Hey folks, I updated to 1.08 (realizing now 1.09 is out) but figured i'd post anyway since the screen shots ( This magical thread: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/535143-xenviro-v108/?tab=comments#comment-3839014) from 1.08 I saw didnt seem to have this issue. For some reason I have this extreme blue haze on the horizon that it looks like I'm flying over the ocean at all times. I tried playing with all the settings but couldn't seem to figure it out. I tried the 'horizon shift' but it didn't seem to help. I'll give 1.09 a shot and worse case go for a reinstall of xEnviro to see if it helps.

X Europe2 is a great scenery!! I use it with Ortho4xp Ortho Photo is there any way to hide meadows and beaches? Another question: there is the possibility to decrease the height of the buildings to have a more real effect as it is possible to do with the Realist_Forest_Mod_v1.1 plugin?

I am an avid simmer and an instrument rated pilot. The new VR version of X-Plane is a game changer for me. I live in an airpark community west of Chicago and we have a published VOR/GPS approach. With X-Plane 11.2 I can shoot the approach to minimums and it is totally real! I made the video real time and was tempted to edit it, but decided to keep the whole approach. It is about 10 min long. Hi. Bought this plane yesterday. Its my first payware in XP11. RWDesigns. Learned about how to install. Dropped the plane into Aircraft folder from ZIP file. Learned about how to make aircraft icons, that went just fine. Loaded up a flight, the plane shows, the engines are started and there is no sound. The sound environment is turned on. And when I click on avionics switches nothing happens the switches are locked in position and I can't turn on the avionics, but I do hear a switch clicking sound. I purchased the plane command plug in and liked it so much I dropped $27 3 times on the pro version and while I received my License Key via email each time, unfortunately, the directions in the email only direct you back to the screen on the plane command website to either download the plug in or upgrade yet again. I have spoken with a few other people in the facebook messenger xplane 11 addict group and they are having the same issue! I am not able to find the screen to enter the license key to complete the upgrade to pro....I have sent numerous emails to the dev and the only reply I receive is to refollow the instructions in the email you receive when you purchase the u…

Motivated by a discussion in a thread at the .Org I decided to search for the subject and found this old thread. I know I participated in quite a few even before 2012 / 2014, at the .Org and other sites, and discussed it with Austin, as suggested by my last post on that thread... It's been a long time since I devoted time to test it but I believe I've seen user complaints about it still being a bit overdone. Hi all, I'm thinking of getting X-Plane and am wondering what aircraft are good. I'm probably going to have questions about the other types but, for now, I'm thinking about faster GA. I know there's a new Mooney (woot!) in early-release and a TBM950 coming (double woot!) Both of these look good! What else is out there? Thanks in advance. Gregg

The X-Plane.org store shows it as XP-10, but there is an August'17 video review that appears to be using XP-11. Is it XP-11 compatible?? T45

Not a big deal, but I'm trying to assign button to the C172 Dom/ Cabin lights that located right on to of my head. I can control them using mouse but can't find the proper command which enable assigning button or switch. Any idea if there are any ????? Tnx Yair

Hi, I was looking around the flight simulator world for examples of Gulfstream business jets and found none. I was surprised considering the great performance of these aircraft. Maybe there is a restriction from the manufacturer (?). I hope some enterprising X-Plane aircraft design team would pick up the challenge of making one. Back in the day crossing the pond, Gulfstream aircraft would be flying several thousand feet above us at FL410 or FL430. That always impressed me. Let's see one in X-Plane.

Last night I purchased the Beechcraft 60 and was found that many gauges did not work, switches did not work even though I had the "hand" symbol indicating it was an active switch and too boot the X-plane would crash after trying to select other items on the panel. I have read and looked for answers especially to those that have had similar problems but I did not even see the dev offer help. So enough belly aching, before I throw this into the proverbial dust bin. I did notice that this plane has a recip and turbine version, is it possible split a x-plane file so that I have a turbine folder version and a recip folder version? Took a coffee break from flying passengers around the Alberta Foothills in FSEconomy to load up the dot org store, and low and behold, I was rewarded with the sight of this newly released Cirrus. So, ahem, mini-review/first impressions coming in a short while. :wink:

I've just taken a dive in to X-plane and bought XP11. Could anyone tell me if the Khamsim add-ons B-25 and Pacific Islands work in XP11? I'm a big fan of the pacific theater and would love to have these, but can't find a statement if they would work. Some say "XP11 WIP" and the compatbility says X-plan 10.3+ (not sure if that goes through 11 or not).

Hi, A weird fog has appeared in the v1.08, seen in the video here. I've been playing with the "Cocpit horizon shift" slider (fx_camshift in xEnviro.prf) but this is the least fog I can get. The METAR report says 30SM BKN025. Is there anything I am missing? I have uninstalled v1.07 before installing v1.08. Thanks!

How do I make cockpit lightning in XP11 constantly bright (just like in XP10 on this screenshot) without going dark if I turn into the sun? I have managed to turn off all shadows in the cockpit by setting shadow/csm_split_interior to 0 in the settings.txt file and that significantly improved situation, but it hasn't completely turned them off. The cockpit is still getting dark if I turn into the sun.

I am using an old but seemingly reliable (well it was when used for FSX) Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick. I started assigning the trigger switch to brake and that worked fine. I then assigned the "number 12 button" to FMS/key_load and that worked fine HOWEVER now when I press the trigger switch (and 3 other buttons) it results in the screen for FMS/key_load being displayed. Any ideas what I can be doing wrong? Thanks

I’m new to XP 11, having transitioned from FSX which I stuck with since the days of Bruce Artwick’s 1st version of Sublogic/Microsoft FS. Until a good payware 747-400 (PMDG quality) becomes available for XP 11, the default 747 will have to do but, (1) Is there a fix for the heading control knob which doesn’t work (i.e. it doesn’t change the digital read-out when the knob is turned) (2) The pitch trim green indicator along the left side of the center console also doesn’t move when you change the pitch trim, so I can’t tell where I have my pitch trimmed. Would appreciate anyone’s help with these. Thanks in advance!
