, this is reall holding me back from actually building my airport. Ive looked around and cant seem to find an answer to this specific question. I just found this update on Simheaven: In a few days, X-Europe will be online to download. It’s a new scenery using XP11 objects like the standard scenery, but the objects are not set on an autogen rule, they are set like they are in OpenStreetMap (OSM) data, which leads to a more realistic (some people say stunning) look and feel.
