Since there is no room available for General fsx problems I will post here.FSX has developed a problem where two imputs usually used for prop control are now controlling my throttle inputs.I've tried to cancel all I can think of that would be causing it but the problem persist.Deleted FSUIPC.Checked and removed any axis assignments in FSX controllersChecked to make sure no assignments are in my Goflight throttle Config file. Also checked and confirm the throttle quadrant is not faulty and FS9 has confimed that so its only happening in FSX.Moving the throttle inputs has no affect on the prop axis thoughVery temperamental as I had not played fsx in months after flying only F…

Hi, I am able to get a USED Thrustmaster cougar for $150 and want to know what you guy think about some things.1) Is it worth it?2) Do you think the pots will need replacement and if so what do I use?3) how does it rate compared to say, a Saitek x52?4) Some people rate it 5 stars and some rate it one, so I would like some feedback from people who own or have owned this stick.Quick replies greatly appreciated due to the fact someone may have bought it within the week.ThanksNed

Currently flying in FSX with my PS3 controller emulated as a 360 game pad which is, well less then optimal. I'm looking for a throttle and a yoke/joystickDon't really like whats on the market so far --X52/X52PRO -- heard of a lot of issues with the internal spring, and also easy wear and tear.CH yokes/joysticks/throttles -- plastic, looks cheap, and heard of a 'stickiness' issue, I'll gladly pay more for something made out of metal.Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog -- looks beautiful, heard it performs extremely well but it can also die on you if you don't ground yourself (??!!). Expensive and its specifically tailored for the AC-10 game. There are all these other companies like …

Good afternoon,For Christmas I got the Saitek Yoke, Throttle and Rudder pedals. Everything is going very well except for 1 problem. I cannot release the brakes. I have the toe left and right set as well as the rudder pedals but it states that I have the brake depressed and I know I dont. Any ideas?Brian A. Neuman

As the title suggests, I am missing the frame limiter setting in the profile common section despite having inspector v 1.9.5.7 and the Geforce 290.53 beta driver installed. I am using an MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II card.Would anyone know why this might be the case? Thanks!

Hi,I have a serious problem with the pedals of the G940, I calibrated everything and everything works just fine however the pedals cause unwanted movements so I have to pull to the other side to get the airplane fly "normal", in FSX the plane either moves to the right or to the left in FS2004 I can't even control the plane, the pedals create movements which I don't do, in FSX this ruins the AP and the entire flight, in FS2004 I doesn't allow me to control the plane at all, with the Airsimmer it's the worst scenario, it keeps dragging the plane to the side without making me able to do anything, and since I can't know how much I have to counter control it, I can't trim, I'v…

Hey gang,Just curous if anyone has gone from the Track IR4 to the Track IR5, and what their impressions might be?I am one that kind of likes to have the latest and greatest on some things - currently I have been running the Track IR4 Pro for some time, and have been very pleased with it. I know the Track IR5 is supposed to have higher resolution and maybe greater angle of view, but am unsure if there is truly any noticeable difference between the two. I know the step up from the Track IR3 to the Track IR4 was huge, and am sure it will not be that big a steup from the 4 to the 5.Has anyone made this upgrade and felt it was worth it?Thanks for any feedback ,

Happy holidays everybody!I'm having problems with the profiler software for Saitek yoke.I can create a profile and assign the key strokes to the yoke buttons, but when try to test them in the Test window the buttons do nothing. So the software does not translate the yoke button press to the assigned keybord keys. The buttons don't work in FSX and don't work in a notepad (as a suggested method of testing the key assignments).I've reinstalled drivers and the profiler - nothing helps.I know I can use FSUIPC, but as I understand it will not allow me to use the Mode 1,2,3 yoke functionality, so only one set of buttons will be available.Did anybody have this problem? Or maybe so…

I would like to "neaten up" my system. Is it OK to run my controllers thru a couple of 4 port usb hubs?I think running HD's thru them slows performance but what about controllers?I have yoke,mouse,keyboard,pedals,trackIr,2 Saitek throttle quadrants. Thanks,Rn

Hi,I have a serious problem with the G940 - although I've calibrated it the pedals seem to cause uncontrolled movements, sometimes it just activates the rudder although I'm not even touching it, sometimes it simply keeps a bank to the left or right, which is a serious problem, pressing NUM5 helps for 1-2 secs only? What can I do? I've allready got a replacement from Logitech, but that didn't solve anything?

