Does anyone have the seasonal crash to desktop fix saved somehwere? Its called crashto.zip Im reinstalling the sim and I need the terrain.cfg files from it. I have the textures. I'd appreciate the help, the website it used to be on is gone. Thanks!!Hornit

Hey everyone,This is really strange... every time I try to load the real world weather function, it looks like it's loading (you know, the progress bar) but then the game just shuts down. What's even more strange is that this has never happened before AND it started yesterday AND I had used the real world function earlier in the day, then when I tried to use it later it did this funny shut down thing and it is still doing it now. Anyone know what the problem might be? The only change I made to FS was installing the new KMSP scenery, but I don't know how that could mess up the real world weather.Any ideas?Thanks in advance,Matt

Hi,I'm using FS9 with TrackIR, after 10mins or so I get really bad head movement lag which is very nauseous! I've read it might be an FSUIPC conflict? Anyone else experienced this problem? (I'm using the active profile 'Flight.')Thanks

Just noticed this, look at the treetops, can you see the short horizontal lines above them? http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172826.jpgIt was hard to make a capture of them, but as I was moving, lines were clearly visible above the trees. Almost as if there was something wrong with the textures. Only, they're the default tree textures and I've never seen it before. Now, I'm using Omega drivers and I've been tweaking around with Ati Tray Tools, so it's probably a question of changing a setting or tweak, but which one?I'll also try some other tree textures to see if they go away.Now, this second issue has been bothering me more and more lately, texture seems at addon scen…

I am using FS9 and ActiveSky, so I wanted an external (ie external to FS9) flight planner to make life a bit easier.I came across Super Flight Planner which is generally very good, but encountered the problem in the following thread (I know it's for FSX, but it happens in FS9 too)http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=searchSo, after a bit of googling it seems that FS9 does not allow airports as waypoints.(Using SFP works fine without airports as waypoints).My question is, would an airport be used as a waypoint in real life flying?

HEY GUYS/GALS,I just tried RWW and it appears to be back on line without CTD.I didn't make any adjustments to my rig, so I doubt I did something to bring it backAnyone else got RWW to work again?John M

Anyone using the Reality 530 with the Dreamfleet 727?If so, is there much of an impact on FPS?Any other information that you could provide on using the 530XP with the DF727 would be appreciated.

I cannot get a saved (MSFS9) DF727 (like, I saved one just before takeoff) flight to reload with the engines running.It reloads in a cold and dark state.I did the configuration manager: ready for taxi and saved it prior to reloading the saved flight from the default MSFS Cessna, cold and dark at KSEA.Is it possible to reload saved flights with the DF727?

I have always wondered about these and because I approach fs9 with a renewed enthusiam after a long layoff, my purpose is to start tweaking and replacing as much of the default scenery as I am able. Bottom line: I don't have any clue where to start (except the Avsim fs9 file library) and I would like to be pointed in the right direction by a kind soul/s, here in the forums. I need to know everything from how to install .afcad files or whatever you do with them and well....everything. Any help will be appreciated.Jon

Hello folks. I would like some help on merging a plane and panel combo.I always thought the Electra was a cool plane. I had high hopes that KBT would do an Electra after the P3. Perhaps they are.In the meantime, I have an Electra model d/l. Can't remeber the name right now. I also have the more modern gage P3 panel from KBT.Could someone please either give me a step by step for the merge, or point me in the right direction. I saw the thread on the POSKY merge stuff. same thing for the electra?Also, does anyone know if the KBT panel will work in FSX? I keep getting a CTD when I fly the BANGR3 departure from Seattle. I takeoff from RWY 16L follow the departure route northwest to the BANGR intersection and get a g3d.dll crash. Is this a documented CTD somewhere? If you decide to try this, see if you can fly all the way to the TOU VOR (112.2) without your PC crashing. If you can, then you are probably OK and I might have a problem somewhere, memory leak, etc....Thanks for any help!Airbus

Hey guys, ive been using the avsim library for over about a year and a half now (since i started flightsimming) but im new to the forums here.What im wondering is can anyone help me with the soundsets for the a320?I downloaded them and installed them and theyre great for the inside environment sound (cockpit etc), but im not so keen on the sounds when you look at the aircraft from outside.So my question is, can anyone help me to take out the sounds for the outside of the plane, and replace them with default?Thanks for any help you guys can give :)

CLS has produced another winner with their beautiful new DC-10. I love it because it runs with complete fluidity on my Triplehead2go system in VC mode and 40-60 fps in SPOT view. It just works instantly and with all of hardware including the new GoFlight MCP PRO, up we go and fly away, yay! Sure it's a lot more basic than PMDG and lacks a full FMC, etc., but when your time is short and you need a burst of color and energy, just turn on this puppy and off ya' goes. Hats off to CLS!JS

Hi,I have just d/led this wonderful little plane by John Recker, with additional 2D panel by Horst Paetzold, adapted and significantly altered! by Roger Mole, but it has no pilot figure and to my eyes looks odd in spot view! I recently replaced my HEAK 400W PSU with Antec TruePower Trio 550550 Watt PSU, together with replacing my graphic card from GF7800GT to EVGA GF7950GT (PCI-E).Maximum 5 minutes after I start FS9 something happens: computer crashes, display crashes or comuter freezes and needs hard reset.I am using the recent 94.24 NV driver for the 7950, did not change any FS9 settings or display & nView settings (2 screens).The new power supply connectors were connected exactly in place of the old ones, have no idea what the problem is.I use XP, AMD 3800 Dual, 2G memory. I would like to change the practice airport from Bremerton to my home airport KILM (Wilmington, NC).I have opened the student folder in the flight instruction area, and studied the files for modification. Is it possible to do this?Can anyone provide any instruction as to which lines of code might be modified to accomplish this? Any suggestions much appreciated.

I have downloaded a few photo-realistic panels now but the only thing that annoys me is the Non working wipers I have downloaded a wiper gauge but although the switch is there the wipers are still non active, this happens on any add on panels but also on default panels the file I downloaded is called wipergauge.zip & im currently trying to install it into an add on panel file name tu734v1.zip by Targan UNUTMAZ, does anyone know if it is possible to do this or is there a working wiper gauge I can install that will actually work, Thank you
