Since FFS folded (I should say took the money and ran), are the liveries available anywhere, or did they vanish too?Rick

Ive added some obects to my local airport EGBB using RWY12, which work out fine however Im trying to add a Heliport to it via Lee Swordys AFCAD program (although it doesnt actually have one in real life) now its showing up on the AFCAD file when saved etc but doesnt show when I start F9 does this have anything to do with my RWY12 additions or is there something else Im doing wrong with AFCAD, Ive designated parking spaces etc but its the 1st time Ive actually added something like a helipad, any help would be appreciated, Thank you :(

If I add (as described in the documentation) the two ils v1.1 files from the included set by Jim Vile, I am getting duplicate offset building structures particularly the SE commuter terminal. Has anyone noticed this?e-mail to the KMSP author from me has been rejected so far by his SPAM filters at his yahoo e-mail domain.I have tried different priority schemes to no avail.If Jim Vile sees this, do you have available just the .bgl with the ils objects only?Thanks for looking.

I have some static aircraft at Charles de Gaul that are without textures. If I install France 1 and France 2 they are still there but again they have no textures, they seem to be in the right places on the gates. I have searched for static aircraft and BGL files but no joy.It is in my addon scenery folder but not in the scenery folder within as I have not transferred that yet.As I have not installed any scenery for CDG I am at a lose.Any help would be really appreciated.RegardsDanny

I was wondering if anybody is aware of a way to quickly switch between display settings in FS9. For example, it would be great to create a few settings profiles that you can switch to mid-flight depending on the situation. For cruising with scattered clouds, you'd have your best settings selected. Then as you are on final at JFK, the clouds are really dense and the ground traffic is heavy, conspiring to crush your FPS. You then hit something like Ctrl+Alt+3 and quickly bump your settings to a lower profile using preset smaller textures, lower cloud draw %, and less traffic. Wouldn't that be nice? Has somebody already created this utility?Alden

Not sure what is going on, but it's bothersome. :(FS9, running in WINDOWED mode, on Windows Vista. When I try to switch views, either with "W" or "S" or my CH yoke views, it sticks. What I mean is, it won't change views, and even sometimes crosses the cockpit view with the small 4-pack only, etc.it does this with ANY aircraft, even the C172 default. I've upgraded drivers to latest for NVidia 6800XT card.Any ideas?

Ive got a Problem, Ive installed some aircraft & refuelling vehicles using RWY12, these items show up minus the textures so they're just white, for example "using xnview" Ive searched the appropiate folder ie; FS9/addon scenery/Static Objects Library/texture & the bmp file for (sk_refueller_Shell) is there (but doesnt show when I search just using normal navigation ie clicking on appropiate folders with the mouse) why arent these textures showing up in FS9 when I run it?

G'day, I'm wanting to help some young guys with pre-ops orientation before they go to fly in North Aussie for MAF. I've got local knowledge from when I used to fly there but it would be really handy for them to have a look at some low level (tropical wet season type) nav exercises to actual outstation bush strips before they go. I used to have a small utility which would add simple airstrips, buildings etc to FS2004 but I didn't ever back it up. If anyone can point me in the direction of a basic one which will let me do this I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I'm using a mapping program to provide some terrain information and I need to simulate a Cessna flying over in complex patterns. I'd like to use MS Flight Simulator to provide the GPS information in NMEA format. The problem is, I don't know how to do it. Can someone tell me what folder location in FS9 that the AFCAD files for third party scenery should be placed? When I installed the scenery Kai Tak 98, I created a Kai Tak 98 folder within FS9's Addon Scenery folder, then created scenery and texture subfolders under the Kai Tak 98 folder as per the author's instructions.But this instruction from the Readme.txt was not clear to me:"6. Copy the AFCAD file (af2_vhhx_ils_jv.bgl) to the folder that has all your AFCAD airport file bgl's."I ended up putting this .bgl into the Addon Scenery/scenery subfolder (not in the Kai Tak scenery subfolder) and things seem to work OK. Hey Guys,I was on the Avsim homepage and saw that Cielosim just released Flight Enhancer.As a previous customer of Sky Environment I decided to give it a try.All I can say is Wow! After their SP1, I can't seem to turn off the flight director. It comes up automatically after IRS alignment and cannot be switched off no matter what.Is there a way to turn if off that I don't know about or that's just how it is?Doubt they'll work on another SP, this might be "as real as it gets" for their CX.Jason

I've been given a CH flight yoke from a friend but it has a serial port connection.The yoke comes with an Elite control interface 5.I've had to contend with several issues since getting the yoke which include getting a usb adapter and a usa to uk plug adapter for the interface.The other problem i have is the yoke came with a 3.5inch disc which isn't compatable with my computer since i only can play cd/dvd roms.I've tried plugging the yoke in but it is non responsive and i've written to ch products but was told to buy a usb yoke.Can anyone help in getting this yoke up and working or is it a lost cause.I'm running a fairly new dell with 256mb ati card and fs2004.Any help, m…

Ive downloaded RWY12 & associated files, when creating my enhanced scenery (Im following the given tutorial) at the end when you select Generate scenery, it will create the XML file but its failing to create the .BGL file, can someone shed some light on what might be wrong, Id be grateful of any help thanks:-zhelp
