Hi,I am looking to buy a full motion flight simulator. I'm not too picky about which plane it is for, a 737ng or md11 or any airbus or boeing heavy plane would be nice. I'd like one that is what real pilots use for training. I did a google search but i wasn't able to find any. Does anyone know a good manufacturer i could contact? And yes i can afford it, i recently came into a lot of money so lets not discuss price thanks.

Hey! I just got I new joystick but I'm having issues with the throttle. I was landing at KORD today with the default 737 when I was just about to touchdown, I pulled the lever on my throttle to go back to idle but it only went to the "UP" position. I also realized that if I push the throttle to full, I wouldn't get full throttle and only about 85-90% throttle. Can someone help? Oh, and the joystick is a poor one, I know but it is a Thrustmaster 2960623 usb flight stick (That's what it was called when I bought it. Didn't have a straight name) Thanks, Justin

my x52 is currently experiencing a weird issue where one of the trigger buttons dont work properly when the drivers are installed also the mode switch button no longer works. i wonder if its an issue with the joystick itself or some issue with. the drivers maybe?

I have a severe problem with TrackIR and the Saitek Backlit Info panel:1) Just running TrackIR with other hardware (Saitek Yoke, Throttle Quadrant, Rudder Pedals, Switch Panel, Multi-Panel, Radio Panel and VRInsight's MPanel: no problem at all.2) Just running B.I.P is ok as well.2) add BIP-Panel to TrackIR: CPU-Usage of TrackIR jumps from 0-3% to a constant 25%, framerates drop to 4fps every 5 seconds or so and everything is real laggy. So I've been looking high and low for a solution to this issue with my X52 Pro. My Y and X axis are no longer functioning like an axis, but a switch. Any movement of the stick (in both FSX and DCS:A-10) results in instant and full deflection of the flight controls on that axis. This is backed up by the data values that I get when calibrating the stick in FSUIPC, going immedeatly from 0 to +/- 16384, full value. Sure, sounds broken. But what is strange about this is that in the device properties page accessed from the control panel, the X/Y axis show normal linear deflection through the entire range of motion on both the testing and deadzone settings tabs, and this has me…

Just installed FS2004 on a new computer after almost two years of no computer or flightsimming. FS was running great with my PMDG add-ons, so I plugged in my X52 and installed the latest drivers and programming software to map some keys. Ever since then, I cant go more than a few minutes without a blue screen crash. I tried removing the software, and FS worked fine. Then installed it again, blue screen again. Any one got the mouse/slew mini joystick on the Warthog throttle to pan views in FSX or P3D? Is it possible with just FSUICP? I have not tried the TARGET software yet. Thanks, gb.

Button 6 supposedly works, and is the default retract flaps incrementally button. However when I press it in fsx nothing happens. I looked down at the display, before the button is pressed it says Mo where mode should be, and after it says Mode, and above sometimes it says shift. Also the mode select button appears not to work, does anyone have a suggestion?

Hi, just in the middle of trying to set my Saitek system up now on the throttle I have got the right hand leaver set as flaps all working fine 0-flaps at top and full at bottom, I have also got my throttle middle lever working fine including reverse thrust the problem I am having is when I try to apply spoilers I can get them on but not off no matter what I do with the lever when I move it back and forth in v/c mode the leaver just twitches can someone please point me in the right direction as am sure this is an easy fix if you know how

Hey all, you may have seen my other thread asking about the different throttle/yokes I was considering. I did end up deciding on the Saitek due to its cost and seemingly decent quality. I do want to use them for jet operations with my PMDG NGX & AIRBUS X EXTENDED. i plan to get a second throttle quadrant in order to use more functions on it, but I have a couple questions. #1 For reverse thrust use, I heard about the detent and hooking it up that way. But since there are 2 engines, is it possible to assign a button to each engine for thrust reverser, or is it limited to one, that then works on both engines? #2 How well do flaps work on there? Looking for an opinion here, there is not right or wrong answer, but I need some direction. I currently run FSX on an i7 3770k OC'd to 4.2 Ghz, an NVidia GTX560, and 8 Gig DDR3 RAM. In FSX, I think I may be a bit bottlenecked by my GPU, and am not sure if springing for a GTX 580 or 670 will give me that much improvement. I also have started flying more aircraft that require a stick, including helicopters, but currently have only a PFC beech yoke, saitek pedals, with a saitek TQ. My FSX budget is about $500, so my choice here is to either spring for the HOTAS Warthog and forget about a video card, or spend about $300 on a GPU and get a cheaper stick, like the…

