Hi,I'm running FS2002 with a GeForce 4 440 Go 32 meg. video card. Does anybody know if this card supports the technology to display water in detail and with reflection in FS2002? A question to my fellow simmers:I have the ATI8500LE that has two video outputs: VGA and DVI. Now I was thinking to hook a second CRT monitor to my PC and the straightest option seems to me to use the DVI output. Is there any way to hook a standard, analog CRT monitor to the DVI output? Hi,Well I know now what it feels like when you turn on the old puter, after giving it a night of rest, and a blank screen pops up with the following message... Can't find operating system... Opened the box, felt around, and the master hard drive was as cold as a dead fish. Expecting this to happen sooner or later, I invested in a used 6 gig hard drive for ten dollars US, a year or so ago, and loaded an OS and all the drivers, then I put it away for a day like today. Hi All, I have had the aforemntioned card now for approx 3 months. I have however noticed that i cannot update the drivers without the system locking up! Instead i am stuck with the Windows XP default drivers which happen to be v5.12. After a time these too lock up and the only way to cure it is to un-install the card in the device manager and let windows recognise it on boot up! This will last for 2 - 3 weeks before i have to do it again! Has anyone got any suggestions! The lock ups only occur when fs2k2 is running. There again it is the only graphically intensive program i use at present! Cheers Daren

I've just noticed that whenever I run FS2002 I lose my ADSL connection (the pair of black/green lights in my system tray turn red and I'm disconnected from my ISP). Stopping FS2002 restores connection. Same thing happens with Earthviewer when I get to a certain point. There's obviously a clash somewhere but everything checks out ok in device manager although I see that the modem and the graphics card geforce 3 ti 200 share IRQ 11. Running Windows XP, Directx 8.1, Athlon 1800xp. Variety of Nvidia drivers but makes no difference. Disabling anti-virus and firewall software makes no difference. I can also force it to disconnect by running the Directx tests in DXDIAG - connect…

Just got a new MSI Geforce4 MX440! I am having the following FS2002 problems! No Reflections, Menu does not open in full screen and I can't use the Dream Fleet FMC in full screen. I am using Nvidia drivers 3.1.0.0 and I just tried 4.0.4.1 but FS2002 just crashes when booting with 4.0.4.1.My PCVid Card = MSI G4MX440-TCPU = XP1800+Mainboard = MSI K7T Turbo Limited Edition ( latest Bios )512 ram60GB Samsong HDFlight sim is running with every thing MAXED out! Help guys, my flight sim system is dead and needs reviving.ABit KT7A mo/boAMD Athlon XP1800Everything was running fine earlier today, no problems and have not had problems since building this rig about 1 year ago.Today I fitted a new Volcano 9 HSF to keep things cool but with reduced noise from my original GlobalWin FOP38.Fitted the HSF without a problem, installed MBM to log temps and ran the system for over 2 hours, including a 1.5 hour flight, without any problems, max temp 54C which is lower than with the FOP38.Switched off system.Came to restart it a few hours later and all I get is 5 beeps and then auto shut-down, doesn't even go through POST :'( The symptoms sugge…

Does anyone know if it's possible to use two video cards from different manufacturers in a single system? I'm currently using a GF4 Ti4200 AGP card with dual monitors, but now I'd like to add a 3rd monitor using a Matrox G200 PCI card. Hi all, Ever since I upgraded to the excellent MSFS 2K2, with either Win 98Se / Win XP, I have suffered from eye strain. Yet I never had this with FS2000! even in 1600 x 1200. I have a Geforce4 Ti 4600, WinXP, AMD 2100 XP, latest drivers. Illyama 19" Monitor. I have redudced my display to 1164 x 864 in 32 bit, but I am still suffering! I've been using an ancient DELL P2 450 Mhz that I upgraded last year to a P3 850Mhz with an ELSA Gladiac GeForce2GTS card and an Mx 64 MB PCI card for a second monitor. FS2002 runs beautifully with fabulous colors and textures on a 21" TRINITRON and 17" ViewSonic. Frames are capped at 18. I can run PSS 744 and 777 pretty well, but there are spot plane texture loading issues which are far more severe with much of the POSKY series.My question is this: what type of system should I upgrade to? I have a Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro and CH rudder pedals (both non-USB) running Windows 98. Can I use them together so, for instance, in flying helis I do not use the twist feature of the joystick but the rudder pedals instead?Thanks, Tom

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with some problems with my CH rudder pedals. After I installed them they work great but at some point I was not able to turn the nose gear 90 degrees to make sharp turns, now it's more like 30 degrees of center. Today while taxiing at(what I believe to be a normal rate)the nose gear collasped while coming out of a 90 degree turn. The only thing I did since intalling the program is turn on the reliability(crash). If anyone has any suggestions that would be great ..thanks
