Gatekeeper is a nifty little utility but how do you increase the total gates available after loading payware airport scenery? For example, Cloud 9 KDCA has approximately 40 plus gates available but gatekeeper only lists about 12--is there some way to increase the number of gates in gatekeeper?ThanksKemo

I've noticed that I can tune my COM 1 and COM 2 radios to two different channels (duh) by I can only transmit on COM 1. Is this a FS limitation or am I missing something?

Hi there, I was wondering this for a while, is there a way that you can chage the flight number of an aircraft witout having to reload the aircraft as I like to do flights to somewhere, do a turnaround and fly back with the aircraft as it is.Any help would be much appreciated.Kind RegardsGavin Moss

Seems to me when I used to use the free Routefinder, it would also give the name of the Sids and Stars in the flightplan. I don't get these anymore. Is that normal for the free version. Has anyone seen History Channels, Dog Fight series. I was curiuos as to what type of system that might be run on. The graphics are sharp, smooth and extremely fluid. While not a lot of complex scenery is rendered. The lighting and detail and fluidity of the a/c is impressive. Would anyone want to venture to guess the system used for this and how far we might be from getting the same results? With a 3.4g/rig 2g/ram, ati x1900xt at 1600 doesn't even come close to that. Hi, have recently upgraded my PC, reinstalled, made the tweaks and had FS working a treat.Yesterday I decided to reinstall PDMG 737 (600/700/800/900) since then FS starts, when I select a flight the loading scenery bar appears but doesnt move and CTD ! Can anyone please tell me if its possible to change any of the default settings, ie: when you start FS9 your default aircraft is a Cessna & the default airport is Seattle-Tachoma is it possible to change these to a different aircraft & airport so it will always boot with my prefered aircraft etc Thanks

I wanted to check the frequencies used at KFLG (Flagstaf, Arizona).I seen the airport in MSFS9. So it does exist.So I started AFCAD and listed the USA airports. KFLG was not in the list. In fact, the state of Arizona was not in the list to select airports from.So the general question is. Are some airports of the AFCAD type in MSFS9 and some are not?If you cannot select the airport with AFCAD then you are stuck with the MSFS9 default.

Hi All,Sometimes during any FS9 flight a strange continuous humming/crackle kind of sound suddenly emerges from my speakers and FS9 freezes up. No CTD and the picture/cockpit just remains in it's last state without any visible problems. No keyboard functions work and the only way to resolve the issue is to reset my PC and restart FS9.Sometimes this happens quite quickly but it can also happen after an hour or so of problem free flying.Thanks in advance for any suggestions ?Hans

I'm a little embarassed to ask this, but is there a way to fire up FS9 and have it load a particular saved flight, therefore bypassing the initial selection screens? I just wondered if I could fire up FS and be dropped straight into the cockpit/flightdeck.Thanks...Jim

Does anybody know how to solve the CTD problem when using the Dreamwings Fokker 50 with the Espen Oijordsbakken's panel? Searching in Google I found a link to the Dreamwings forum:http://www.dreamwingsdesign.com/forum/inde...p?showtopic=940But the page is down, as you can see. And so, I ended up with nothing unless one of the german/dutch/norwegian/danish links has also the solution, in a language that I can't understand. Hi Folks,I installed Cloud9 F4 Phantom and restarted the PC. After that I cannot start FS9 any more. Hello all,went to EBAW...trees on the runway & no traffic. Downloaded ADG Afcad... trees gone, but no traffic. Downloaded Robert Buyssens EBAW 2004, installed it and his Afcad too... nice airport but NO traffic. Can anyone help me out here? I do not have NL2000 installed or any Belgium VFR. (I have only EBBR and EBOS addons). I've had this problem since I installed fresh, thought now I know a bit more I'd see if it could be fixed? Plese help?bedankt,Cheers,Tosh:-hmmm

Maybe it's my imagination, but when I fly FS9 with bad weather conditions (T-storm), when I'm on final approach and just flaring to land, I almost always get a violent gust or shift in wind direction just before I touch down. It almost feels "programmed" to happen, to make the landing more difficult. It doesn't feel like an organic or natural change in wind conditions. It's really annoying. Does anyone else notice this effect?

After uninstalling FSX for the second and last time, it's back to beautiful FS9. I just bought DF's Baron and was wondering about the aircraft textures. It's got that nasty 1-2 second pause as the exterior textures load. Other than that, it's a pretty cool plane! Is there an easy way to reduce the res of those textures? I think they may be 32 bit but I have no way of knowing for sure.Thanks!Mark
