Hey just curious, is anyone running X-plane 11 with a GTX 1080.... and on top of that does anyone run FlyInside XP with a 1080 and can let me know how it handles it. I just bought one and am upgrading from a 780Ti any input is appreciated. Happy flying V-pilots.

Im using the last official release of XP11 (not beta) and Im experimenting with cloud textures but so far I have not found any way to reload the textures while XP11 is running. You have to exit and restart. The sky textures and sunglows can be reloaded but nothing Ive tried reloads clouds. can you help? is there help? :) help me Obi Wan...you're my only hope...

Maybe its just me does anyone else have problems with laminar's Cessna window reflections it, in my opinion, is a little too much.

In the past couple weeks I had an automated Win10 update which messed up many of my X-Plane multi display settings (I have 3-1080 displays) which were working well prior to the update. I had to redo all by settings in X-plane. I also noticed the transponder knob for the FlyjSim Q-400 does not respond on mouseover I get the indication it should work, it turns but when selecting the Transponder Lsk the numbers do not change. It will change from "Off" to "Stndby" and "Active". I turn the knob in all directions - no change from "0000". The Lsk button works and so does ID button. I have also attempted to try the fmc Rad/Nav and cannot change the transponder there either. I …

Hi folks, I'm considering a major upgrade from my ancient PC to a custom build X-plane 11 simulator rig and thinking about investing into a G-sync monitor. My ultimate goal is immersive, stutter free flying with no "judder". With my previous experience with flight sims, I was able to achieve desired level of smoothness and fluidity only with 60 FPS locked on a 60 Hz monitor with V-sync ON. If FPS went below 60, I was getting stuttering OR screen tearing when V-sync was OFF. Obviously I had to dial back some of the settings in order to achieve 60 fps. Hello everyone, I am new to x-plane 11 and as the title suggest I am confused about saving a flight and then loading it in some other point of time. I save it as a situation but when I load it , the gears are down,auto pilot behaves strangely for some time until I fix it and most importantly the data in the FMC is somewhat lost except the LEGS page. And does saving the flight as a situation saves the state of 124thatc ?

I have recently encountered an issue in my Jardesign A320 which I cannot seem to resolve and which apparently only relates to US airports: After I set up my flight plan (in this case KSAN to KSEA) and I check it in the nav display, I notice that the last part of the STAR is not aligned with the runway (as you can see in the screenshots below). Good Day all Having been an msfs flyer for years I decided to have a look at xplane I have downloaded the xplane 11 demo but when I double click the installer exe it opens briefly and then I get the message "xplane 11 installer.exe has stopped working" I can get the xplane9 demo to run but get the above message when I try xplane 10 OR 11. Hello everyone, I recently shifted to xp11 from p3D and my problem is that I get screen tearing if i set v-sync to half refresh rate through Nvidia control panel. Although the fps is locked at 30 but there is screen tearing, any solution ? My another query is that, should I use RTSS instead of 1/2 refresh rate ?

All, There is a new version released specifically for P3Dv4/XP11 64 bit on November 17. The features listed at the Pilots site are the same, but this version cost 10 EUR more. Unfortunately I could not find anything more than the description saying that it's 64 bit. The funny thing is that XP10 is already 64 bit, so what's really is the difference other than supporting XP11? Since I already have the previous version, the upgrade is 20 EUR, rather than just the difference in the two version. Before I buy it for XP11, I would like to know more about it. Thoughts? Among the weather engines out there for XP10/11 should I still stick with FSGRW? Thanks

Use X-Plane 11 only with what it offers when we buy, we do not have dd-ons installed. One thing I find strange is the reactions of the aircraft when we trigger AP and A / T, the impression I have (compared to reactions on P3D-V4 or FSX-SE aircraft), are very immediate and abrupt in X-Plane. At the start of beta round 11.10 there was a problem where the flaps moved very fast when triggered, but was fixed. I noticed this too in X-Plane 10, when I started using X-Plane. Which simulator reflects the reality in the question that I present, X-Plane or the others? João Alfredo

Hi Guys So I'm zipping along in the default 737 and about 40 miles from the airport, the entire program goes blank, and then after a few seconds the desktop reappears. Everything in Xplane is default except the 124th ATC program. Seems I read somewhere after a quick google search that the fault would show up in the log file. So I copied and pasted it below.
