hi guys! does anyone know if theres a patch available to enable "Real Airports" for FS2000 to work with with FS9, Ive installed it but obviously although working it plays havoc with my textures etc, if there is one Id be most grateful.

I have a Delta 777-200ER, and it has GE-90 engines.Recently, I tried putting the Delta's GE powerplants on a United Airlines 777-200ER, but they wouldn't seem to successfully replace the Delta's GE powerplant textures.The United's powerplants have blank fans, cones, and no rotating shaft motion (the rest of the plane's textures look fine). I downloaded both the Delta and the United textures from Avsim some time ago and just placed the texture.UAL folder in my Boeing 777-200ER Delta folder, with the appropriate aircraft.cfg modification.If I'm not mistaken, they're both repaints for the excellent Meljet model.Wonder what I've done incorrectly?Clues, suggestions, comments-…

I am wondering if anyone knows a place where I can purchase an authentic and realistic acting Throttle Quadrant for either the 737 or 767, preferably the 767.Times like this I wonder what happened to that company up here in Canada that WAS making the 767 quadrant. I wish they would come back.

Hi allI can't seem to get my assigned keyboard control to work in the new C150L.Mouse control of the VC electric flaps switch works - and the "flaps up" keyboard assignment works - but the "flaps down" keyboard assignment won't work.Any others with this small problem?Thanks Barry

I dont have the GND CTL problems that I have been reading about, most places everything works pretty good. I have a problem with PHNL. ATC only uses one runway. 22L/4R. The Visual approach 22l is totally ridiculus. I get descended to 2000, climbed to 3500, descended back to 2000, then climbed to 3900, and then get turned north just before I cross the mountains. Finally, it acts like I didn't respond to it, and cancels my IFR clearance!!! What the heck is going on??? I have the same problem with FSX, even post SP1!!! The other problems are really STOOPID! Vectors to crosswind runways, while there is a perfectly aligned runway available, getting assigned too short a runway …

Hi,when I was reinstalling FS04, I realized that some scenery-files are damaged and couldn't be copied/installed.I closely examined my FS04 CD4 and saw a small scratch appearently damaging the following .cab-files:Hongkong.cabKittyhwk.cabLasvegas.cabLa.cabMiami.cabNiagara.cabParis.cabPhoenix.cabSanfran.cabSydney.cabTokyo.cabEverytime I start FS now, there is an Errormsg for every single missing scenery file. This is pretty annoying and so I want to ask if anyone can send my these files via Email.Thanks,Regulator

After starting FS9 and loading aircraft and airport, I find the aircraft is in tower view, when i look in the view I see that the tower view button is clicked and the cockpit view is greyed out.Any solutions please ?:-(

OK,So I am slightly ashamed to admit that it took me all of these years to break down and add mesh to my FS9 experience. I have always added weather, textures, airports, aircraft, utilities such as FS2Crew, FSPassengers, FDC etc... but I never ever added Mesh. I am mostly an IFR guy so I figured how much difference could it really make from FL 350 or above. Well this past week I purchased all of the DVD's got the free Buffer DVD and spent yesterday disabling my PF, using O&O to defrag, installing FSGenesis, using O&O to do a complete/name defrag again after install. (I installed FSGenesis to PSGenesis so that is comes after FS in the defrag,) rebuilt my PF and…

Can anyone help me with this problem?I realized that antialiasing is the cause for that, but I do not know how to get rid of it.I used nhancer with Ryan's tips on a GeForce 7900GT. Whenever I switch to any antialiasing mode that contains a 1x2 Supersampling mode I get the following error: the image is blacked out below any kind of overlayed window (it works also in windowed mode, only it does not turn black but a different image is loaded below, i.e. from when the view was loaded first). I had an interesting observation the other day that I've never seen before.I flew into the default LAX and taxied to terminals. More than one AI plane was parked at the gate sitting on its tail! I then noticed a couple of other AI planes landing in the same attitude....nose straight up and sitting on their tails.Has anyone else observed this or does anyone know what could cause this?gwillmot

Hello.Does anyone know what should be put in the "atc_type" and "atc-model" areas of the aircraft.cfg file for the recently released Bombardier BD-700 Global Express aircraft from Thinus Pretorius?These fields are blank now and I'm sure that will cause FS2004 to refer to the plane as Experimental.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

Hey, im about to purchase the captain sim 757...but i was just wondering if people could tell me how the frame rates are on it? are they really slow? because i would like to enjoy flying it if i pay for it...voice your opinions please... thanks

I have 3 monitors, and am running 3 views, two of which are undocked.On the FWD/Left & FWD/Right views you can see part of the cockpit canopy frame, and I want to get rid of them. How can I do that?I've tried the following:- Remove all reference to VCOCKPIT from the Panel.CFG files- Made some of the panel.bmp files totally black (hoping that would translate to being transparent).- Verified undocked views ARE NOT in Virtual Cockpit mode.I'm using a German Alphajet (light attack fighter) and I really need to get rid of the canopy frames. One reason for my not using VCs is that they appear much too dark comparted with the 2D versions. Is there anyway I can incease their brightness? My monitor has been set up with a Gretag-Macbeth Eye One so its display is correct.

I purchased this on Sat 11PM EST 6/2/07 and after 1 trouble Ticket with Sim Market,forum post at their site,8 e-mails,a PM to Davide,and 6 attemps to register using their automated utility "manager and setup" I still cannot get the enable key I paid for.I should learn that the only way to make a solid purchase is with companies like Flight1 or PMDG which I must say know how to keep their business model in check.I am so frustrated when things like this go wrong and I am posting this as a "buyer beware" ...... Hi all, ran into a bit of a problem today. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!!Whilst trying to open Loadmanager_FS2004 for the PMDG 737, it tells me that it cannot find the FS9 directory. Also tried opening AFCAD, and it will not collect any airports. FS9 is working fine, and its in the same place its always been.Whats going on??? Ok so i landed in tucson with my IFDG A319 Frontier Airlines plane and i kno the gate that the plane is supposed to go to and its set first on my parking list for KTUS and no other plane was there but ATC directed me to the cargo parking. I checked the aiplane.cfg and everything is right and the gate is big enough. Does anybody kno whats wrong.

This really bugs me.I play with headphones mostly and when I look left or right sometimes the sound is in the wrong ear. e.g I look left, but the sound is in my right ear.It depends on the aircraft, so it can't be my wiring.Is it possible to fix this?Maybe edit a config file, or a wave file?

HiIn fs9 the default landclass doesnt look very good.It very unrealistic for most parts of Spain since everything seems way too green. Take Barajas for example - its dry as #### in august but in fs its all green.Does anyone know if there is at realistic landclass for this region ?And how about Africa - Cairo is too small. There is a free landclass for the entera africa, but the Cairo is also way too green.Any suggestions ?

We have an unprecedented situation. The latest flight simulator has been out for nearly eight months, and yet the majority of new files in the library are for FS2004. Some people are bound to say, "these addons work in FSX as well", but that is overlooking something very significant. In the past, freeware authors associated their uploads with the latest version, whenever compatibility allowed them to. This isn't happening with FSX!How many new files were labelled "FS2002", eight months after FS9's release? Virtually none. Previous versions of FS have never been like this - not even FS2000. Less than 25% of today's uploads are for FSX ... how much longer will this …
