Hi!I did a small system upgrade and got Nvidia GTS 250 card to replace Ati Radeon 4670.Now everything runs exactly as I expected as long I do following.- Load Pmdg M11 at a dense airport in full screen mode all setting maxed with single monitor, FPS stable at 50 (locked)- Go to Windoved mode and move overhead panel into monitor 2 and back to fullscreen mode again, FPS between 15-20 regardless of the locationI have latest Nvidia driver and Nhancer configured as should. I have the following system:i5 @ 3.78Ghz (180*21, 1.29v)BFG 8800GT OC 512MB8G OCZ DDR3 1600Mhz Gold Low Volt running 1080SATA Seagate 160G SATA W7 64I have my FSX tweaked with Nick N's but I still got some lag especially in large city like RJTT. I have my scenery set to high with very dense scenery complexity and dense auto gen. I also have REX2, GEX, and ASA running. I'm flying at 1280*1024.I took off in my A2A J3 at RJTT and it was REALLY lagging even though the FPS is showing 30 (Set to unlimited and use FPS limiter to 30) with occasional drop to the teens. So I got my new video card, and am having some problems getting it started. I'm using Vista 32.I was previously using an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT. I've uninstalled the Catalyst Control Center with the add/remove programs option, and deleted and uninstalled the integrated display drivers using the device manager menu.The physical installation of the new card works like a charm- but when I turn it on, the monitor stays on standby mode, and nothing shows up. The computer itself works, and I can type in the password, hit enter, and hear it log in, but nothing at all will show up on the monitor. I'm very much a newbie, so bare with me..I have FSX installed with 3 monitors side by side using AMD/ATI eyefinity so its 'one' desktop (I'm guessing this is similar to the TH2G?).When i start FSX my cockpit is enormous.. i'd like the instrument section to be mainly in the center monitor.. So I guess I want to move my point-of-view 'back wards' inside the cockpit?Any way to do this? Been googling like a madman and still sort of stuck.Alternatively I can run them as seperate monitors, but then you need to detach views somehow and run in windowed mode? Would someone help me with setting up a second monitor for use with FSX and the PMDG products. I can't seem to get the alignment correct on the second monitor that I have hooked up to the left of the main one. When in 2-D mode and I take off, the horizon does not align with the main monitor but moves down or up when in a banking turn. Is there anyway to coordinate the movements of both the main and the secondary (left) monitor so they show the same view of the horizon?Regardsjack

FS2004, Windows XP Pro, 4GB memory, NVIDEA 195.62 driver on a [weak] 7900GS 256MB video card.My FS9 runs well all settings maxed but I still get some jagged graphics and text (e.g. airlines name text on PMDG/LDS767 aircraft liveries). My NVIDEA control panel settings are the default values, and the Antialiasing and Anisotropic settings are set to "Application Controlled". Would it be better to control these setting in the NVIDEA control panel? What would be the best 3D settings for optimal FS9 antialiasing and anisotropic results?Thank you in advance,Kerke

I just received my Sapphire 5870 to replace my Nvidia 8800 Ultra that decided to die with horrible red dots on the screen December 24. I borrowed a 9600GT from another computer, to see a 3FPS drop in performance across the board, and a computer without a video card. Hey there everybody,I recently purchased a new moniter. The native res is 1920x1080p. I get no performance drop in any other app except FSX. How could going form 1280x1024 to the new resolution ruin performance by about 9 frames? I am curious. Also is 1080p or 1080i better. I have no clue. I know next to nothing about computer hardware.That said, the graphics card I have now is an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT, with 256 mb memory. My computer has 3 gigs of RAM and a Intel Q6600 quad-core CPU at 2.4 Ghz, and it is a Dell XPS 420. I'm running Vista 32. All this I got from the Dx Diag tool. I'm using fs2004.This card gives me terrible frame rates with clouds, and flickering and other problems, so I'm looking to get something more powerful. I have around 100-130 dollars to spare on it. evening all, am currently having a bit of a dilemma over which card to order with my new system. the new system will consist of an i7 920 oc'd @ 3.4ghz and 6gb 1600mhz ram. i am currently using a 19" monitor at 1280 x 1024 but plan to upgrade to a 24" at 1920 x 1200 in the near future. i have looked around at some similar threads but they all get a bit too technical. what i am looking for in a card is stability, smoothness, good fps, and something that can handle good AA and AF (either through FSX settings or Nhancer/ATI equivalent). Friends, I am currently using nHancer 2.57 with NICK's settings with my nVidia 285 card.It is not clear if I am supposed to start nHancer every time I fire up FSX or does it always override the card's settings.I see a number of blue AUTO boxes in nHancer. i am having lots of trouble with the nividia gtx360, I am getting blurries and frame rates of aboout 12- 13. I have a gateway 4200 dx my old video card seemed to work better. Just wondering if there is a set of drivers that I'm missing that might help. I'm currently using the 182.50 drivers. Any help would be great. Hi everyone, I am new here and just starting out with FSX. I used to play Microprose AH64 on the c64! now I'm having real trouble with my brand new FSX RIG.. I have 3x22 inch on a TH2Go and all seems fine, but my second card is a 9600GT driving 2 x 19 inch square monitors and although I can drag anything I want in windows between the 5 monitors, when I undock and drag the windows in FSX the new window goes black in the 19 inch monitor and then fsx crashes. a little note comes up saying Nvidea drivers have crashed...?Help please? I have a Nvidia 9800 GTX 512MB card in my system right now. I bot a new card a Nvidia GT220 1GB card, will I get improved performance with the GT220 or should I just stay with the 9800 GTX? Thnx for any advice.
