Hi all,With Nhancer alone good framerates.I use it to enhance the image quality.I wanted to overclock my graphics card so I downloaded RivaTuner.It was only used to overclock.Framerates in FSX are 3 now.I un-and reinstlled RivaTuner, but the same thing.Then I downloaded the oc utility form EVGA.The same thing . Framerates 3. When Nhancer is alone on my pc no issues.Anyone knows how to oc my graphics card ?

Hi all,At the moment I am able to use a borrowed anlog version with my 3 widescreen monitors.Because the analog edition has no support for widescreen resolutions I now have a resolution of 1024x3840.The image quality is good.If I would buy a digital verion that supports 1060x5040 (Matrox firmware update ) would it :a/ be much better in image quality ?b/ have much less frameratesHas anyone upgraded from analog to digital and knows this ?

I know there are some brilliant and knowledgeable people here regarding the internal and performance of FSX but I have yet to be given some clue to the problem I have had with FSX for some time. When flying in FSX for a while, after going to "Menu" (alt key) and making a selection, when returning to 3d, graphics are corrupted. If I then apply "alt + enter", sometimes it straightens out but most of the time, not. I am using latest nvidia drivers plus enhancer. I may be wrong but I believe this is related to memor or memory management. I never get memory errors.My questions are:* Could and is it possible for FSX and addons to use more than 4g of memory?* Has anyone else …

I've just upgraded my monitor and installed an HP2159m which has a1920 x 1080 native resolution.Previously FS9 was giving me up to around 30+fps (15 - 20 in heavy scenery) and performed nicely but now I get a slightly lower performance at system start and then after a few minutes running the thing grind down to 1 to 2 fps. Leave it a bit and suddenly the performance seems to come back for a while but then its clunk clunk clunk again.I've tried updating and back tracking on video drivers (I'm currently running Nvidia's 182.50 drivers) but with no real difference.I'm running on a box with 2.40 gigahertz Intel Core2 Quad, Nvidia 8800 GTS and 2G memory.I'd welcome any advice …

Hi GuysI recently bought Flight Simulator X Gold Edition, Deluxe and Acceleration are both installed, but im having trouble playing it.I load free flight up, after 25secs (everytime) the following happens. I have FSX running on Win 7 64 using TripleHead2Go with 3 monitors (3840x1280) on a GTX280 card.I have just added a 4th monitor, but when I maximise FSX it goes dark. My intention is to use the 4th monitor for various other programs.I do not want to run FSX in window mode, so what can be done about this?

Hi , I am still using fs9 on a p4 3.2 with a 9800 pro 128 mb card , the fps that i am currently getting with everything maxed is between 10 & 20 fps on average.In order to try & increase fps i have ordered a 2nd hand radeon 3850 512 mb agp card after reading some reviews online.However I have been reading about possible driver issues on this forum :( Does anyone use this card for fs9/fsx & if so is it any good or have i just wasted

HiI have an oldish machine - Intel Core 2 Duo6600, WindowsXP SP2, ATI AGP x800 vid card.Having had this for a few years, I have many times reformated the Hdd and reinstalled Windows and all programs etc. Format the Hdd, install Windows, install MOBO drivers, install Vid card drivers. - never ever had a problem.BUT - this time, there is something wrong with my vid card. Everything was working very nicely before getting a Trojan - which required me to reinstall. In DXDIAG, I have no Direct3D available. Have tried EVERYTHING - , reinstalled Windows, latest MOBO drivers, latest DirectX, tried many different drivers (having cleaned out old ones with Driver Cleaner) But no goo…

Today I had the chance to try a GTX295 from Asus on my system.To see what it did for FSX I first did a bencmarktest with my current GTX260 Black Edition ( factory overclocked ) and then with the GTX295.As the GTX295 was for someone else I did not overclock it.The GTX260 B.E. is comparable to a GTX280 ( in benchmarktest the GTX260 B.E. is slightly faster ). Hi GurusI recently have been changing my Graphic Card, from ATI Radeon x800xt-256Mb - to a ATI Radeon hd4650-1Gig - on my old P4-3.4 Gh Dell dimension 8400 PC.After installing the card and ATI driver, I see a yellow "?" in the device manager called "PCI device".It needs a driver. Where and/or how do I see what type of driver I need. When I hit Reinstall driver it the PC suggest to go to the internet to find the driver.The problem is that my FS-computer hasn't an internet connection. I may be the only person in the world that doesn't know this but I am confused about the driver numbering.For instance, my current driver is file version 8.15.11.8593. How does that convert to driver version. eg. 190.62, or 180.5 or whatever. I don't quite see the connection. What would my current driver version be?Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me.Jim

I don't know what it is called. I've read about stutters and micro stutters, but those problems seems to be caused by FPS drops, right?This is not a big problem, but a bit annoying. My problem is my FS9 is not running as smooth as I want it to. The picture is like freezing sometimes for a very, very short time. Not for seconds, but for a hundred of a second maybe, or something like that. Not sure, but it's very short. This happens for example when in the 2D cockpit and making a fast turn on the ground, or following the aircraft from spot view.And according to FRAPS there are no changes in FPS recorded. The Quality is not great but you can see how this card will run FSX. I get about 7-15 FPS more then with my GTX285.The AA is not as good as it is with the GTX285, but it is not bad. Of cores you can activate AA Super Sampling for the 5870 but then the FPS drops.I'm simming (USA, Europe, Australia) now for about 12 hours with this card and I love it! For me it was the right choice!More videos are coming.

This latest driver suite and also latest nHancer, seems to work fine with each other.Good performance in FSX, at least on par with the older 182.50's.If anybody else wants to bring their driver suite and nHancer up to date, it looks like a 'go'. :)