I'm having some issues with a BU0836X...I bought a BU0836X a few months ago to replace the controller in a Saitek yoke. Everything was working great, but recently I noticed some issues.I observed some noise in the elevator control (Y axis) around the center position. As I move the yoke, there's considerable "jumping" around, which smoothes out at the extremes of the axis. This is visible under the Control Panel Game Controllers BU Test tab (the + cursor exhibits this behavior) but it is not apparent during calibration (displaying the raw data). That is, the raw data seems to increase smoothly regardless of axes positions, but after calibration it's "jumpy".It seems odd tha…

For the longest time I have used the Microsoft Sidwinder joystick for my flight simming, but it is time for me to upgrade. Plus the stick I have now is on the way out (no matter how many times I calibrate it my plane can not stay on the centerline of the runway during take off (it always veers to the left or right) with no wind).I don't have a lot of money to spent (the Saitek PRO Flight X-65F is much to expensive for me). I am looking to spend in the $100 to $115 range. What would you reccommend?

I've just one question. How long does it take for an InSight product to be delivered once it is ordered. Do they build each panel as they receive the order or is this a boxed product that a vendor will have on the shelf. I ordered this thing on December 15th from the Flight Sim Store. They sent the usual receipt on the same day it was ordered. The next day, December 16th they sent a confirmation of the order. On December 18th they sent this: The comments for your order areOrder picked for delivery. On the 19th I wrote to VRinsight, gave them the order number, and asked if any action was taken to ship the product.........no reply.........December 20th I wrote the F…

Hi Experts,I have purchased the new GoFlight GF-WP-6 Annunciator a week ago.I installed the new GFConfig V2.03 and I can configure the board via GFConfig.Starting FSX the board works depending on the selected aircraft.1. Beechcraft Baron (FSX idle) : e.g. "Stall", "GPS/Nav toggle" ...2. Boeing 737-800 (FSX idle) : working: "Stall", "Pull up", "GPS/Nav toggle", "Terrain" NOT working: "Master Alert", "Master Caution"3. Boeing 737-800 NGX (PMDG): does NOT work anything! So here my questions:1. Does anybody has some experience with the GF-WP-6 and PMDG 737 NGX?2. Is there any discussion already around this topic that I may have overseen? (surved a lot but could…

Hi all, I'm considering purchasing the saitek pro flight yoke and was wondering if it's possible to assign the rudder control using the pov switch located on the yoke. I own trackir 5 and therefore do not need the pov switch for looking around and cannot really afford to spend the extra $95 to buy the pedal set. Thanks in advance for any response. Terry

Please help. My saitek configuration has lost the plot. For some strange reason the yoke has decided to start operating the trim wheel. When I turn left or right the rudder trim kicks in either raising or lowering the nose sharply depending on the direction of the turn. The turn (or bank) "function" is still working as originally mapped. I have reset all of the assignments in FSX and re-applied the axis settings only to find I have the same issue. I recently installed Earth Simulations "Guersey VFR scenery" but I can't see why this would have caused this problem. I also have FSUIPC installed and use it for calibration. Am I right in assuming that the configuration file m…

Hello,I am thinking about getting the Saitek Multi Panel, is it fully customisable through SPAD to assign specific keystrokes such as the Switch Panel? For example, if I select a specific autopilot function for the PMDG 737NGX in FSX, and assign something like Ctrl+A to it and then type that in into the respective Multi Panel function in SPAD, will it work?Thank-you in advance for any suggestions.

I have Saitek Cyborg X joystick which I am using in FS 2004.I am pretty much satisfied how it works, x and y axis are quite good, but z-axis (twist) is little too sensitive, I think.I have made settings in FS2004 so that rudder is least sensitive and null zone to 0, but again twist is too sensitive. Every time I twist it a little bit, it moves rudder too much.I don't know how it is in real airplane or maybe with rudder pedals in FS, so if anyone can share some experience on this, I would appreciate.

Hello! I was thinking about purchasing the Saitek Yoke! I have a few questions though. 1) Does the yoke come with the throttle quadrant?2) Do I have to have the registered version of FSUIPC?3) What would you rate the Saitek Yoke to a scale of 100?Thanks!P.S. Oh and it might be something wrong with my computer but all my downloads are notepad. I use Vista. Thanks! -jayflies737

Hello !Kind of frustrating, If you a increase sensitivity of the wheel, in moves in higher increments, you can get the values at about the 300, where the increments are 40 to 50, no good, if you decrease sensitivity, increments are 1 or 2, which is what I'm looking for, but, than you can go only up to 59, which does okay with the 172SP, but useless for the other birds..Any Idea ????? Hi everyone Ok .... I have connected a set of Simped pedals to my system using FSX and I am having a hell of a job configuring the toe brakes ... What's happening is the brakes stay on when I have applied them and then let my feet off the pedals If I press the period key on the keyboard this will allow the brakes to come off but as soon as I touch the pedals again they are on permenantly . Now I have tried the little trick . with raising the sensitivity slider and making sure the Null Zone is far left ... I have also tried reversing the toe brakes in the control axis section but still no joy ... I then thought let's try doing this through FSUIPC ..... but once again the b…
