Just wondering. For those who have a task manager, just before you start FS, start the task manager and click the Performance tab. What does the PF Usage report? Mine shows 127 MB. Not sure what it means but was wondering. Looks like programs in use including the OS.JimCYWG

Can anyone help me telling how to set the device to have the possibility to feather the propeller? Mostly I use the FSD Seneca V, since I fly this a/c in reality.I'd calibrate the device with the CH control manager 3.6, but still unable to feather the prop.Thanks a lot!!Andy

hi guys,i have just bought a x859xt pe AGP from newegg.com.It is a BBA(built-by ATI ) one my questions is,Some folks told me it may lead some probs using a ATI card with VIA chipset equipped motherboards.So in my case i am currently using A KT400V(via) chipset equipped MSI motherboard with AMD athlon xp 2800+ (32 bit) and i haven't had a chnace to test but what u think.have any of u experienced any problem with a combination of via and ati????thx in advance..

I have 2 video cards each with 2 monitors attached and I want to have a pannable VC, not stretched, in Full Screen that spans all 4 monitors.I have 2 GeForce 7800 cards and with the latest Nvidia drivers, version 77.77, I can either have 4 "desktops" of 1024x768 or I can have a "Horizontal Span" across the 2 monitors attached to each card. This gives me 2 "desktops" of 2048x768. What i really want is to have one 4096x768 "desktop" so that in the FS9 Hardware Display settings I can select 4096x768 as my resolution.If this can't be done, is it possible to run 2 or more VCs, in window mode, and have them stay synched when I pan?

Sorry if this has been answered befored but coundn't find anything on a search. I'm trying to use 5 monitors with FS2004 but i'm only able to select 4, i can use 5 in windows.2 LCD monitors are connected to a ATI X800XL PCI-E, 2 LCD to ATI X300 PCI-E and a touchscreen to a Geforce 4MX440 PCI on a Asus A8N-SLI.If i run FS with all screens active in windows i can use the 2 on the X800, 1 of the X300 and the 1 on MX440.If i disable the monitor on the MX440 in windows i can use the 2 on the X800 and the 2 on the X300.It appears to be a FS limitation, anyone can help?Thanks, and sorry for my bad english.Jorge Bastos

Hi,I'm planning on purchasing a second pc for FS, so that I can run the PMDG 744, 737, LDS 767 etc, on one pc and JUST the visuals on my current pc by using WideView. This would give me a dramatic boost in framerates because my current pc (specs below) will be releived of all complex instrument, FMC, MCP calculations and just have to worry about the visuals. And the second pc will have the PMDG 747,etc installed BUT with all the visual setting set to lowest possible.My Question is what kind of Processor, MB should i get just for the sake of running the PMDG 744 panel with visuals set to lowest qualityand with 3 monitors attached?I dont think i need anything over a P4 2.4…

I am a old simmer with a recent re entry.Need advise on what would be the mininum requirements for FS in regard of video card taking into consideration that I would be running panels and scenery that require such hardware.

I run FS9, FSnavigator, and MapPoint all at the same time. I have my frame rate fixed at 39.........it stays there practically all the time except extreme situations. I run smooth for most of the time, but once in a while, I get the message:"Out of Memory" and FS9 freezes.My system:Pentium 4 - 3.8ghz2 gigs of memory ramATI Radeon X850 XTWith Hyper threading, the affinity has CPU0 and CPU1 checked off.Would unchecking one of the 2 make any difference?Anything I can do with hyperthreading that might help?Thanks.Abe

I hope someone can help me, and I'll try to explain my problem so that it makes sense. It all started with my clicking on a link in the AVSIM forum (MSFS). That started it! My screen icons and resolution "exploded" in size so that no edges were present, and the mouse didn't work on anything. It almost looked like I went from a 32 bit high color res to about 2 bit washed out color. Things on the screen overlap, and nothing seems to work. Now this occurs intermittently, and almost always occurs when I click on the FS9 Icon to start a flight.
