Hello All,I had this problem with some aircraft in FS2002 and I used a utility that converted older models to be able to be used in FS2002. I now have a similar problem in FS9. Some of the aircraft (freeware) were designed for FS9. I can select the variation but the model does show in the window. Can anyone point me to a utility or a possible fix for this problem?Thanks in advance. - Cecil

I have noticed on their recent release KLGA, and also on KCLT, that none of the AFCAD's they provide, show the animated gates. While this keeps unwanted AI from parking there, it also keeps you from starting there. (I think) Is there any way to start there, or does the AFCAD have to be corrected? Some of their other a/p's, I have updated AFCAD's from others, and am not sure if the problem existed there also.Rick

Guys, I've noticed a very strange FPS behavior in Wilco Citation X in FS9. My FPS is limited to 25 frames and the FPS counter in WCX drops from 24.9 to 20 then bounce back every 0.5-0.8 second both in 2D panel and VC. Very strange, because I've never seen it in any other airplane.Any ideas?Thanks.

I have FSGenesis North American Terrain Mesh, along with the World Buffer Mesh and US Landclass as well. My problem is that some airports seem to be on a 'mesa' - it's higher than the area around it. Most of them are smaller, out of the way airports. There were a couple in Vermont and New Hampshire that I ran into, as well as KRDU. My question is simply how do I fix this? Is there a 'patch' from FSGenesis that resolves this issue, or is there something somewhere that I can modify? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all, if you don't use Aerosim's CL2 package then please disregard. Does anyone know where I can find files to make the Aerosim L1011 more polished, like maybe an updated FDE or a fuel calculator or just anything. Ed's new ATA (N163AT) paint and Cloud 9's Aviano has got me to install my Aerosim package again so I can recreate a real world flight I took on an L1011 last year about this time, it's just such a "lite" add on that I was hoping to maybe get it fixed up a little with some user edits. Can anyone suggest any? I've already purchased the Omwings panel, but have not yet succesfully merged it with the Aerosim L1011.Thanks,Jeff

hiwhen i have been using real world weather from fs9 engine my aircraft always turn very sharply to the left even at 5knots winds it even happens in a 737 and 747 i have unistalled fs9 and reistalled it and the problem is still there i have never had this problem before can anyone helpthanks in advance jimmer

As anyone who has purchased the Flightzone's Portland Airport ( KPDX) there is a problem when trying to get there using RD4, you can't get there uing RD4. The problem was fixed a few months ago, but I just purchased the airport and found the problem. The fix is unbelievable easy. Here's a short statement from the RD4 forum on the fix :The critical fix is as per John Burgess advice as follows:"if you rename KPDX_28L_ILSFIX.bgl as !KPDX_28L_ILSFIX.bgl all may be well"This simple fix works fine for me. Is anyone here aware of any payware/freeware aircraft that include an operational FMS/FCU that will allow you to operate it with keystrokes versus mouse clicks?I'm aware of the feelThere aircraft, and although they have a fantastic, fully operational FMS, you can only operate it with the mouse. I'm looking for a WWII B-25 and went into Avsim's library using "WWII/Fs2004 original aircraft" and it only showed 6 aircraft!. As BIG as Avsim's file library is I know they must have MORE WWII acft than that. A year or so ago, they changed the way you search for files here on Avsim and I've never been able to sucessfuly use it correctly. Just finished reading the "instructions".....didn't help me a bit. jerry

I just discovered over Northern Italy that I am missing a piece of scenery, it's just gray. I'm sure it's just one BGL as it is measured in mere miles on both dimensions. I'm trying to figure out what one it is that's missing, FS Navigator is helpful but the area is totally devoid of anything so I can't get a reference from that.Anyone know how to track down the file name? hi allcan anyone tell me what the difference is between PAI and World Of AI traffic AI add ons?For World of AI i dont see anyone write anything about them but there have been many downloads of they AI packages from avsim library.Also is it worth getting Ultimate Traffic when one can choose one of the freewares as mentioned here?

Im thinking of upgrading my monitor from a 1280x1024 to a 1600x1200. I want crisper textures but I dont wanna sacrifice my FPS. With my eaglesoft planes and my Super80 I get 32 fps locked and steady with the rig below in 1280x1024. Would I lose anything going to 1600x1200 or is my graphics card good enough to handle the extra load?Also, what rez do you all play in?

I'd like to have great AI running around my airports like I see at some who post around here (Ed is a good example). I have Ultimate Traffic, and was very satisfied with that, until I started seeing some of Ed's AI - they look great! Is there a tutorial out there that can teach me how to create and install great looking AI? Also, does anyone know if there are any pre-made packages out there that cover certain areas (North America, Europe, etc.), along with the associated AFCAD files?
