Hi Guys.Just picked up the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke at Futureshop tonight, now before I return it to the store, am I missing somthing obvious here? I have the mount that the throttle attaches to with screws, but there is no fitting to go in the mount for the clamp? It's just three holes..... no fittings, and there are none in the box.. Did the store frig this up or am I not thinking clearly? I can't attach it to the desk because the clamp bolt just flops around in the holes.ThanksShane

Has anybody tried mounting an iPad to a flightsim yoke, such as with a device like this? It doesn't seem like an iPad is too heavy, and that the yoke should be able to take it, but I was wondering if anybody had tried it yet.

Hi,I've recently bought a new steering wheel for my computer and I'm wondering whether it's possible to use the pedals within flight simulator. I'm not sure whether this is possible as they connect to the steering wheel which is then connected to my computer. I don't want to use the steering wheel for control as I already have a joystick. I would appreciate it if anyone can offer any advice on how to go about doing this if it is indeed possible.Cheers,

I want an overhead panel that could work with all aircraft. I am thinking of building one and just putting switches which hit keyboard keys when they are pressed and programming the keyboard for overhead buttons.Any out there that are cheap or easy to build?

I have owned my Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals for a few years now, with trouble free operation. But just recently, I'm have run into a strange problem that I have found that no one else has, at least from my research so far on google.According to the Windows 7 calibration software, my left toe brake is stuck, as in it's depressed fully. The left toe brake itself is not physically depressed, and I can't see any visual evidence that there is a hardware issue, nor do I hear any strange noises when I pivot the brake. I would try opening the hardware to diagnose, but before I go to that trouble, I wanted to see if there is a way I can resolve this via a software fix. …

Hi Received a G940 today and all seemed well until I noticed in FSX there were no force effects what so ever. I can feel the resistance of the motors but nothing else so I tested it with Wings Of Prey and IL-2 and sure anough no feedback effects in any game. Am I missing something as I would expect some effects like guns or stall shake or running on grass but nothing even smashing the 172 into a maintain produced no effects. Both my operating systems are Windows 7 64bit with no UAC. I have the latest firmware/software and am launching the games from the profile with FF tuned on in profile and in game and still nothing, so any help would be nice. Thanks

Hey all,Yesterday I finally got my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, Throttle, and Rudder Pedals. (Still waiting on my Switch Panel)After some "teething" troubles, I finally got it up and running, with only 2 big issues, One I found the fix for here in the forums, the other I haven't, so here goes.My Controller assignments in FS9 aren't sticking. After I shut down FS9 and restart I have to re-assign certain assignments and "fix" others.Specifically, the Rudder Pedals always have the X and Y Axis assigned to the Elevators and Ailerons, and the Rudder is assigned to a button instead of the Z Axis, plus there is one other thing thats assigned to a button. So every time I start up FS9,…

Can anyone please clue me up as to how to stop my MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick from spiking the AP in my PMDG 747-400 when trying to use the hat buttons configured for the FS2Crew Main Button and Secondary Button during the climb-out phase. The minute I just touch the joystick I get an AP disconnect and the aircraft plummets. The Sidewinder is USB-connected and powered up too.I tried putting check-marks in the registered FSUPIC under Misc tab but it made no difference.Thanks.

I've been messing with this thing for some time and don't feel like I'm making any headway.I even purchased the FSUIPC registered version once thinking it might help.Basically, I'm getting phantom movements mostly on my flaps control. The unit seems fine in the Windows Control Panel so I don't think it's the Pods.I just finished a flight with my Boeing 757 and not only did I have to keep a second view of my flaps lever shown so I could easily see where my flaps settings were, I also lost all control of my throttles. Quite the bummer trying to land this beast like this. It probably took me 20 tries. What I've tried:1. I removed all FSX assignments and GOFLight assignments a…

I've been using the free limited FSUIPC for at least 3 years - essentially for my Saitek Multi and Radio panels. All of a sudden, FSUIPC does not register, it does not show up in FSX. Tried reinstalling, did not work. Appreciate any help. Can the Saitek panels be used WITHOUT FSUIPC? If so, HOW?Thanks.Abe

I have an Logitech Extreme 3d joystick which works fine on my WinXP system.I built a new Sandy Bridge/REVO HYBRID Win7 Home Premium system with all the bells and whistles.I load FSX Acceleration and tried to fly. Here's what it does right....The joystick transmits all the analog inputs from the x and y axes when I am in virtual cockpit mode.Rudder pedals and stick operate as expected. All the buttons seem to work.I know how to calibrate the stick, and I know how to adjust the sensitivities and nulls.I can set the realism settings from easy to hard. All to no avail. Here's the problem..........The plane itself does not fly or react even though the pedals and stick work OK???!…

I'm using FSX with Saitek Throttle Quad (with the Saitek drivers) and MultiPanel (with SPAD). When I fly the Eaglesoft CJ-1 on an ILS approach using the Appr mode, everything goes fine until I disengage the A/P. At that point, the A/P is still in control of the throttle settings (as if it is still running and controlling the approach) ... if I click the IAS button on the Multipanel, the engines spool down and I can control the remainder of the approach -- even with that, sometimes I have to run the Throttle Quad up and then back down to where I want the throttle setting. This creates too much excitement at a critical time!Has anyone encountered this problem? Any ideas?Th…

Hello,I just received the Saitek Radio panel and started setting it up. I've run into a couple of minor problems and have some questions. My Set Up:FS9Registered FSUIPCSPAD - just downloaded for the radio panelI primarily fly PMDG Md-11 and I used that plane to test the radio panel. I loaded up the MD-11 at the default airport and noticed I had to run SPAD in the background for the panel to light up. Is that correct? The panel will not light up until I load up the aircraft. The instructions state the panel lights up once the USB cable is plugged in but that didn't happen for me. Does the panel only light up when in the aircraft?Does SPAD always have to be running? …

Hi,I have both BlackShark 1 and Black Shark 2, and was wanting to complement them with the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick (FFB2) in light of what I've been reading on the forums about the benefits of adding force feedback effects to these sims.So it's on my Christmas list.Wifey reports that they're not being made any longer, so it's an eBay purchase. Yet there are so many variations on eBay.I have a Windows 7 system. Obviously, I need the USB cable and power cable, right? What about manual and CD-ROM? I would guess "no," but didn't want to end up with something that just wouldn't work. Many thanks for any advice!! Daddy Schlich

Has anybody tried the VRinsight MCP or M panel lately? I've found a few comments that were a little dated, but not a whole lot of user feedback over all. I'm looking hard at trying one or the other and would appreciate some comments from recent users. Thanks!

Many years have gone by since i started flightsimming. And as time progress, so does my "cockpit". From a sad looking joystick to a good flight yoke, rudder pedals and throttles, track ir and what not, ive just wanted more and more. But now, it has come to the point where am looking at getting some real looking hardware like an MCP, FMC or a small overhead. I suppose you all know how expensive this is, and i really dont wanna spend 1500 euros on an overhead or similar. So, does anyone know about any hardware thats in a cheaper range? Im actually thinking about making my own buttons and panels, but im not good at programming, at all.. Could learn it though!
