I am trying to download large files around 70 mg but keep getting timed out and it always trys to download with the explorer downloader iwant to use GET RIGHT so i can resume if needbe, how do i get getright to handle the downloads, i put the getright icon on the taskbar but explorer always takes over please can you help Thanks Donwindowsxp home

Hi,I am in the process of building a new system based around a P4 2.2GHz, GF4 4400Ti and SB Audigy player mounted on a Gigabyte GA-8IRXP MoBo. My 'old' drive contents (o/s :Windows 98, fully updated, but NOT a formal 2nd Edition (Windows98SE) installation) have been imaged onto a new IBM 120GXP 40GB and all seemed well. The 'old' original system is still up and running and is very stable. Howdy Everyone,I thought I had read something a little while back that Win98se can't utilize/recognize more than 512MB of RAM memory unless you go in and edit a setting in the Windows.ini (or something like that) file?Anyone remember this and know what I need to change? Hello ,I am looking for some advice on a problem I have run into.I have a abit th72-raid motherboard with pc800 rdram. I upgraded the cpu from an intel p4 1.8 to a intel p4 2.2. According to the bios settings the motherboard "should" be able to handle the new cpu.I also have upgraded the bios from the abit web site. I have a gforce 4 ti 4600 video card in this system. The system ran fine no problems at all with the 1.8 processor. With the new 2.2 processor, flight simulator crashes after about 5minutes, quick blue screen of death then the system reboots. Hello!I have a GF 4 Ti 4200 64MB video card which is alright, but doesn'treally cope with tight environments in my FS 2002.When I use addon planes plus AI traffic at larger airports the framerates drop considerably.Is it a good idea to get a better GF (a GF 4600 128 MB, for instance)or is there anything else to do to increase performance?I have tweaked my graphics setting (visibility range, mesh,etc.) so they are now about average.My system is an AMD Athlon XP2000+, 512 RAM 333mHz and a good mainboard.Grateful for tips...Hans HermanssonSweden

Are there any Edimensional 3d glass owners who are successfully running fs2002 with anti aliasing turned on using a Geforce 4 ti 4200?Every time I turn AA on in my geforce property area and run fs2002, it appears fine until I turn stereo on. My pc then lockes up. Sometimes right away, and sometimes a few seconds after turning stereo on.

I installed a Leadtek Winfast A250 TD Geforce4 Ti 4400 videocard (128 MB DDR). Good frame rates, but now I have problems using full screen mode (alt-enter) in FS2k2 (none before with my Geforce 2 MX400 card; didn't change anything else).I get a full screen display all right, but using the left alt-key doesn't bring back the menu bar, in stead it freezes the game (unfreezing after hitting the left tab again). I had probs with WINXP and accidentally formatted my disc to NTFS. I would like to try going back to WINME to try and see if it is more stable.Anyone any ideas how to reformat my HDD back to FAT32.I have read that u cannot do this.

After a couple of years of flawless operation my MS Precision Pro 2 joystick decided to call it quits last night, though it had worked perfectly the night before. Briefly, here is what happened:1. After starting FS last night nothing happened when I tried to change views with the hat switch. Under "options" and "controls" the "enable joystick" button was inoperative.2. I have recently decided on upgrading my hard drive because it is becoming increasing difficult to find space for games. I am considering getting an 80GB Seagate Barracuda ATA IV. The reviews I read said it performed well. The only negative aspect that they listed was that it runs hot and to consider extra cool. Right now I use a 1.4Ghs Althon, and during the summer it will run up to 65 Degrees Celsius while playing some games. Hi there ... I've been flying with FS2k2 since January and the PC seams to lock up a lot. It's gotten better ever since I installed the Nvidia GForce 2 Ti card (I think), but it still locks up when playing.I'm curious ... do other simmers have these problems A LOT? If so, what's the best CURE?My real problem ... by having to hard reboot all the time I'm causing registry and "dll" errors and it's basically screwing up my PC.
