I have always wondered if this is something that has to be modeled or if it can be added via the aircraft.cfg? I usually defrag whenever I install something on my computer, or put any kind of addon to FS9... I use o&o defrag and I use the complete/name method...what about you? :)

Is there not a decent DC-10 panel anywhere on the web?I got a great plane, great sounds, but no great panels. Are there even any payware panels out there?

Hello everybody, sorry for my English.I've got a problem with the "Create a flight" page in FS2004. In fact, this is the only one page that have this : there are two small images with the selected plane turning on the top of the page, which should only be down the page. Also I cannot change the selected plane, the airport, the weather, nor the time.Could you please help me to find a solution to make disappear those images that are boring me ?Thank you

Man do I feel like a dope. I was flying into KATL and noticed a significant frame rate drop, so I went to the ol' Avsim library looking for a better AFCAD and downloaded Smith Designs KATL scenery v1.5 and it's subsequent fixes. I installed all the files properly using the default installers and the AFCAD worked pretty well. EXCEPT, just as I landed there were 4 planes buried in runway 9L up to the tops of their windows and they were right where I landed so I crashed. Before FS9 reloaded, I used Smith's uninstaller to uninstall the scenery, and then deleted the remaining Smith Design KATL folders, but now there are no buildings or terminals at all at my KATL! Hi mates!I am having slight troubles with flightplanning. There used to be some good planning tools available like PM Flight Planner (pmfp.com) but at least that one is out of service and will probably stay so :( I've been looking for a planning tool similar to what airlines use so that I could get an operational flight plan from it and some more necessary information. It must also have the current navdata in it. There's the www.euro-book.net system but it uses AIRAC 0608 and the planning tool inside Vroute.info is also on 0608, unfortunately.If you know a tool which could help me, please let me know! Need some soft for simcharts, but simular to jeppesen. Just that it could load in the flight and be a very good look. Or freeware jeppesen.

I have the LD767-300 and I have noticed that when I land where there is a ILS (both glideslope and localizer) I always get an Autoland 3 after pressing the approach button. I would like to know if in reallife you always would do an autoland with ILS available? I mean virtually all airports where I land the 767 has an ILS. Can I do a non autoland landing without giving up on realism?

Hey everyone, well my probolem is that the atc voices are gone along with engine sounds for most planes. The flaps gears and wind noice are still there, but no more engine noices. I didnt really care though cause I can just put on 3rd party sounds anyway, but I dont know what to do for ATC. Anyone know how to fix it or can give me link to decent Add On that can replace the old ATC voices?

Hi,I have a new laptop with a Nvidia Geforce Go7600 and Windows Vista. I installed FS9 and it doesn't really work well. I have good fps, but the colors when flying at night look there would be a rainbow all over the sky, buildings are blue or red, even the aircraft have a redish glow. When I load some clouds, they are edgy and look really ugly. I use newest Nvidia drivers, 158.18.I had a similar problem with the game Far Cry, but then I patched the game and it worked, but there is no such patch for FS9.Anybody any idea what that could be?Thank you!

HiIf i would like to record some video where it looks like i have mounted a camera on the wing or elsewhere external on the plane, what software do i need?I have activecamera but i can only get external shots where the camera is static to the world and not static to the plane, if you know what i mean :-)

I have recently been off of the Boards for a couple of weeks and ran into this one yesterday while trying to catch up. While I have FSX on my system, I rarely fly it because I still find my FS9 setup more fun as apparently have many people. I do visit the FSX Forum on occasion, but still spend most of my time here.I noticed the positve ( largely) comments about a program called TileProxy, which apparently interacts with the photo imagery of G**gle Earth and similar. I was curious and downloaded the program and installed it as instructed. After the installation, I noticed that not only would FSX not load, but FS9 also would not load. Removal of TileProxy resolved the issue…

Anyone else every switch from ATI to NVidia and have problems with squawkbox? I switched from an ATI X1900 GT to 2 BFG 8600 GTS OC with SLI and everything is fine. But when I switch on SB3 it acts as if it turns my Anti Aliasing off. Anyhelp would be appreciated.

When uninstalling FS9 (in prep of a fresh install), should you take out every add-on with it's own uninstall option before uninstalling FS9 itself? If you just kill the whole thing at once, are bits and pieces of add-ons left all over your HD?Also, is there any advantage to using the Remove Program uninstall option instead of the FS9 uninstall?Thanks.

I just noticed in my FS9 that all the buildings and textures at certain airports are suddenly missing? I've seen it so far at MDW, SXM (both flytampa), and ORD (default). Also, I've noticed my autogen is greatly reduced all of a sudden despite having it set to max. Most recent thing I did was install Ultimate Terrain USA but I have it layered lower than all addon scenery (higher than default scenery). Ok, maybe you guys can shed some advice.Do you guys ever have this issue where you want to fly, but you don't know where you want to depart or where your going to? Or what you'll fly... And then you want to fly into the airports where you have addon scenery and you only want to fly the addon planes such as the PMDG or LDS? And then add in the weather... You cant decide what weather you want to fly in? Storms for a tricky approach and for some awsome screenshots, or clear skies for an easy, laid back experience?I'm having that issue now.
