Has anyone tried to make the Main Panel DU and Lower DU knobs functional on the 737-800? (I'm using the Zibo mod, but he hasn't worked on this yet, so I assume it is the same as trying to do it on the default aircraft). I was looking at one of the aircraft config files and it appears they are coded in there.

Still somewhat new in XPlane, primarily because of the FF320. Some questions : 1. Got XCamera, defined my cockpit views and connected them to Joystick buttons. Now, when moving around using the Hatswitch, XCamera automatically takes that as the new camera setting for that and overrides my stored views. That is not intended, how can I suppress that ? 2. Also bought Aerosoft EDDF. It is supposed by have docking system using the Autogate Plugin. Autogate 1.72 is installed in the plugin folder and in the Plugin Menu in XPlane, I see it as enabled. However, I don`t get any docking system to show up, not at any gate. What could be wrong ? Mike

Hello I'm using X-plane 11 I'm trying to assign a new default VC view I have set up to my Logitech joystick. I have moved the camera into the VC position I want But I cannot figure out how to save this new view to the side button as seen below I know how to save Views in general using the Key pad but cannot figure out this one Basically I want to click this button and for it to bring me back to my new VC view (looking forward in the VC) Thank you In advance

I've started getting this error while trying to load the Zibo mod 737.. "Error loading the scenery file: .../B737-800X/b738_vrconfig.txt" Any ideas what that is or how I can correct it?

I'm interested in learning if anyone has any information concerning PMDG's plans on porting out its amazing 737, 777 etc. to the Xplane platform in the future. I'm thinking the DC6 might have been a trial balloon and a foot in the door for future developments that will include its airline fleet. Please no opinions on what the best Sim is. I don't care. Hi, a couple of questions regarding the flightfactor B767 I'm still getting my head round x-plane 11 and have a couple of questions that I cannot seem to find an answer to,hopefully some may be able to provide the answers. 1. My B767 flight deck looks too washed out to me but I cannot find how to darken it to a more reasonable level any ideas? 2. Regarding braking how do I set the braking?. I'm using an x55 joystick and use the fire button to normally control my braking in other sims and one of the toggle switches to select the parking brake on and off. Unfortunately I cant figure out how to achieve this in X-plane 11 Thanks

Hi, I absolutely LOVE and ADORE FlightBeam KIAD for fsx. It is my home airport, and to see even the weird bus vehicles modeled makes me drool. I recently switched to X plane 11 because of performance issues. But the thing is, there isn't any good xp11 KIAD scenery. i heard you can convert p3d/fsx scenery to XP, and if anyone knows how, PLEASE do, and send me the link. I love this airport so much, but i do not know how to convert. Thanks guys!

Hi everyone I'm really enjoying X-Plane 11 with the wonderful Ortho4XP and autogen overlay packages that are available. After 22 years, I have finally uninstalled the MSFS/P3D sims and am now using X-Plane exclusively. I am having a bit of a problem with Ortho tiles at high altitudes (eg FL320 and above). Basically, random tiles will disappear to be replaced with nothing except more sky - not even water is there. You can see that its an entire tile missing as there is a definite rectangular shape. Yeah, this might sound really stupid... I saw a lot of tutorials on YouTube that show how to make scenery for XP11. But they just... explode my mind. I don't understand anything. Could someone either tell me actually how to make good XP11 scenery (I would love to make KIAD scenery, and misterx6 is my inspiration), or link me to a youtube video that won't explode my brain? I know that you can designate airports in the .cfg file that you don't want to flatten--but it has to be a list of every individual airport. You have to name each one by the ICAO code. Is there a way to just not flatten any airports at all? Alternatively, Is there a way I can cut and paste every airport code in the cfg file?

I was just wondering if anyone has heard whether Austin ever plans on changing the contrails to white in Xplane?. Jets do not emit dark vapor in the flight levels. Granted high altitude AI is easier to spot but it does not seem as realistic. Small quibble, I find perfection in everything else Xplane11 has offered to me and it's about as stable as my Win 10 O/S which has never locked on me. I used to have some issues with 11.05 locking if I forgot to pause it and dropped into Windows to use the web. Now I just make sure I pause the sim when I need to use the web during my pilot in command rest periods. Also kudos to Austin for improving the Cirrus gauges. In 11.05 …

So I like Xplane 11 and how it flies. The only let down is the default scenery or lacking of it. When I fly over Atlanta, nothing resembles it, nothing. When I fly in Fsx or Fsw, I can instantly identify certain buildings and scenery where I live. I've been researching Ortho scenery but it seems it is very involving to add and use. Is there any easier solution for this? I've been playing fsw for the most part and would like to start using Xplane so that it wouldn't be wasted money. Thanks

In Portuguese, the word for silliness is "tolice" which reads just as "Toliss" :-) After having embarked ( and proud of having done so ! ) in that superb FF A320, I couldn't resist the Toliss A319, but as the name suggested... was I making a "tolice" ?
