Hey guys!! I recently changed computers and bought a high performance computer for FSX. However, I am still using my FS9 for most of my flying until FSX has sceneries and aircrafts that I will use.I have a ATI Raden x1300 graphics card and I've been having bad problems with video. Texures at night appear green and red, over the aircraft and on the ground. Textures are bad on the clouds and ground. I've tried different display settings with different levels in FS2004 and so far no good at all. Textures keep getting worse and worse.I tried downloading a new driver from ATI, no good at all.Any suggestions?Thanks!!!Teo

I saw a TV show on the Travel Channel "Millon Dollar Planes". They showed a PC-12. When going over features and benifits they discussed that the pro was not attached to the Turbine engine rather that the air pulled buy the engine then thus pussed from the forward movment turned the prop. Greetings, What is the best freeware utility for removing unused gauges? I just tried a beta version that my friend is working on, but it messed up my whole gauges folder, and I had to restore my computer to fix it. I still need to get rid of my unused gauges, but I don't want any more problems. Can someone recommend the most reliable gauge removal utility please?Thank you,Brian Fletcher

Greetings people,Recently I decided to do "summer cleaning" for my PC. I only reinstalled XP/home on the "C" drive. My MSFS 9 was/is located on my "d". Where before the cleaning I was able to turn on the taxiway using my arrow keys on my number pad on my keyboard (AuraVison - a backlit 101 keyboard). The wing surfaces would ajdust normally as I turned either left or right. AFter the reinstallation of only the OP system on the "c", I now cannot do the turns anymore, yet the wing surfaces still show which direction I should be heading. Is there a setting somewhere in the CFG file that allows for this type of turn to occur? and if so where might it be?....Thanks a bunch(A si…

I have tried to find C-160 D Transall Luftwaffe for FS2002, The author - Vladimir Zhyhulskiy without any luck. The link in Readme.html goesto Avsim.ru but I could't find it from there.Does someone know where it could be found?

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem recently - Idid notice a couple of posts elsewhere. Not quite relevant but I have to recover my computer from a 1 monthold image (13th May 2007) due to a teenage son issue. After a trip to Alaska, I've gotten interested in float planes. My question is, after installing the plane, how do you place it in the water? By slewing or what?

Flight Simulator is only reading the Left Fuselage textures on all my aircraft, it wont read the Engines or Right side, please help me! I tried Reset to Defaults but that didnt work, I didnt have a problem up untill today. I painted an aircraft, then went straight onto Flight Sim and it worked, now second time round they all are like this.Help much appreciated :)

Ok I downloaded and installed that scenery and apparently it needs nova/nova gold textures. I placed the nova textures in my FS9 root/Scenery/Generic/Textures folder, but I still get white buildings. How do I fix this?

G'dayCan anyone tell me whether a FSX compatibility upgrade to the Cessna 172R (FS9) from Flight1 is available at the moment. Maybe I missed details about that in either Forums or news/reviews about it. Can't find stuff on the Flight1's website. The support section of this particular plane has no news about any upgrades. I know that people who downloaded the software for FS9 can download the plane again for FSX with the same purchase KEY, but I purchased the CD-Rom version. A compatibility version for CD owners was coming up according to Flight1, but that was a few months ago.Thanks and regardsRichard

HiI am new here,I have FS2004, when air traffic audio messages are relayed as according to mission, when I am on the ground I do notice a jerk in the picture, its like the PC cannot do both at the same time.compaq PCMCE2005 OS2G RAM A lot of it is free250G hard drive - game running from HDD1440 x 900 screenintel dual core E6400So is this just the time it takes to read the file from disk while doing the graphics so there is a jerk, quite normal, or is there something I can do?regardskrishan

Hi all,Lately I have been having an issue with my PC and FS. I have only tested with one plane, but here goes.1. Load up FS2. from the menu, I have the default Cessna, and I pick my airport.3. after all loads up in the 2D view, I select the Eaglesoft CJ1.4. It loads up in the 2D view.5. I turn on the boosts and the secondary pumps and hit the starter.6. The second I hit either "S" or "CTRL S" to get to spot view, the sound stutters.7. immediately after, the screen goes blank and the PC reboots.8. I get an error saying a "Serious Error has occurred" and it says some driver made it quit or something.Anyone have a solution?Thanks

How does anyone know what frame rate a game is capable of doing.With FS2004, I set mine to 26, since that seems to be accepted that anything over that is not going to make any different. Hi guys, After using fs9 now since its release, i have only just had this thought. Is there any sites out there that we are able to download a specific weather theme for the default. Are there any high quality flight planners, similar to the Jepessen corporate FlightStar software that I can buy? The only versions they have for a decent price are VFR or IFR, not both. For both, they want 600 USD, and that's a little too much. I'm okay with maybe 400 USD, but not being a real pilot makes spending any more a bit too much. I really just like the nice map terrain display and charts you get with it. None of the FS planners have any good maps or charts. I like being able to have all the low/high (enroute) charts, plus terminals all in one easy place, and not web-based. Hi allCan anyone help,I have Vista Ultimate with 2 x GTS 8800 grahics cards and a Intel Extreme x6800 2.93Ghz CPU 4 GB ram P965 T-A MB.fs9 has been running fine, but then i had to reinstall Vista due to MB ugrade, so to cut long story short i also uninstalled and reinstalled both FS9 and FSX with both SP updates, FSX runs ok but FS9 is doing some really weird things!!when you first open a flight and are sitting on runway I power up and nothing is moving in the main window (cockpit view) if i updock the windows then it shows the normal movement, if i switch to Virtual cokpit then movement is normal?.I have uninstalled, reinstalled but it still acts the same, never had this…
