  1. Hi all, In the past, I have submitted numerous airports to the gateway for XP 10. One of those submissions is causing problems in XP 11. I used an admittedly odd hack to create 'docks' for a seaplane base (picnic tables over the water). At the time, and maybe even now, there were no floating objects. i.e. objects that would float on the water, whatever the level was. I had to hard code the elevation of the tables. Now they are floating in mid air. So, I downloaded the latest WED and went to import the airport from the gateway so I could fix it and resubmit. I could not find the airport in the list of available airports to import (because I think they only…

    Hello there, I bought World Traffic 3 recently and for some smaller airports (Like my home airport EGAA) that don't have custom scenery but doesn't work with WT3. Because of this I can't make the airport functional with my WT3 in my sim. How do I open default airports in WED, also if you can, how do you open default airports on OverlayEditor so I can get rid of static aircraft. Regards, …

    JV just announced his Roadmap for 2018 and Orbx is going to do XP-11 scenery along with a host of other sims. If you have access to the Orbx Forum go read it and look at the slew of screenshots he posted. Dale

    Just tired running this in XP11 and its amazing - only trouble is when I fly over Heathrow I get an airport without any buildings just runway and airplanes - note have tried changing the location of the GB Pro folder from right at the top using a aaa prefix(above payware airports) to mid way down (after payware aiports) still get no buildings - someone has mentioned something about creating exclusion zones around the airport but not sure what that means.....................any help appreciated?

    hi guys, i have a question about orthoxp. after everything is generated and the tiles and overlays are put in the custom scenery folder, does the osm data thats created from orthoxp of any use? can it be used for roads ect... or do i just need to discard it afterwards? there is a masks and osm data folder, i was curious if it can be used for anything. anyway thanks for any replies, merry christmas and a happy new year.

  7. Hello I've recently picked up X-Plane 11 during the steam sale. I have 12GB of RAM installed on my PC. When I start X-Plane up, in the home screen itself, it is eating up about 9GB of RAM. When I select the default Cessna (without the G1000), and select any airport, and click on launch, it runs out of RAM during loading ! No sceneries, no nothing installed. Turning down the Graphic setting does not seem to change this either. Any help on how to fix this ? Cheers 9W

  8. Hi everyone, I am brand spanking new to X-plane world. Just bought X-plane-11 about 2 days ago. It will take some time to spend some time in this simulator. Got few easy questions. I have one area in sim with HD Mesh 4 and one area with US Ortho Project (Mid-Atlantic region...whopping 128gb size). Now Orth4XP is very cool and all but the space requirements are insane and I only have 512gb SSD (which can not sustain whole lot of Orth4xp).     I’ve spent a long time flying in FSX, with PMDG+FS2Crew being my by far favorite combination. That said, I’ve recently discovered X-Plane 11 and I’m more than hooked. The possibilities seem endless and it runs really smoothly compared to the archaic FSX. There is just one thing missing - a virtual copilot of some sort. As far as I’ve learned so far, there is nothing comparable with FS2Crew so far, apart from the awful Multi Crew Experience . Is there anything that comes close to the FS2Crew experience? Feeling like you have your teammate there? Even if not working through the speech recognition, perhaps there is something like an automated checklist for the co…

    Hello all, I am in the midst of yet another attempt to fly XP11 with multiple screens. I actually have 6 working (which is great) but, they are all exactly the same and all respond to yoke input or scrolls in exactly the same way. Can somebody show/tell/explain to me how to get different displays on each screen please. Also bear in mind that this is probably the very first of many questions to follow.     Hi, I returned to x-plane 11 because of the beta version of the ff320u, which I love! I also like many features in x-plane and I am quite happy with the latest version, except for the popping and slow texture loading at night. And the see through clouds who are ruining IFR flying at night. Are there any solutions to get a more fluid texture loading at night? Jos

    Caveat Emptor. Be aware that if you run X-Plane on networked PCs (e.g. Master PC plus Visuals PC) World Traffic v3 does not support networking. I missed that fact despite reading the product specifications and a number of reviews. This is NOT (I repeat NOT) a criticism of the product because it looks fantastic - it's just a shame that it is not able to fill the AI gap on my XP11 set-up. Should have listened to CJS's suggestion to try the free trial.

    Hi, Today I decided to just update S-Plane to 11.11 (previously on 11.05), and now the game is not starting, it is stuck at the "init plugins" message at the beginning and there nothing else that can be done, the log.txt can not be of any help since the game is still trying to load, and I can not close it so it will not create a log.txt. What can I do to make it load properly BTW it has been trying to load for the past two (2) hours Thank you in advance
