Hi guys,I've heard many people raving about this addon and am considering getting it. Having read the information on their website I have a couple of further questions.1) Does RC4 interact with AI traffic like the default ATC. I mean do you still hear other traffics transmissions? I have alot of AI and quite like the fact I hear obscur callsigns when flying in new areas.2) Does it work with AI smooth as some of the features of the two seem to overlap3) Have any of you who use this program notice any FPS hits due to RC4. After updating FSX to service pack 1, when I go to use my FS9 I now find that my PMDG load managers will not work, also my FS2crew centre will not work and my Active Camera has been reduced back to demo mode ??When you click on either of the two PMDG 747 / 747F load managers the message " Fatal Error can not detect a valid microsoft flight simulator installation" come up on screen.For FS2Crew,when using the crew centre, if you select either of the LDS767 or PMDG 747 tabs the message " FS2Crew levelD 767 edition not detected.Funtctions on the tab will be INOP" ( same for 747 )And to top it all my active camera installation has reverted beck to demo mode ?????FS9 is flying…

hello there. i am currently doing a scenery and i have two questions:1.when i test ai, some planes exit at the wrong taxiway causing the flow of traffic to mess up therefore, air planes disappearing.i would like to know if there is a way i can edit the cfg file or any attached file to an ai aircraft so that it stops approximately 1300 meter or further from touchdown. i only have problems with small jets. this is because in real life, even small jets exit at this taxiway or beyond. what is happening is that they exit on a taxiway that is 135 degree from the runway. and they face outgoing traffic on taxiways. 2. is there a way that i could make a taxiway in afcad one-way r…

AFCAD Help!For whatever reason I am having issues with AFCAD. Several of the airports I have modified, no longer show up as modified, but rather as the stock airports. I open AFCAD and search for the airports I have modified, but only the stock version is available.Strangely, 3rd party AF2 files work fine and other custom airports I have previously modified are fine as well. I have checked the Addon Scenery/Scenery folder and the AF2 files for each airport are there and I have even deleted them and readded the files from my backup. Hi,I have dilemma... Running an nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX I am privileged to a loadful of shimmering at different add-on airports. Let's take a look at the magnificent FlyTampa LOWW, for example:- I mipped everything that could be mipped and there's no shimmering anymore. BUT! There are horrendous stutters as I approach the area when textures get loaded. - With original textures, the airport is shimmering terribly, but everything is smooth as silk.What to do, except changing the video card? I played with settings till my eyes got sore, but I couldn't get rid of the shimmering with original textures (mostly non-mipped). FPS seem the same in both cases, by the way. Same goes…

Trying to sort this for a number of years now.Recently noticed when fs9 is fired up look in processes and a file ,~e5d141.tmp also starts up.Googled it and it seems to be something to do with adobe and Macromedia Deamwaver.It seems to be causing slow downs with people using the above graphic programs.Could this be the cause of FS9 fps slowdownsIf you stop the process you stop Fs9.Any ideas.DavePent.D 3.6x1950xtxNever used on the inernet

Hello,I've noticed that in FS2004 the sun or I might tell, the environment at dusk is a bit too dark related to the season you're in.I'm flying around the Scandinavia a lot and Europe and it is a bit too dark around 21.00CET.Is there a way to configure it in someway or is there a 3rd party software that is capable of fixing it?I'm using FS2004, ActiveSky 6.5 for that matter.Best regards/Artur

Can anyone please give me some advise on the correct procedures for landing at an airport after a VFR flight?Specifically, I'm flying the stock FS2004 "Alaskan Float Plane Pilot" adventures, VFR in a Cessna Caravan, taking-off and landing at Merrill Field, Anchorage, Alaska.I'm vaguely aware of the existance of approach charts and have done some VOR/DME and ILS landings in the past, so not quite a total noob, but I'm a little confused on when to use what.Merrill Field is sandwiched tightly between Elmendorf Military Airbase to the north and Anchorage Ted Stevens International to the south. I put a lot of emphasis on sound files as they bring real immersion into the sim. I've had the LDS 767 for quite some time but not flying it much. The reason for me was the wind sound along with the landing gear sound on approach. They may be realistic, but they didn't sound realistic to my ear. Well, I found a great sound set by Preston Nirattisai in the file library. It replaces just a few key sound files but makes a world of difference. I did a search for some comments about this sound set but didn't find any, so I highly recommend them. The file name is 767-gear.zip.Curt

What yoke and throttle apart from CH products would you recommend by experience for this type of plane.

I recently installed Windows Vista this weekend and thus reinstalled FS9. However, I'm having a very difficult time trying to get the antialiasing to work with my video card in the sim. It's as if FS9 is ignoring my video card. I have an NVidia Geforce 8800 GTX. I know there are some issues with this card and FS9, but I also know that there is some sort of solution to get FS9 to recognize the card, at the expense of not seeing your aircraft in the aircraft selection window while in full screen mode in the sim. I just need a little help in the right direction to find out what exactly it is I need to do to remedy this problem and get FS9 looking sharp again!Anyone?

I'm in the process of re-installing the contents of my Aircraft folder in FS2004 after I inadvertently deleted many of the texture files for the aircraft in it. Unfortunately I don't have a comprehensive set of backups for the folder.Does this process have an effect on any flight-plan assignments which had been made before ?? Or to put it another way, since many of the aircraft were assigned to flightplans, will the assignments have to be done again ??

Hi all-I had a question regarding the addition of scenery to FS9. Having made the decision to stick with FS9 for the foreseeable future, I've been adding quite a few scenery packages and was wondering something. I looked in the scenery library and have found all the addons (UT, Freight Dogs,Cloud9 KLAX and so forth)there stacked by order. Does the order in which they appear cause another 9the one below) to be overwritten? For example, I just added Freight Dogs and was wondering if some of its scenery it overwrote Misty/Tongass Fjords. Likewise with water textures from Flight Environment. I hoping this is making sense!Thanks,Mark

Hello, I bought FS9 about 8 months ago (if that)I'm trying to get the overspeed indications correct for a specific aircraft, but I don't know what is going on with the configuration files. I've messed with planes since FS98, and the plane that I am flying now was setup for FS2002. My question is no matter what I do with the overspeed indications in the "Air" file (Primary Aerodynamics) nothing seems to work. Here's the indications that I am getting, and if this makes any sense. Flight level 350 MSL, IAS: 313/314 kts, Mach: .885 (Gulfstream specs), TAS: 513 kts, this is where/when the overspeed indication light comes on. In my "Config" file under reference speeds I have …