So, I'm finally in the market looking for a throttle and yoke to work on my 737NGX with. I already have a joystick to use with my Airbus X Extended. I saw the Saitek ones and immediately realized they were geared more towards GA simmers. Is there anything out there that is very reasonably priced*, but for airliners? If possible, I'd like it to have a Gear Extend/Retract, a spoiler lever, and reverse thrust. I could do without the first two, but I think the latter is a necessity. Hi All, I am in a bit of a situation here. I've purchased the Opencockpits Plug and Pray EFIS and MCPv3 for use with my PMDG 737 NGX. I simply cant get the to work! I have downloaded the SIOC and the OC4BA software. I have configured the sioc.ini file to accept the units The SIOCmonitor detects the keypresses and the LEDs on the MCP light up if i use the monitor to turn them on. I have tried starting SIOC and OC4BA first and the fsx - the opposite and all other imaginable combination.. It simply won't work - the PMDG simply doesnt react (i've tried loading the cold and dark panel state too - no success) I dont know what i'm doing wrong. Plea…

Hi, I have been having intermittent connection issues between one of my joysticks and FSX. I use three hardware controllers - a Saitek rudder unit, CH Products Yoke, and CH Products Pro Throttle. All three are connected to a Belkin 4 port USB Hub. The hub itself, while rather old by today's standards, appears to be working fine. However, I have been noticing when I startup FSX and load a flight, the throttle unit refuses to respond in the sim. I bring up the calibration setup in FSX, and FSX sees the device, but there are no readings when I test the buttons/lever. Hi, I know there is a post related to this but it explains how to config HOTAS using FSUIPC to config the reverse thrust but PMDG recommends to not use FSUIPC to do this, I was wonder has any have a PMDG FSX profile? has any have configured the reverse thrust using TARGET? or LINDA? Thanks

I've been using my trusty Saitek X52 for the past 5-6 years or so, and I've never had any problems using the twist rudder on the stick, but I was recently thinking of buying the pro flight rudder pedals. I mainly fly the NGX, MJCQ400 and soon to be the PMDG 777, are the rudder pedals worth the $100 price? Thanks

I can advance the thrust lever to roughly 15% and everything's fine. But as soon as I advance it just a little bit further the aircraft suddenly applies full thrust as if I had moved it all the way to the stop. When I advance it even more everything is fine again and the thrust is set according to the position of the thrust lever (which is then just above 25%). I of course get into huge trouble during landing when I want to adjust the thrust lever but the engines suddenly accelerate like mad.

Hi, I'm using the saitek proflight multi panel and the proflight switch panel. I'm running the latest SPAD drivers and everything was running great until yesterday the LCD display stopped working on the multi panel and the landing gear lights on the switch panel. The buttons and dials still operate things in the aircraft. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SPAD and its not made any difference. When in quit SPAD completely and reload it the flashing display and light test works on the panel so none of the components have failed. Can anyone help please?

My old hard drive became corrupt and today I purchased a new one. After hours of reinstalling my flight sim stuff, my CH Pedals/Yoke are not being recognized. However, my Saitek X52 throttle is recognized and works fine. I have updated the drivers for all my computer parts but it is still not working. I couldn't find any drivers for the yoke/pedals. I am using Windows 7 64 bit. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem. Thanks a lot.

Hi I have the aforementioned yoke which I recently bought second hand. The problem is when I turn the yoke slightly to the right the virtual yoke in the ac cockpit mirrors the slight input exactly. But when I make the same input but turning the yoke left there is no movement in the virtual yoke. There is a huge null zone turning the yoke to the left, I would say the null zone turning to the left is about 4 times bigger than turning to the right. I really have to turn it a good distance before the yoke in the VC turns. I have tried all the recallibration settings and altering null zones and sensitivity, the problem being that no matter what I do the right turn a…
