Nemeth Hind Mi-24, when sitting on the tarmac before start up, the rear wheels are pushed through the tarmac up to the axels(not the front). After starting up and pulling the collective to lift the weight off the gear, it pulls the wheels out of the tarmac and when letting the collective down and putting the weight back, the wheels sit correctly on the tarmac. Anyone know what is going on? This happens anywhere, no where specific and only at start up.Capt. Speirs

...experience.Tonight I loaded up the Level-D 767 from MEM to SEA and flew in real time(4hr 5 min) and flew it as I have seen the real world Pilots do. When I arrived at ANVIL on the SEA 16R APP and captured the GS I hands flew it Stick and Power the rest of the way to the runway...It was IMO the prettiest landing Ive done in 8 years of Flight Simming....Yes seeing how it is done in the real world make a difference....oh BTW I am the newest Dispatcher at NWA as of Thursday morning..Im so excited.

Hi AllHope this is the correct forum, otherwise mods please feel free to move it to a more appropriate location. I have an ATI 9800 card. Everything was working fine until I installed Ground Environment and then, later Flight Environment. I am now suffering with the dreaded flickering textures - usually over water, but sometimes over land as well. It looks like there is a fog layer on the ground, but it shimmers and flickers. It is only visible in the region under the aircraft, not in the distance.Have fiddled with a few ASV6 settings and with FSUIPC (3.72), but no joy. Have fairly up to date drivers as well (Catalyst)I have heard that ATI 9800 cards do get heat exhaustio…

OK I'm stumped. I see guys getting 40 to 60 FPS in games and I would be happy with about 25 steady at the most. I'll take 40 if it stays 40 but anyways. So I go out and by a new rig. I have a MSI K9n-NEO Motherboard. The AM2 socket AMD 64 x2 4200+ , 4 gigs of 533 PC 3200 DDR2 Ram and the 8800 GTS Nvidia. Why is it in the sim I can only get like 18 FPS and that is pushing it. This is on a completely fresh and bare copy of Vista with all the usaual tweaks to make my computer a very fancy PS3 , I have shut off almost everything I can. Thanks

I just got the 8800 GTS NVidia card and I switched from a X1900 GT ATI Well I did a fresh install of XP to Vista and then FS9 with all the same settings as I had before. I read somewhere that you should leave AA off in the Sim and make sure the card is using it. Well when I do that the only way I get AA is when its checked in the sim. I set the AA on the card to X 8 with override any application setting checked. Also am I smoking something because I really don't see an increase in FPS lolFigures.

Hi all,Is there a fix for what looks like a checkered board pattern on the ocean? I looks like tiles are different tones (light or dark), so when you look out across the ocean you see this unrealistic checkered pattern? Any thoughts?

After a couple of months and a few formats later, I tried to re-install Wilco's A400M. However, the moment it is selected FS2004 immediately CTD. The problem lies within the panel. I've removed the panel and then the aircraft loads. However, when utilizing the original panel, FS crashes. Can anybody help?I've experienced a similiar type of problem with my Australian Glassair when I bought it. The situation was quickly solved by them. It seems as if the xlm gauges somehow clashes with my video card, if that is possible.Regards

Using FS2004, I find that aircraft (I mean every aircraft) veer either left or right without any control input. This happens even in calm conditions (no wind), and with the aircraft perfectly lined up with the centreline of the runway. I've reloaded Fs2004 entirely, hoping the fault would fix itself, but it keeps on happening regardless.Is there some way of correcting this, or could it be an inbuilt fault in the system ??

I'd like to replace my PMDG 737NG models with the ones from POSKY. I've searched the forums here, and the information is a little fragmented, and some of it is just plain wrong! I'd like to just replace the visual model, whilst preserving the PMDG flight dynamics, so I just need the contact points and lights.I'd be really grateful if anyone who has merged these successfully could take five minutes to copy and paste their contact points and light sections :)Thanks for any help!

I am flying Robert Versluys TU204, which I love, but am using the default B777 panel. Anybody know of a good panel with wing views for this aircraft or know of a way to add in wing views to the default B777 panel?

I install traffic 2005 with all the booster paks in fs2004 but at a lot of airports i.e. KSLC, KCLT, etc....there are only the default parking spots. I fear that it is like this for much of the world. Does anyone know of any full packages I can download which cover say the U.S. or do I have to download each individually?

Hi Guys Lucky enough to get a new computer this week, unlucky to have the steep learning curve of Vista. One query left, after getting used to "run as administrator" and other compatibilty issues, how do I allow access to save cfg files after adding repaints. When adjusting a cfg file, I am not allowed to save as access is denied. How do I get over this hurdle? Layman's terms please.__________________Stuart Sutton-Young

I recently had to replace my Radeon 9800 with a GeForce 7600 GS and now, after I access the FS9 menu to select an aircraft, the preview window for any plane I choose is black!Any ideas?Dave

Because I'm looking at AWC right now which is NOAA, and for the 031600z METAR its 120/07, vrb winds, few at 1600, cb clouds, scattared at 1800, and temp is 31/22 QNH 1017...Now I look at AS 6.5's METAR that it pulled up and itsMYNN 031600Z 12007KT 9999 FEW016CB +RA SCT018 31/22 Q1017which is kind of close, but where did the heavy rains come from?

I recently installed a "auto pilot" from the default LEAR JET(FS2004) into another plane that did not have one. Only problem was when the AP was on, you could only change directions in 10's of degrees and altitude in 1000's of feet. No flying 015 at 2800 feet. Today I was going to change direction and as I put the mouse curror over the direction "spot", I accidently hit my mouse's center wheel and the direction changed by ONE degree and not by 10 degrees.... same thing on the altitude. Problem solved . Use the mouse's center wheel for single units. jerrycwo4

Hi everyoneAfter getting FlyTampa St.Maarten scenery (with St. Barthelemy and Saba included), I decided to download the Premier Aircraft Design Twin Otter for flying between the islands. I like the visual model and the panel is not bad, but I find almost impossible to taxi with that plane (uncontrollable)... and I find it a little bit overpowered. With a little bit I mean I can rotate at Saba before I run out of runway!!! (In a FL350.com video you can see that the takeoffs there are aircraft-carrier like). Can you recommend me a good FDE por the plane (or a different model, I won't care)?Best regards from ColombiaLuis Miguel
