Can someone please tell me how to edit the aircraft .air files in fs9? I can't find any FDe programs for fs9. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

I'd be interested to know what others use on their second monitor in FS9. I usually just drag across the GPS and radio panel, sometimes the ATC window but I've been looking at FSNavigator, an electronic flight bag or even getting a RealityXp gauge to drag across. A moving map would be great but I'm not sure that there is one available?What do you use on yours?

Well.Just completed my first full flight with the Tinmouse. That is, weather, passengers etc. And to think that I was going to can this one because I couldn't get the autopilot elevator to engage. I've ignored it this long because I've never been interested in the 200 anyway.Good thing I came back for more! I was intrigued by this "control-wheel-steering" autopilot. Seemed very natural to me. So I gave it another try. Whoa! That was awesome. This is the most fun I've had since FSX dampened the scene (I had to have a dig at FSX).The CWS is a really neat way to fly. I have the Super80 from Flight 1 and its a great plane and all, but the wing lights are HUGE! Is there any way to modify them to look more 'realistic'? The PMDG 737NG model has lights exactly the way I like them. Is there a way to make my M80 lights look as good as them? Is there something I can adjust in the aircraft.cfg file? My friend told me its NICEEEE (quoted from his mouth lol) only thing is I usually only fly VC planes (trackIR is the main reason) and I know this plane doesn't come with it. I read the review and it says one will be avaliable soon. Since soon can mean anywhere from a week to a month, i'm not sure, so I was just curious what the VC only guys think of this plane :) thx! :)

FSAddon just released the trial version on their website.

I read that this service should be off but when I look at the services in msconfig, it is checked as running but the status shows "stopped"does this mean that it is still running in the background or does it only show stopped when it is not "indexing"??

Greatings all,I installed Europe and Asia from the above last month (wow what an improvement!) but have a little question. When I fly anywhere mountainous, Switzerland for example, the roads look unnatural as they climb at 1 in 2 up the newly rendered hillsides! Is there any freeware stuff that would realign roads etc to match the better terrain. Would this be what's called "landclass"?I get a bit confused between landclass, mesh and terrain. Although now I have FSGenesis I'm aware mesh is the elevation of the land etc.Thanks in advance

Hi !Does anyone out there know of a good quality 744 landing panel (2D and with working instruments) specifically for the PMDG 744 ? I have a fantastic one for the LVLD 767 by Phil Geddes, and would really like one for the 744 which is just a little too harsh on framerates while landing in the VC.Many thanks !Jonny

As the title states im just curious in seeing what are others peoples favorite approaches or airstrip?I myself really like Bella Coola(in my 182 RG or 206 amphib hehe lol), I like the mountains and valley's, especially with the freeware mesh I downloaded.

My Captain Sim CL-130 seems to have a bit of a problem - full-throttle does not move it! It will sit there grinding away, rocking on the waves but not actually moving forward. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this?

Hi,I have been all round the area as directed by the manual for Heathrow, but can't seem to find this illusive VIP parking area's red carpet.can anyone please enlighten me on where it is.I did try and zoom in on the PDF file's picture, but it just gets distorted and fuzzy.I wish they had put in actual stand numbers instead.Plus, we have two different EGLL versions, the standard UK2000 Part 4 EGLL, which is what I'm using, and the EGLL Pro.so it will probably be under two different stand numbers depending on what scenery version you are on.many thanks for any assistance.PS I gave up waiting for the FT forums to load, it seemed to be taking forever.

i have been wanting to get lago's FS scenery enhancer as well as emma field for FS2004 . i tried to send an email to their customer services well over 2 weeks ago but still no answer . i then noticed that their last product release dated from 2005 .my question is :is lago still in operation and if not , are the products they used to sell ( namely , mostly emma field 2004 and scenery enhancer ) still available anywhere ?

I am not new to AI programming but this one has me baffled.I have downloaded the following 2 Air Canada Evolve AI A321 repaints.ev321aca2_v5.zip & ev321aca1_v5.zipThe files states and I quote "To be used with the EvolveAI Base Files Packages for FS2004 available separately (ev321_models_update.zip and ev321_fde_update.zip)"OK so bottom line I downloaded and installed everything (yes did the TTools thing) and it doesn't work. Hi Guys,I was adding to my AI tonight for the first time in ages. Is there any way to get rid of the default AI? All these orbit and landmark airlines coming in right after "speed bird" or "delta" is driving me nutty.

Just downloaded Imagine La Guardia en flew over Manhatten. I have a green dinosaurus in the middle of Manhatten. I have not had this before.I have attached a photo, have any one else got this extinct animal in their Flight Simulator.How can I get rid of it without removing scenery.Christiaan
