What is the date of the navdata in FS9? I am looking for older charts, but I wanted to find the correct dates. Also, is there a way to update the nav frequency info (vor, ils, etc) that is free?

Ok, here's my problem. I downloaded a Mitsubishi Mu-2 in FS2004. This aircraft should fly close to 300kias. The best mine will do is 212. I have reduced the parasite and induced drag scalar to 0.0 but only gained about 10 to 15 kias. Does anyone know what else I can do to get my airspeed up?

I have a good set of cabin announcements (i.e. "Please store your baggage ..."; "Cabin crew prepare for take-off please ..."; "This is the captain speaking. We will be landing in 15 minutes ....") in (UK) English. But I would really like to use announcements in other languages when flying non-English-speaking airlines.I have found some in French, German, Dutch, Italian, and a few sound files in Spanish, so I am doing OK I suppose. Google searches have found nothing in more 'exotic' languages (Hindi, Greek ....): If anyone can give me any leads to download sites for other languages - or versions in languages I already have but which you recommend, I'd be grateful.Thanks.Ma…

I'm waiting for my registration to be approved at the FSD forums, so I thought I'd ask here while I wait.I purchased this a week or so ago and have just started using it with Cargo Pilot that I've just purchased as well.While looking at the specs of the plane, in particular the weights, some things don't make sense.Has anyone else noticed that the weight limits seem a little off with this porter? FSD has the MTOW close to 4800 lbs, I believe, but from my research, it appears this model should be about 6173 lbs. Hi.I am new to this forum but I have a problem over the above Mesh.I have been busy in the past days downloading Turkish "Addons".One of the sites put me onto the STRM mesh by Yohann Bapstiste (turkey_east_srtm.zip & turkey_west_strm.zip). On his site he shows JPEG images of various areas throughout Turkey. I was struck by the 2 images of scenery from Alanya. I've tried everything to click on to adjust the altimeter setting on these Overland A/C panels but cannot find it. There is no manual with this package. Help - anyone.Wilbert

Just reinstalled FS9; all of my planes trim full down in flight! My stick is OK, checked it out immediately (I thought it broke and some buttons were stuck or something).Never saw this before, or heard of the problem. How can this be cured?It's a clean install, nothing left behind from old installation...no folders or anything.Thanks!

I will start a flight and about 10 minutes in to the flight, my screen goes black and I am shut down with no error shown. I am usingNVIDIA 6800 256 meg, the card is a new replacement, not refurbished.Also have Windows XP Pro running on Asus P4 800 Deluxe. Anyone havea idea. I also have 1 gig memory.

The other day I read some info about a small utility program named, "FlightSimManager". Could someone tell me what it is mainly used for and how it works. Does it put your sceneries in your Scenery Library in their CORRECT positions? Thanks, jerrycwo4

If anyone hear still has not seen it, PMDG went to the Euro pricing system this past week. In all fairness, they as a company have a right obvioulsy to do it but it just smells of unfairness to the majority USA user base. For example, the PMDG 744 for FS9 which has been out for quite a while now costs 54.95 Euro's which is $74.25 USD at the current excahnge rate of 1.35 USD per 1 Euro. It originally cost me 54.99 USD to purchase. I would like to know why they have raised the price for the FS9 version of the 744 (along with all their other products)? When I open the kneeboard and go to the flight plan view, if I click anywhere in the kneeboard, FS9 crashes. Any ideas? The only addon module I have is FSUIPC

Hi all, here is my question, when I load my flightplan and start flying via the GPS in NAV mode and then want to fly off course to site see and eventually continue my flightplan via the GPS...how do I tell the GPS to follow a couple of waypoints ahead since it will want to follow waypoints that are behind me and then continue?Thanks,Bill

Every time I exit running FS in fullscreen mode with squawkbox I always have this problem. I am running with ASV6, GEPRO, and this happens in every aircraft.I have a Dell Dimension 9150 with an ATI Radeon X600, and 1 GB of RAM.Attached are screenshots and my fs9.cfg. Hi guys,I've been away for a long time but I really need some advice/help.Does anyone know if there is a suitable AVRO RJ100 package or so (NON-AI!) available that includes the cockpit? I don't care if it's payware or freeware. The 146 in the Eurowings 2004 package won't do unfortunately. I'm looking for the RJ in specific.I've just finished my typerating groundschool for a major european operator and are due for the simulator soon. Greg Pepper and Michael Verlin put out a fantastic freeware Grumman HU-16 Albatross - over two thousand people download the aircraft - And all anyone on this forum wants to talk about is FSX.Does anyone every fly anymore?It's a great aircraft!!!!

Came across a brand new upload in the library under FS2004 scenery. The screenshots looked nice to me so I gave it a try. It's great stuff! A relatively small municipal airport with its surrounding neighborhood and moving ground traffic. It's the author's first scenery creation too!Many downloads already. Go look for KPLN. Hi fellow FS9'ers...After flying/using FSX pretty well non-stop from the moment SP1 became available, AND...SP1 (kicking butt) on my machine......well...here is the post I just wrote in the FSX forum.Is it just me out upon the lonely ledge with the way FSX world and environment 'seems' to me?
